Ok so I just got this jacket from the fedex people and at first it didnt seem heavy but when i tried it on, it was a decent weight jacket. I am a little below 5'8" and medium fit perfect on me. Im medium built at 165lbs. I wasnt sure if medium would be good but it fit nice and just the right amount looseness. It is nicely made and feels durable. Leather smell nice and lining proved warm, its a good thickness too. There is fabric on the arm as you can see in the pic. Now dont be fooled because the fabric is nice and thick so it'll definitely keep you warm. The vents are long and have fabric webbing so its not just a hole. Overall very satisfied with the jacket. Beats buying fabric jacket from motorycycle store that run for the same price.

I tried to work with the customer service at Leather Up as I received a discount email the next day after I ordered. They were very uncooperative and handled the situation poorly even when I tried to work with a supervisor. It will be interesting to see if the neoprene on the sleeves is weather resistant. I did not notice this till I received the jacket. The Jacket runs very small. I ordered a 3X and had to remove the most of the armor to get it comfortable. Overall, a bad experience compared to prior purchases!!

I have a 47" chest, 40" waist, 6'1" tall and weigh 240. Bought this as a cold weather jacket. I usually take a 2XL but ordered a 3XL to wear a sweatshirt under it. No way. Ordered the 5XL and that just works but the sleeves in the foreearms are quite snug and I ain't built like Popeye! Very heavy jacket but has neoprene insert on the inside of the arms which allows for flexibility but also allows some air to penetrate. Jacket has warm liner in torso and good length in back to prevent drafts. Neck snap is tight on 18" neck with shirt. Side pockets placed too far back so it's hard to get into them. The large armor spine plate shifts around within jacket so I don't know where it would be if you took a spill and slid on your back. Overall, worth the money. Service was fast.

First off, the jacket has good protection and breathability. I'm 6'4" and if you're tall like me it's a little short, barely long enough that I decided to keep it. Shoulders bag out a little while riding. Leatherup.com may have the best price, but were hard to deal with. They shipped it about a week after I ordered, and only after I called to confirm my billing and shipping address, so it took way too long to get here. They have the best price though, so choose your poison. If you're average height, this is probably the jacket for you!

i must say that i have ordered several items from LU and havent been dissappointed yet the jacket is well made alittle snugg i ordered a 4 xl and i wear a 2xl tall it feels a little tight in the upper arm and sholder section which i think will soften up with wear for a more relax fit all in all you couldn't even come close to the price vs qaulity ratio hands down the best leather padded vented jacket on the market to date period!!! excellent buy very satisfied

Very nice jacket with a couple of caveats:

I am 5'10", 44" chest, 30" waist, 17" arms and the large fits well, wearing like a medium, except for the arms which are very tight, and the forearms feel almost like a tourniquet. I stuffed them overnight with folded towels and the day after I could actually wear the jacket and retain circulation in my hands, however, only one layer of long sleeves can be worn under.

On the other hand, the jacket is warm enough to require no more than a couple of t-shirts in 50 degrees weather.

There is only one inside pocket, unsecured, though it runs vertically and fairly deep, so nothing should spill out.

I was very impressed with how quickly I received my order! Also, the jacket is just as the description makes it to be. The only thing I was concerned of was a small stain on the sleeve, but the customer service line was able to help me with whatever I needed even if they had to pay for the shipment back to the warehouse which ended up being unnecessary. This jacket was actually a gift to someone and to his surprise it was not over $200!!! He couldn't believe it. Great website, I will be recommending it to any bike owners I know :)
