As far as quality, these are spot on for the price. My brother could not believe that they are real leather! My only issue with them, and I'm REALLY surprised no one else has mentioned this, are the front POCKETS! They go clear down to my KNEES!! I assumed that this HAD TO BE an issue that the "Quality Control" department missed in a BIG way!! I called LeatherUp Customer Service about this, and they told me that this bizarre anomaly is NORMAL - that they are ALL like this... I have to take my jacket off to be able to get my arm all the way to the bottom of the pocket to get change and/or KEYS!!! All the way to my ELBOW just to pull my keys out!! Too bad I don't have the arms of an Orangutan!! It would be MUCH easier!! Fortunately, I have a seamstress that will be able to close off the pockets to the same depth as NORMAL pants... I TRULY can't believe that NO ONE else has written in about this issue. The fact that no one has but me, tells me that these ARE factory defective, but they didn't want to do anything about it... Frankly, this is the only issue I've had with LeatherUp. Their products and service have always been top-notch. This particular one has me a bit disappointed though.... If there is ANYONE out there that has purchased these pants and had the same issue of POCKETS ALL THE WAY TO THE KNEES, please let me know with a reply!!

I purchased one each of these pants (Classic Fitted) and the Classic Loose Fit. I wear a 38 inch waist normally and ordered a 40 in both pair of leather pants. The fit was just fine for both. The difference I found in these two pants is the height of the waist. The Classic Loose Fit has the higher waist. I like the higher waist better, but I know others may like the lower waist (Classic Fitted) better. Maybe this will help someone trying to decide which of these two pants to order.

I'm usually a 36"W 34"L when I buy jeans. I went with the suggested size up of 38. The 25" thigh is perfect and the 35" inseam is perfect for riding without pulling the cuff up off my boots. The waist is a little large but leaves me room for an IWB CCW without pinching. I hope they don't stretch out at all over time, then there may be an issue. Great quality, the weight is perfect for motorcycle wear, not too heavy for just walking around in. Pockets are nice and deep for keeping things where they should be.

2nd pair of these pants from leatherup - lost weight and required smaller. Difficult to beat the price - truly a bargain for what they cost. I like them quite well but have two issues relevant to both pants I have. The rise of the pants is short on me, workable, but short/low slung. Also, the belt loops are barely adequate to use a 1.5" belt width, which I view as standard size for a riding belt with jeans - and yes, I bought them to ride in. Ordered one size lager than my waist size and I can wear these stand alone or over jeans/shorts - excellent. Easy to cut for length; I then formed and glued a 1" hem to fit. If there's a better value for leathers than leatherup.com I sure would be intrigued to know about it - excellent value!

This was the second pair I bought the last one were for me when I was 350lbs now at 220 I needed another set, I ordered the wrong size Im a 34 in pants so thought 34 leather would work? NOPE needed a 36 they fit great , So definitely take the advice of all who say buy a size up from your normal pant size. Shipping took a while but here in CALI don't really need them until weather chills again. However they will be my primary pant in August when I'm heading to Sturgis, so they will be worn just about every day during the 3-4 day rides there and back and around SD. The products I have bought over the last 7-8 years have been as described and of very good quality. thank you, and your prices compare to those leather sales places that frequent the rally's "laughlin, Vegas, and bike weeks all over.
