This is my first mesh jacket and was impressed with the ability to wear it in warmer weather. I like the fit and features but I noticed that snap on the right sleeve had pulled out. I may have caught it on something but do not remember doing it. I therefore rated it lower on durability. I don't think I will go through the hassle or returning it but will just use the next snap down.
When I ordered this jacket they was out of stock so I could not use promo code. When jacket came into stock jacket was higher in price. Received item and went to unzip it and the zipper was caught in liner and tore about a 2 inch slit in material. Zipper is of poor quality but jacket felt nice. Sleeves are cool when riding so I would suggest a warm shirt underneath to keep arms warm.
Zipper is a little cheap and gets stuck at the same spot about half way up alot. That is about my only complaint. I think the value is great! You cant deny that this really is an "All season" Jacket. Lots of pockets. Fits perfect. Im 6'0" 170 got a medium and I was worried because of my wide shoulders I usually get between Med and Large but it really does fit perfect.
Excellant service and product Would like to see the free shipping at 49 come back and !0% off
Great buy for the Money, more pockets than I can use and with removable liners, wearable on warm days. Even faied well through the rain without the liners and line dried. At 6' and 175#,ordered the medium and fits well with built in expansion panels. All and all great value at low price and would buy again...
This a great jacket, perfect for the hot Texas weather. I have not used the vest or rain liner as yet but if it is like the jacket it the it will be perfect. I did not rate durability because I have had the jacket less than 30 days, although the nylon mess inter liner is already showing one pull place and I have not worn any thing to catch on the mesh.
Over all the price, shipping and the jacket is worth the price. Very pleased.
I was disappointed with the quality. Either a tear or a seam not sewned in the interior left elbow, also the material around one of the sleeve snaps on the left sleeve was detached. Not what I expected from my previous purchase experience.
I am 5'8", 200lbs and went with a large. Jacket is on the tigher side, perhaps should have gone with XL but afraid lenght would not be good. Not sure there is room for a sweatshirt with all the liners in it. I found it a little difficult to get my arms in the sleeves with the mesh liner. Rode last night in 53 degree weather with tshirt under. Could feel the cold in my arms but the body of the jacket seemed to be good. Overall seems to be a great jacket for the value and hoping it might break in a little the more I wear it, or perhaps maybe I should shrink a little.
I thought the jacket would be brighter? Its darker grey not anywhere close to the brightness in the pics. Otherwise this is a great jacket. Feels safe and secure. Im 6'2" 190 lbs, large is perfect. Great overall coverage, even the lower torso.
This jacket has a lot of features and is very versatile for the price. I haven't tried it in very cold weather yet. I put the liner in last week at 60 degrees and was too hot, so I expect that liner and the quilted vest to be good enough for me here in TN. The outer jacket did fine in 80 degree weather, as long as I didn't sit still too long.
Some parts of it don't seem to be very good quality, and I kind of doubt that it will stand up to regular use for very long, maybe a year. I expect a seam or zipper to fail any time really. I'm not knocking it, though, for what all you get for the money.
I ordered an XL and the fit is great except I find it to be a little long and tends to ride up. That's most likely my fault--I probably should wear a large but my gut is a little too big right now. Just keep that in mind if you're a little thick around the waist.
This is a great jacket. The armor really doesn't impede any movement. The mesh, with the liner out, is perfectly fine even for desert riding at about 95 degrees. Completely comfortable with both liners in for 38 degree weather. I found the liners a little difficult to get back in once out. Taking them out is real easy. Overall a great jacket for the price.
I bought this jacket and had it shipped to my son's best friend since they are planning to ride together. He loves it and said that it fits very well. He is very pleased with the jacket. I am very pleased with LeatherUp.com and can't imagine buying motorcycle gear from anywhere else!
I bought this jacket a year ago and used it all year. I bought a second jacket for my son. I ride my motorcycle whenever it is over 40 degrees which is most of the time in Texas. The jacket has two removable layers. I take both layers out when the temperature is over 65 degrees. I was comfortable on a 105 degree day with just the outer liner. I wear an insulated flight suit under the jacket when the temperature is below 50 degrees.
I am 5'10" and 210 lbs. Do a lot of weight lifting so decided to go with the XL instead of L. Made the right call and the fit is good except the arms a little bit long, but still fine. Gives good airflow on hot days with only the outer shell. The other two inside layers are good for cooler weather. I would say down to 50F or so. Haven't tested in the rain and don't plan to, but expect it would be decent. For the money, this is cool looking jacket and if it holds up for a few years then will be a super deal.
I'm 6'4" tall and weigh in at 285. The 5XL fits great, with and without the liners, because of the adjustments in the body and sleeves. I've worn it comfortably down to the upper 20's and into the mid 90's. The looks even rated interest and compliments at the local Harley shop. This is my second Xelement All Season Jacket and I am very pleased with this product and the price.
I Live in Pennsylvania so I was looking for a good all weather riding jacket When I found this one it hade all that I could ask for. The frist time I Tryed it out was on a 28 degrees morning . When't down the highway and never felt the cold air. Grate for the cold morning and the nice afternoon rides.
I received this jacket on a Thursday afternoon, took it out of the box, put it on, jumped on my bike and road 500 miles over the next two days, the jacket was great. Mesh was cool during the day and the waterproof liner kept me warm/dry in the rain and while I road at night. I'm 6'1" and 215 and the XL fits well. With all three layers it is snug but still comfortable. A feature I really liked was the two inside pockets that you can access without unzipping the inner liner. I would definitely recommend this jacket.
I am glad I read the reviews first, as I normally wear a 2X in all jackets with room to spare, but barely got in this 3X. Heavy duty riding jacket, well made, will last for years. Took longer to get on than my body armor before going on shift. Made sure you pull back velcro before unzipping or you will be putting this baby back together. I look forward to many years of use...
I am 5'10", 220 LBS with a bit of a gut. I ordered an XL. Was a bit worried but it fits just about perfect. Arms are long enough to not ride up. Seems like a very nice jacket. Have not had the pleasure of riding in the rain yet but the liner looks like it will keep me dry. I do agree that the arms get a bit chilly if you wear short sleeved shirts. The liner zippers are not the best quality either. Over all, I am very pleased. Well worth the price.
Great price for a nice looking good fitting jacket. 3 way lining system is a bit confusing and awkward. Overall I am very happy so far. Great customer service and free shipping is wonderful.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
