I love this jacket it's very nice for the $. It has good protection, looks nice and is a silver color so the sun won't cook you as much as with a black jacket which can just be terrible. The jacket seems pretty well made and has lots of pockets with a removable inner liner and armor pads. I ordered a 2XL and I'm 6'2" 190lbs and it fits me perfect with some room inside if I want to wear a sweater or something big underneath. I have wore this in 45 degree Indiana weather and it did nice and I'm glad I purchased it.

Greg S from Normal, IL. Have been looking for a jacket with protection as well as good looks and can be worn in cold or hot weather...and at a reasonable cost; Found it! I'm 5'8", 170 lbs with a 42 chest and 35 waist. The large fits perfect. It looks fantastic too. Rode in 45 degrees with a turtle neck pull over under and was very comfortable. I like the way the cuffs keep cold air from going up the sleeve. Read some bad reviews on this, but that is what they are supposed to do. Haven't tried the hot weather yet, so will have to wait for that to feel how the air flows through. Talked to another rider who has the same jacket and she loves it too! I highly recommend this jacket.

The part in the the product description saying it is waterproof is a mis print.

I was hoping it was waterproof but was not the most important factors.

It is very cool in the hot florida heat, actually cooler than wearing a dark shirt for first 2 minutes being stationary.

I am very satisfied with the product.

More protection than my black leather jacket, and cheaper, and much more comfortable temperature wise, and more comfortable besides temperature.

I plan on getting the matching leggings.

The waterproof misprint needs to be fixed.

I would give it 4.5 stars, but can only choose between 4 and 5.

Purchased because of hot weather in Florida. it's not bad on a long run if you remove the liner. However, tried putting it back in the other day and one of the snaps sewed to the lining on the sleeve broke. I also don't care much for the cuffs on the sleeve. The picture doesn't show the inside of the cuff. Not for the summer. I'M 6FT AND 185, medium fits good, have another xelement jacket basically the same but black and large. It's way to hot when you stop, but the gray is better. I wear medium shirts, this medium is a good fit, snug. I'm going to remove the inner cuff as also mentioned in the reviews. Good price for it, will wear it more when and if it every cools down a little more.

Listen to them when they say order big! I wear a 3x, and ended up with a 5x. I love everything about this jacket, extept the backwards main zipper. The Zipper pull is on the left side of the zipper instead of the right. I will get used to it, but it just seems a bit odd. The value of this jacket is fantastic! WELL built, good pockets, love the lining and look forward to many many rides! Dont let the price of this fool you, its a great jacket! AND, my cut works great over it.

Excellent Xelement jacket for the money. Large pockets, plenty of storage. There is even a gun compartment if you need a place to stash your 'piece' during a quick two-wheeled getaway. The elastic on the cuffs is nothing to complain about ( like others have ), even in summer. It keeps bugs out for crying out loud. The silver/gray color reflects the sun nicely and has better visibility. Why people buy black mesh jackets to supposedly stay cool in summer is beyond me. I guess black is supposed to be cool ( as in appearance ). I am 5'11", 132 lbs. and the small fits perfectly. Yeah, I'm a vegan -- what of it? Fast shipping and good packing. What more do you want? Get this jacket and be cool ( looking and comfort ). And keep your 'piece' at home. ;-)
