What is up with the sizing? I'm a 8.5 in normal shoes, 9 in boots. Based on reviews here I went with a 8.5 in these boots. Straight out of the box, the boot was too loose in the ankles, just way too big overall except for the length. Felt perfect standing but once I started walking I realized the lenght was too short and my toes were squished. For reference I have narrow feet and longish toes so I probably should have gone with a 9.
I tightened up the ankle strap to the first hole, that helped, I may add another hole, it could be tighter. Thick socks help with the ankle problem but not the lenght. I got inserts that are thick at the heel and get thinner and just cut off the toes. My toes are still squished but wearable. 4 months now and I've worn them in plently, unfortunately the cramped toes mean I can only wear it for short duration of time :(

I have wanted to buy these boots for months! But with the reviews I didn't know what size to buy. So after months of tossing it around I bought a half size smaller. I got an 8.5 instead of 9 and was sooo excited when they came. They were too small. I couldn't believe it! I returned them for an exchange and they have no more 9 in stock. I'm so disappointed. I paid $14.00 for the return shipping and I paid $67.90 for the boots and got refunded $59.95. So I'm out $21.95 and no boots. I really loved the look and feel of them. They were just too small. So ladies I would suggest getting the size you normally wear. I don't understand the reviews at all! Except that the boots are fantastic. I hope I can get some soon.

These boots are very nice looking and heavy duty. I normally wear a 9, so I bought an 8 as per suggested and they fit great.
My daughter LOVES her boots! They fit perfectly and she's a hard one to please! They also shipped very quickly even though it was around the holidays so customers come first! I'll most definately be back!!
Love these boots! I ordered my regular size that I would order in a boot and they fit great. My heel does slide out but I tightned up the strap and it helped. I love them and wear them with everything. Shipping was very fast also. This is my new leather store for sure.

Absolutely excellent boot for the money, and easily equal to those three times its cost; I am with some of the other reviewers who say it runs a little big, though--I have tightened the strap and wear thick socks, and all is mostly fine. But the leather is good quality, the soles are thick and good, I'm very happy with these, and glad to find this site!
The leather is thick and the soles are sturdy with good grip. And I like the looks of these boots. But unless I'm wearing very think socks, I find them very difficult to put on and take off. The socks always fall off when I pull off the boots. Then once they are on my feet, my feet are swimming in them. I have wide feet. I frequently by shoes in widths C/D, W, or even WW. But heels and toes are sliding around inside the boot. Also, there isn't any kind of lining. In the toe area, the inside of the leather feels very sticky and is chafing my toes. I am returning these the day after they arrived and going to try the Xelement Women's Advanced Dual Strap Leather Boots with Vibram Sole.
Excellent quality boot. Perfect height for wearing with knee-length black jeans skirt. I ordered one size down, but due to the width and extremely high toe box, could have ordered two sizes down. But that would have made my feet look too short and fat. I'll put in thick felt insoles so my feet don't swim around in them.
I purchased these for my wife in a size 7.5 based on the reviews of the boot running a bit large. They were too small. So we exchanged them (with no problem) for her size (8) and they are perfect. She loves the style and the fit. NOTE: When rating items to wear please state the size YOU wear versus the size you purchased as some footwear and garments fit differently from size to size. This would be EXTREMELY more helpful in the majority of the reviews here.
I really like the look of these boots, but be warned, they are VERY wide. A little clunky on my narrow foot, but I've gotten LOTS of compliments on them. I haven't walked any great distance in them yet. I'll probably put some insoles in them before I do. Excellent quality, though. Definitely a great buy for the money.

Cute, cute boots! I ordered my normal size. Some reviews said they run large, some small. These boots were too small for me in the instep area... Could not get them on. Perhaps if they had a zipper. I had to send them back and get a pair with a zipper.

LOVE THESE BOOTS.... I bought them half a size smaller than I usually wear based on the reviews. I may have been able to go down a whole size but Im not sure. they are an amazing value and really stylish
I really adore these boots but I won't lie - getting the fit right was really hard for me , so maybe I can help someone else . I normally take an 8.5 in shoes and boots but where some reviews said they ran large , others said they were true to size so I ordered my usual size . They were HUGE ! My heal didn't come close to the back . I finally settled on the size 7 and even those are a bit big but I didn't want to go any smaller because I want to put insoles in them . I know now that the problem is that I have very narrow/thin feet , so please consider this when ordering . They are super comfy once you find the right size , but if you've got feet like mine , size down at least 1.5 sizes .
I love these boots! Can't believe I only paid $60 total! And got them in 4 days. Got a half size smaller & have room for inner soles & heavy socks. They are also extremely comfortable. I wore these all day the first time. And they look amazing. Got lots of compliments. Planning to order a jacket next week.
its winter here in ny so havent used them.was lied to abt delivery date...i had to pick them up myself 45 mins away because they were a Christmas gift and the person was home the day (saturday)they were suppose to b delivered.when i ordered them it said delivery was mon thru thurs,NOT SATURDAY.i had 2 make arrangements to have it delivered to a fed ex and then pick it up on monday dec 23,45mins from my house.
I love the look of these boots. Went with my regular size 7. Fit fine. Do have trouble getting them on. There is a bit of a "lip" by the heal that's annoying. Hoping they just need time to break in. It's been many years since I had a new pair of leather boots. Not incredibly comfortable, but for the money they are good.
