Late Delivery
April 5, 2021

Late Delivery - I was supposed to get the glasses the week of 8th February. It was postponed due to some quality check issues at Lensabl. The delivery was rescheduled to be for the 20th. Due to issues on the end of USPS, I got the specs only on the 28th or 29th.

Unhappy with service
April 5, 2021

My order, *******, was returned once for not having PRISM. I was required to have tis verified thru a local optometrist, which took a few days. After wearing glasses for several years I know what a bad prescription is. I could not get a return label until I proved Lensabl error.
I finally received the return label, waited too long. Received glasses again and there is no bifocal in lens.
This is CRAP!

Exceeded my expectations

I didn't initially know what to expect with Lensabl, but I was quickly awed and delighted! I initially got connected to the company through Groupon. The discount I received was pretty significant, but I wasn't quite sure about the quality. I soon had a smile on my face as I easily navigated the website, placed my order, and received my glasses. The fit was great and the lens (which had to be progressive) turned out really well. I would definitely recommend them to others.

"Computer glasses" didn't work...

The process of working with Lensabl was very good! The result, not so much... I sent in my regular prescription and my computer glasses prescription all printed on one page, carefully marking that I wanted computer glasses. (I have one pair of computer glasses and wanted these to be a second pair for work.) What was returned are nothing like my other computer glasses. In fact, I'm not sure they aren't just plain lenses... Maybe faint reading but I may even be imagining that... They should be progressive middle distance at the top and reading at the bottom so that in the middle they work for a computer screen... Not sure if I should send them back to try again?

Small details help...

The online experience was great and I was able to pick out my glasses. When I ordered them, the communication after I ordered them was lacking. It took me reaching out a week or so after I placed my order to even get it shipped. Then USPS took a solid 2 or 3 weeks to get it to me. The box I got was good but my white glasses case had a blue marking on it like someone's finger had smeared ink on it. The glasses were nice but I got an extra pair of lenses without any explanation of why they were in there. A little friendly note explaining my order and why i got a second pair of lenses would have been great. Would have also been nice if that second pair of lenses were in a container or something instead of just rolling around in the case. With a few small tweaks, you guys can be doing so much better!

Seriously lacking...

I saw this company on Facebook, and figured I would give it a shot since I already have beautiful frames. It was easy enough to place the order and get the prepaid shipping box to send the frames. I did receive notification that the frames were received. That is where everything fell apart. Several days after (when I was expecting my glasses back already) I received an email asking for my PD measurement. Something I already provided when I put in the order. I placed an order for the very best lenses. Almost $400 for single vision, and they seemed to get lost with no communication. I finally wrote in after a couple of weeks, only to be told that my lenses failed inspection and had to be remade. Only 4 to 5 more business days (I really need glasses!). After a longer period than that with no communication, I wrote again. Lensabl is NOT quick getting back to you. I received the same message. In the meantime, I saw another online eyeglass company offer a free pair. I ordered those, and paid only $30 for a complete pair of glasses with coatings and everything and received them in THREE days.
For all the trouble and worry, the only thing Lensabl did was upgrade shipping when they were finally ready. I purposely didn't order anything that said it took extra time, such as mirrored finish Transitions. I finally received them yesterday and honestly they are nothing great. The lenses are the same quality as the pair of glasses I bought for $30. Definitely not worth the $400.
Poor communication and a just ok product, and absolutely no customer service. I feel like these lenses should be free after all the aggravation I had. All in all, a truly bad experience.

My First experience

Before trying Lensabl I had checked a local place for my specific need. Not only would it have been more expensive, but they couldn't guarantee results. I did my research and found lensabl. I was able to input my prescription and upload the information they needed and send my frames for fitting. I was able to check on my glasses at anytime, and found the online provided information helpful and detailed. They did have a delay due to my lenses not passing inspection. They dropped me an immediate note in my email about the delay and the remedy to fix it promptly. They were detailed and clear about what was happening. I never worried about it. I got my glasses last night and everything is perfect. I am very impressed and would use them again in the future.

DISAPPOINTED

Took 23 days to receive glasses, yes some of that was due to our wonderful post office. They advised me manufacturing delays were due to having to redo the lenses but they failed to notice one of the arms of the glasses was very loose and could not be tightened anymore. They do not have any way to contact them by telephone and it usually takes a few days for them to respond to emails. Just not worth the hassle. Ordering another pair from competitor and wont be back.

Contacted customer service to see if they could expedite my order. I received a very quick response and did their best to accommodate my request. Although it wasn't possible to do so (since I asked to get it back in 2 days), I very much appreciated the effort. They still came 2 days earlier than the expected shipping date so that was very satisfactory. The glasses are perfect, feeling like a fresh pair. Definitely recommend using this product/service!

My glasses were with Lensabl for 6 weeks. This was considerably longer than expected, and would have been much less upsetting had I received regular updates during the process. Although I could log in and view the status of my order, for a couple weeks the status said "estimated 5 business days" before the next step in the process. Actual date estimations would have been more helpful. Emails when my glasses moved through each step would have been appreciated. I did reach out to customer service a few times and they were able to give me updates within a couple days each time. However my last customer service update was 2/11 that my glasses would be shipped within a few days pending inspection, then finally 2/25 I received an automated email that my glasses did not pass quality checks and were being redone. Once my glasses finally arrived I was happy with the final product, but the lack of communication and transparency was very disappointing. I will likely look elsewhere next time and cannot in good faith recommend this service.

Very pleased

I was very pleased to have found Lensabl to produce sunglasses/glasses from my personal frame.
The product was produced as advertised and was done very well. I was pleased that they informed me that the first lenses produced was not up to their standards and would produce a second set.
I have never had Rx sunglasses and was most pleased with the end product and especially that they were able to use my favorite sunglass frames. Thank you!

Fantastic

This company is something that's really important the customers. They provide many options for your lens as a replacement or new frame. What can I say, they meet my expectation for my new Stoggle glasses even though I received an email that my lens didn't pass the production inspection which is perfect that it is important for them to check before being shipped so it won't be a problem for future reference. I would order again if anything goes wrong with future glasses or order again for new prescriptions. It makes my life a lot more better that ace.

Stoggles lenses

The product is OK when you finally get it. I ordered stoggles frames and sent them to lensabl. It took several months to get my goggles back. I emailed several times ans they did respond back. I guess my lenses weren't made correctly so they had to make them again. They didn't offer to refund part or anything nor could they tell me how long it would take. The shipping status stayed "will ship in 2-3 days" for several weeks. They weren't cheap and I paid extra for anti fog. They are NOT anti fog. I would recommend just going with a local company and getting them quickly. I went with this company for the anti fog and quick turn around and was disappointed on both.

All's well that ends well

I got a new glasses prescription in 2021 for the first time in years. I took the opportunity to buy a new pair of Bose Tempo frames for running and Lensabl is the official partner of Bose for prescription running glasses. The frames are amazing and are great to run in. If you are a runner that listens to music or guided runs, they are worth the expense.

The only glitch was that one of the lenses was not the correct prescription when originally shipped. It took several emails to finally arrange a phone conversation with someone to get an explanation of the situation. Once we got through that hurdle, everything got worked out. The glasses were shipped back to Lensabl, corrected, and shipped back with the right prescription.

The quality of their work is good. And the staff is very good as well, it is just a little clunky having to go through their email system to communicate and there being some delays in communication. They told me they are working on a phone number which would solve my issue completely.

Just to prove this wasn't a dealbreaker, I'm having them replace the lenses in other frames, so you should give them a try.
