My wife bought a half helmet with a visor last year. I wear a non-dot small half helmet.

Wanted to get a better helmet & maybe even with a visor. I am not a fan of heavy helmets

& I was very concerned about this one. Well, I have been pretty well suprised ! Doesn't look

bad on & feels pretty comfortable for a (real)helmet. Leatherup got it to me pretty quick & reading

everyone else reviews of this company, I gave it a shot. So far, I am a happy biker.

Nice helmet. Packaged real well and comes with a helmet cover. After reading some of the reveiws about fitment I ordered the recommended size as the reveiws I read stated that the helmet was true to size. I measured my head and it measured 57.3cm. I ordered a medium which is suppose to fit 57 - 58cm's. The helmet is a little tight. It may break in and fit fine only time will tell. I think a large would be a little to large. There is a soft inner lining that rest on your forehead however there is a thin mesh band that separated the soft band from the rubber mounting piece and the mesh feels like sandpaper against you forehead. Hopefully that will break in and get softer as I wear the helmet. The only other thing is the chin strap. It is way too long. I don't mind the two "D" rings but the strap is so long I will probably buy a quick disconnect and cut the strap so it is not as long. I thnk if everything works out it will be a great helmet.

My head and my wife's measure 23". She got the skull/butterfly helmet and i got the flat black. They are slightly snug but not uncomfortable. After a while i expect them to wear in and be about perfect.

I am liking this helmet. Not quite as light as a Nolan half helmet I had that was stolen but pretty close. You can't go wrong here for the price. The sizing chart is pretty accurate.

Leather-up got the helmets to me about 2 days ahead of schedule and in perfect shape. You can't ask for better service.

I like the helmet, but there are two issues of which potential buyers should be aware. The chin strap is plain old nylon in a D-ring and it tends to loosen even during a moderate ride. Never had a problem, but it really tries to lift badly off my head. The second issue is that after a year, the outer shell is starting to get quite tacky and shiny. Some areas near the top are actually gummy!. This seems to be a surface finish problem, and I don't think safety is compromised, but it is a pain when stuff (paper, feathers, leaves) starts sticking to your hat!! Although I actually like it, I don't think I would replace the helmet with the exact same one.

I have the Marine Corps version of the T-70 in XL and I love it, fits great!. However, I ordered the same size in this helmet and it was too tight. I would have ordered a larger size but the plastic in the forehead area was hard and uncomfortable. I was also worried that the 2XL would be too large. After $15 to return it, I'm going with a helmet that doesn't have a built-in visor. If the next helmet doesn't fit I will start buying them at a store where I can try them on. I shouldn't have to pay half the price of a helmet to return it because it's not true to size.

After looking at the reviews I ordered a medium thinking it would fit. It was way too big. I am shipping it back debating if I should exchange it for a smaller size. Comparing it to a more expensive helmet, the quality is far from good or great. As they say, you get what you pay for. The sun visor does not work that well as it hits my glasses. Maybe its just my head, ha ha, who knows. The finish looks great. As far as the size chart, its not accurate at all. Its probably a good deal for the price. The problem I have is the additional cost to ship it back. It makes a $45.00 helmet $60.00. The size charts need to be much more accurate. It is the same issue I have found with all the products I have orderd. I still like the company and will continue to use them.
