The boots are great! The only negative would be that the snaps are really tough to snap. I leave them snapped and then just use the laces. I also had to start wearing 2 pair of socks because the snaps dug into my ankle....small things though. I love the boots and Leather Up!
I ordered a size 7 and I am a true size 7 and I HAVE to wear two pair of socks. My feet are wide and these boots are wide even though they are noted as a M width. They are heavy and you will get a work out in your calves if you plan to walk around in them, but I felt they were comfortable from the beginning, I did buy gel inserts for them because sometimes I am on my feet for several hours when I wear them. I thought I might send them back when I first got them because I laced them all the way up and the top was not comfortable as there is no padding. READ the RETURN instructions before removing ANY tags. Since I was unable to return them because I broke to or three of the "rules", I found an alternate way to wear them; I use only the bottom hook and then wrap the laces around my ankle and tie them off. With my high socks on the top does not bother my calf or rub. I will get plenty of use and wear from these, but they are NOT my favorite pair of motorcycle boots I've ever owned. Don't wear socks you don't want stained, even after several wears of these boots they black dye is still bleeding onto my white socks.
I bought these for my daughter and of course I ordered the wrong size!
LeatherUp took them back and shipped the right size immediately.
They fit my daughter very well. She took her riders safety course in them the day after she got them.
Good fit, soft leather, great non-slip soles. Good boot, as are all the boots I have gotten from LeaterUp!
Thanks again,
Ros
This is my second pair of these boots. This is an excellent boot... rivals Harley boots. I get compliments ALL THE TIME! Love the zipper and the laces help keep them stiff on my ankel. I ride all year long, and put "Snow Seal" to condition them. Rain/cold is never an issue. Only Negatives are: They run slightly wide, the black will bleed on your socks for a while; My jeans will get snagged on the "X". I am going to order another pair to have ready. I wear a 6 and had to wait a while for the stock to return.
Words can not express how pleased I am with these boots!
They are TRUE to their size , comfortable and give me just that height I need to get a good grip when riding my Victory Crosscountry (I am 5'5" and need that extra footing)
Thank you Leather up!!!
As the other reviews have stated they do run larger for the size that you purchase. The boots do bleed on the socks. I have wore them only one time and did not like the fit. In fact I wore a sore on the outside of my right ankle. I couldn't walk far in them and switched into my tennis shoes when we would stop and walk any distance. Maybe wearing two pairs of socks would help. The snaps are hard to close. If I could return them I would.
love the boots! some interior linings bothered me on the first day of using it. after 1 day it broke in fine.
a bit on the heavy side but looks durable, comfortable and good for the purpose of riding.
nice looking too....price is inexpensive!
Theses boots seem to run a little large. I normally wear an 8, with a wide toe box and small heel. These were about as large as I could handle with a big pair of socks on. The boots themselves are very well made, nice looking, and seem like they will be very durable. They are heavy to wear but I liked the idea of the heavy soles and oil resistance. Great value.
Great quality and durability. Can't beat the price or the quality of boot. My wife loves these and they fit her great. Thanks LeatherUp
Really good looking boo - nice finish, not "girly" , nice zip, just good overall.. WIsh they came in a Wide Width. I had to return mine...81/2 seemed a bit small///no 9 nor 91/2 in stock. I rated durability 5 stars because I had to for a review..but I really have no idea since I returned them.
Very nice boots, except unless you wear heavy socks the snaps wear blisters onto you ankles. Very comfortable, except for the issue with the snaps.
I read the reviews before I ordering, and I should of just ordered my true size instead of going down a half size, got my true size now,and the boots fit perfect!
Ordering was easy and delivery quick. The price was right, the quality was good, and, most importantly, the fit was spot on. Couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. I'll certainly shop at Leather Up more in the future. Thanks!!!
They are as stated. Ordered them a little bigger to fit with socks on. They fit great, look great. Very nice quality. Service was awesome, delivery was fast! I am ordering most all of my riding stuff on this site.
Have only worn the boots once so far since the riding season is about to end soon. Wanted a boot to wear a heavier sock since I do ride when it's a bit colder. I usually take and 8 1/2 - 9 (closer to a 9) and ordered a size 9. They were roomy enough to wear a heavy sock without squashing my toes. The leather was a good quality, not too soft or too hard, and the sole had a good grip. Didn't feel like I needed to break them in. I never lace them to the very top since ankle high boots usually dig in. Only dislike was that once I tied the laces to have a secure fit, I couldn't use the zipper and snaps on the sides, unlike other boots that I've worn. Once you're in the boot you're in. O didn't want to have to use the laces every time but a small price to pay for the fit. I'd definitely order another boot in a different style for the spring riding season.
Not too sure about the durability yet but will give it a 5 anyway.
I love this boot! I read many reviews and did as suggested ordering 1/2 size smaller that what I normally wear. They are plenty roomy for a mid-heavy weight boot sock. Another reviewer mentioned the snap being hard to snap closed. I found this to be true as well, but what I like is that I don't have to unzip/snap the boot to get my foot in. I just loosen the laces and slid my foot inside. They are comfortable to walk in and I love the tread and oil resistent sole. I am thrilled with this purchase and will definitely be ordering more of this brand of boot.
The boots were great, had to send them back because they were too large.
I read reviews prior to ordering these boots and am overall satisfied with them. I normally have to order wide width or go up a size in most footwear but not with these. I ordered my true size and they fit well and allow for a heavy boot sock without being too snug nor sloppy on my feet. They appear to be well made. As for comfort I cant say as yet as Im still breaking them in. The only complaint I have about this boot is with the tongue and where it rubs into my ankle when my foot is flexed while riding. Hopefully time will soften this part of the boot and if not will trim away to suit. Shipping was fast and ordering process was painless.
My wife really likes the boots. A bit stiff at first, but breaking in. However, one of the male snaps on the boot where the flap snaps over the zipper was missing.
Personally I don't know how they fit, they were a gift. But she says they are great, both fit and comfort, of course I think the price is a pretty good fit. In a couple days I'll tell ya how they fit for her but from experience if they fit like my riding boots do or my leather pants or jacket or etc. they will be just fine. Yep, I buy a lot from Leather Up, the quality is primo and the prices can't be beat. Even if the prices weren't so good I'd still buy here my style mostly. Granted there are some fruity looking items but I don't buy or want those but the rest are exactly what we all wear. I've sent many guys here to buy and now they don't go back to their custom shop anymore.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
