Customer service was great when my order got messed up somehow. My glasses came back just not as good if not even better than if I would have gone to an actual drs office to order!
I placed my order April 10 and did not receive my glasses until June 7. The glasses I received were not my prescriptions and had marking visible on them. Looks like a magnifying glasses. I spent over $200 plus the cost of my frame and still does not have the right glasses. When I called lensabl that the process was taking too long. I was called a disgruntled customer. I will never recommend lensabl to anyone I know.
Hello, I purchased lenses for my safety goggles from Canada. I read the website which advertises free shipping. I was then charged 35USD$ for shipping. On top of that I was then asked to pay for shipping to your company. When I inquired about this, I was rudely told that I didn't read the fine print. I suggested that when a Canadian resident enters their address a disclaimer should pop up to inform about extra shipping costs. I was informed by the customer service rep that this did exist but that upon further investigation it had been malfunctioning and turned off when I made my purchase. There was never any apologies or even an offer of a discount code on a future purchase. I ended up paying more in shipping costs than I did for the lenses. In addition I sent my glasses in a protective case that I trusted to protect my lenses which was not returned to me. I understand that may be my fault for choosing to ship my glasses to your company in the package I received them in, but I was met with rude customer service rep again who told me I shouldn't have sent in any cases I didn't want back. I am not impressed with the quality of cases that my glasses were returned to me in. I have waited a few weeks to try out my lenses before writing this. The lenses are adequate with no major concerns. I will not be returning to your company as I have found alternatives. I realize you are a smaller growing business so it pains me to write such a negative review but I truly was not happy with how the customer service agents approached my concerns and lack of any sort of reimbursement offer or compensation.

After cataract surgery I no longer need distance lenses. This frame was converted to reading glasses which I do need and lives to see (no pun intended) another day. I will do this again.

Ordered lined bifocal lenses for my spare frames. I didn't like the photo upload spot on the website because it would not accept any photo file larger than 40K. When I received my new lenses the distance vision seemed fine but the reading lenses were too low and too close together. I contacted customer support and of course they wanted more pictures. I sent them more pictures and have heard nothing since.
I bought some sunglasses I was obsessed with for over a year. I wear glasses all the time though, don't like contacts, and need my glasses especially for driving. So I needed to figure out a way to get my prescription in them because I just spent a good amount of money on these amazing sunglasses, I want to wear them all the time. I found lensabl online and was a bit anxious sending off my precious sunglasses, but they worked fast and I got them back a week later and they are PERFECT! They are polarized, did not break the bank, and look awesome! They look the exact same as the old lenses, and when I switch to them from my glasses, there is no difference the prescription is perfect. At one point during my order, I got an email from lensabl saying they had to restart my order because the lenses they had made failed the quality control check. I super appreciate them communicating with me about this, as well as taking the time to quality check them, because they came back perfect! They even sent back my original lenses with it! I seriously cannot stress enough how awesome this is and how excited I am to now have my prescription in these sunglasses!
LOVE MY GLASSES, got my old Chanel frames updated with my new prescription, one pair of gradient lens sunglasses and one pair of progressives. The look awesome and are exactly my script. The process takes a while, so make sure you have back up glasses to wear. Also, there is no live chat feature on the website and no phone number so customer service takes a few days to get back to you which can be frustrating, but in the end the glasses look great and I priced other websites and Lensabl was the best value. Also, I love that they offer many sunglasses tints including gradient.
I started my order in mid-April. Lensable took over a week just to send the required box to me so I could ship my frames. They've had my frames since May 13th and have not made any progress on my order. The only response I've received was the same "quality issue" response you'll see on their twitter account and that the process would be done in 3-4 business days. That was two weeks ago. I just want my frames back and a refund.

I had a pair of Ray Bans I got when I only needed distance. For the last several years I have needed bifocals. I got an updated prescription and put it in the website. Then I sent my old Ray Bans to CA. 4 weeks later I have my Ray Bans back and I can use then again and for less than if I went traditional.
I went through the process of ordering progressive lenses and all went very well. They took me through a measuring process online as well as allowed me to try on frames virtually. Overall, the experience was great and I love my new frames.
I sent a pair of Slyk frames to Lensable. More than one month later they arrived. The customer service is terrible. The lenses are perfect- but this isn't that hard and does not need to take more than 4 weeks. And the contradictions and promises unkept make this company a non starter for my repeat business. I collect glasses but won't shop here ever again.
Even though it took way longer than I expected and I wish they had contacted me about the quality check failing. At the end of the day my glasses and sunglasses came out perfectly. I got transition eyeglasses and mirrored polarized sunglasses both in progressive lenses. If you are in a rush and have a complicated order then look elsewhere. However I will be using them again as that is how satisfied I am with the final product.
I sent my glasses in to get different lenses put in and I was pretty worried after sending them because my order status wasn't changing and I saw some bad reviews on Better Business Bureau. It took a couple weeks but I got them and everything is great. I would definitely recommend Lensabl and would be glad to do business with them again.
My lenses took 36 days to arrive. No one contacted me at any time to explain they would be late. I sent three inquiries over the course of May to get the issue resolved. The responses I received were 1) slow and 2) mostly cut and paste justifications that paint the vice of lateness as the virtue of excellent quality control.
I sent expensive designer sunglasses to Lensable on their promise of quick turn around. I kept track of status. When the standard status of return shipping in 2 days turned to 7 days, I started emailing. Responses could only be classified as non responses - no information and always 3 or 4 days later. Finally both my husband and I tried to find a phone access. Impossible. Finally after threatening BBB complaint, they sent the frames back without the lenses which they destroyed. No apology other than literally " things happen". No $$ returned for the lenses or the money spent sending the glasses express to Lensable Six weeks of stress and time wasted. Avoid Lensable at all costs

Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
