Excellent jacket for the price. Yes, it is heavy, but not noticeable when wearing it. My XL fits me very well...5-10 and a svelte 235 lbs. It seemed too small at first but it is only snug and fits better after 10 or more wears. Vents are very well placed and work really well. The sleeves seemed long but work just right when on the bike. I like this jacket much better than my fabric jackets. Thanks Leather up...another great product.
Nice jacket for the most part. Had to send back because one of the zippers didn't work and some of the zippers/buttons had rust as if the jacket had been sitting a while. Fit well though.
Very nice Jacket. Fits well. not stiff like most new leather jacket even with the pads in.
When I took the liner out the first time, the patch of leather that the sleeve snap was sewn in to pulled right out. Fit is very large, I am between a 42 an 44 and the XL is several inches too long in the sleeve and shoulders. Looks great, rides nice and cool, feels good, just make sure it's gonna fit!
I love my coat. I am really quite pleased with the quality and the stitching. I'm 6/1 - 250lbs. and the 2x fits great. Would've been five stars, but the sleeves are too long. Other than that though could not not be more satisfied...exactly the style and feel I was going for!
Cannot say enough about the quality of this jacket and the price! Not only is it well made, it is one good looking jacket! Purchased it for my son after doing some local shopping. Because of the price, I was prepared to be disappointed - most of the jackets we looked at were at least $100 more. Not disappointed at all! Absolutely satisfied. We've ordered two more items since. Leather up is our new home for bike gear!
I was pleased with the fit, quality and look of this jacket. I am 6 fee tall 180 pounds and the medium was a great fit. No back armor or zipper for pants was a minor disappointment. Pockets are larger than I expected which is a nice surprise. An unbeatable value for the price.
Excellent jacket and fit. Very heavy and rugged. Be carefull with the inside pockets- keep them buttoned or stuff will fall out.
Nice jacket. The large is large. I'm 5'9" and 165lbs and the large is pretty big on me with a LOT of room to move. The arms are just right, and the perforated leather keeps you cool on daytime rides, but in the morning, it was getting a bit chilly after an hour or so (50 degree). I liked the striping, and how heavy the leather is.
I have three jackets prior to this Xelement. This is better than all of my three. I love it, love it! Great quality leather and fit me perfectly! I ordered a L and that was too big had to return it for a M. I'm 5' 7" and 170# jacket is just awesome looking and fitting.
I have worn this jacket for six months (Riding). It is very comfortable and durable. I've worn it in temps as low as 32 degrees with a cheap fleece jacket underneath and have been warm. The only cold air I could feel was through the arm vents which is to be expected. The liner that is included with the jacket is not adequate for very cold weather, but was fine for late fall. During the warm spring weather in Atlanta, The vents have been adequate for staying cool. However, I doubt it will be the case during the hot summer. After reading the reviews, I ordered a X-Large instead of the large I normally wear and it fit perfectly. The armor is not really noticeable and provides an extra degree of safety. I also ordered the women's jacket of the same type for my wife and she shares my views. The only negative was a small amount of fabric was frayed on the left arm vent zipper. This in no way affected the function of the jacket and was not noticeable. I have had many compliments on the look and fit of the jacket from other riders. The jacket is somewhat heavy but not noticeable while worn. I do not see the weight as a negative because of the added safety of the thick leather and armor. The collar is comfortable, and the snaps, and zippers are of high quality and have functioned flawlessly. A comparable H-D jacket would cost in excess of $300.00 at my local dealer. I highly recommend this jacket.
Absolutely the best product for such a reasonable price. I normally wear an XL and it fit perfectly.
Great jacket, good fit, looks sharp. I'm 6'2" and 175lbs and the medium fits great with room for a hoody underneath. The "silver stripe" accents are darker and really more grey than the pic suggests, which was a plus for me, looks real good. One weird thing I found was the description says "buffalo leather" and the tag on the jacket itself said "cow", but whatever.
Overall, great jacket for the price for sure.
wow. what a nice jacket. very heavy. when you put it on you feel safe and secure. liner comes out easy and it will be super warm when winter comes around. the only problem is...it's just too heavy for vegas in august...oh well... I am 5-11 and 183 pounds with broad shoulders...i got a large...fits very good. i usually wear an extra large, so keep that in mind. Leather Up rocks. super fast shipping. ordered on a saturday, got it tuesday
Very nice jacket, im 5'9" 165 with slender build, ordered a medium and theres plenty of room for a hoodie underneath even with the liner in. I likely could have fit a small but even a med isn't baggy...just a little extra in the biceps and the sleeves are a bit longer than I would have preferred. Other random tidbit: the cuffs are very snug on mr even without gloves, makes a good wind seal. Overall a very good jacket at an excellent price for what you get. Feels well built and little features are nice. Mesh lining/armor pockets feel a little cheap but functions as it should so far!
A solid jacket all around and unbeatable for the price point. I'm 6'2" 210lbs and fit well into an XL with room for a hoodie underneath. The mesh inside between the lining and jacket can be a little fragile and may catch on a watch going in and out of the sleeve, but that is my only complaint.
A great boot. They were a little tight, but after a good stretch they fit much better. The size is right on !! Very comfortable and not to heavy. Great for riding.
The boot was a little tight at first then within hours felt like I was wearing bedroom slippers. They are so comfortable and feel great.
received my boots today. the good first. they look great. they fit true to size. okay thats over. they say they are leather. the tag says they are leather. but i don't believe it. they don't smell like leather or feel like leather. i have a 3 year old leather jacket that still has more leather smell than these boots. the upper portion of the boot is way big around the calf. i have them laced up to where the eyelids touch and they are still to big around my calf. the foot area is comfortable and fit good. i put hubbard boot oil on them and the oil wouldn't soak into the boot. hmmmmm leather????? after i let it sit on the boot over night nothing. i then but leather balm conditioner on them and still nothing. you would never know that I put anything on these boots. never had a boot do this before with either product. other than that they seem like a good boot. haven't worn them yet to ride in. the boot is soft so wondering if it does loosen up after wearing if they are going to be to big. i guess as the saying goes you get what you pay for. i bought a pair of harley boots 2 years ago for about the same price on sale. and they still have a good leather smell and have a nice worn in leather look. anyway i will keep them just cause i don't want to shipped them back. and who knows maybe they are just so low grade leather the will last. I have my doubts. I don't know if any of this will help you on your decision. but i guess for the money they are okay.
Comfortable right out of box and feel light weight. Had several compliments on looks.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
