i have a LS2 helmet that is LARGE and fits perfect. The added padding in the chrome helmet makes the large a bit snug. Wish we had ordered a larger size, but the grand kids absolutely love it.
Only thing that would make it better would be a quick release strap.
Of course, I love the drop down visor. I wouldn't buy a helmet without one.

As usual, LeatherUp.com delivered as promised. The helmets fit great and are excellent for summer riding. Although the visor is off center as stated in another review, I have no complaints. LeatherUp continues to fill my riding needs without a hitch!
Arrived at the time leather up said it would...THANKS. The interior slipped out when taking the helmet off the second time, easy fix though. A little bit of a snug fit/wasn't quite sure I ordered the proper size, but after wearing it a few times, viola...it fits like a glove! The visor's a bit high when put down, but it works for the most part. I'm liking the helmet!! Love the crome finish, it DOES keep the heat off. Thanks!
This is my second Outlaw T-72 Chrome helmet, I just liked the first one so well I wanted to have another one because I keep my bikes in two different garages and now I don't have to wear my black helmet. I have ordered from Leatherup.com for a couple of years now and I am always happy after receiving the things that I order. the quality for the price is awesome, Thanks again, Jim

These are excellent helmets. I get a lot of comments.i think they are different and stand out.mirrors helmets are awesome.my trike has a lot of chrome and the mirror helmets goes with it. Give it 5 stars
The helmet looks and feels well made, the fit is right as ordered and it looks great.
An added benefit with this helmet is it's quality to reflect light during night riding.
This was my first purchase through LeatherUp, it will not be my last! Love these helmets. I ordered one for myself and one for my husband. These are super cool and very comfortable. I ordered one size larger than suggested by the size chart and they fit great. The drop down smoke shield is a really nice feature, kind of reminds me of the cop in the first Terminator movie! Anyway, back to the review. The chin strap is very comfortable and the and the double d-ring keeps it in place. We chose the chrome design for several reasons: it's unusual, our bike is chromed out so it matches, and we hope it adds an extra safety feature so we'll be seen day/night. One final thing, the price- No Way you'll walk out of the Harley store with two DOT approved helmets for under $100!
Great helmet for the price. Pull down shield works well, finish is great, Fits nicely. D Ring retention straps are a little difficult to tighten but not an issue.
This helmet was on sale for $29>95 and I swooped in on it! Very pretty, fit is good. It stretched out to make a near perfect fit. Shipping was really fast and free ! I'm talking 4 days and FREE!!! I can't speak about durability; I've had it a month. It looks great and my girlfriend wants one for X-mas !

I obtained this item from Leatherup a few weeks back. I had ordered a size smaller a couple of months ago but it was out of stock. Leatherup notified me by Email when my size was available (a nice feature of Leatherup, IMO).
First--size. These helmets as others have posted run small, so order one a size larger than what you'd ordinarily take. Also, be aware (it is in the instructions) that the helmet will take a couple of wearings at least to adjust to your head.
PROS
- Excellent fit once broken in. Padding is comfortable.
- Good finish--chrome is really bright.
- Rides well even at higher speeds. No tendency to get wind underneath and push it up on your head.
- Helmet strap is secure. No tendency to loosen while riding.
- Light--after a few minutes you''re not even aware you're wearing it.
CONS
- Chin strap is hard to put on and take off--much more so than other helmets. This helmet comes with a piece of nylon cloth sewn on one of the chrome rings on the strap, apparently to keep it tight with friction. I cut that off after a couple of wearings; it is now somewhat easier to take on and off and still no sign of the strap loosening during a ride.
- The flip-down visor is nice in theory but doesn't work out so well in practice. If you wear glasses--forget it. The visor impacts the glasses and though you might be able to force the visor down over the glasses it would be VERY uncomfortable to do so.
- Not enough time yet to comment on durability.
Overall this is a good helmet especially considering the price. Additionally Leatherup's Customer Service considering I had to return the helmet and get a larger one, was exemplary. I am well-satisfied with it.
Love the look of the helmet. The pull down smoke shield could be longer. Chin strapis hard to fasten, hopefully will get easier with use. All in all for the money is a good buy.
I bought two of these, my wife likes hers and I like mine. I think we have been wearing these for like 3 years and a huge advantage, as others have noted, the chrome helps keep the heat off of your head! This was one reason I wanted chrome and it works.
The drop down visor works very well. The only thing is it is not dark enough for me. If I would be able to improve this skid lid, I would be able to install the old school visor on this as I rode with them all my life and miss it. Maybe one other thing to improve would be a storm curtain for cold weather around your neck.
A good value to save your melon. goes with my chrome chopper.
Love this helmet, fits perfect and is very pretty. Looks great with the chrome on my bike! I normally wear a medium in full-face helmets. It was suggested getting a size smaller then a full-face so I ordered a small and yes, it fits perfectly. The pull down visor works as should and has a nice dark tint for these sunny Florida days.
Bought this one for my wife. It fits great and she really likes it. She has had many compliments on it. The price was a lot lower than we expected. Also.bought a USMC half helmet you can not believe how many people have really liked everything about. My Marine buddies are thinking about purchasing it. Told them to go to Leatherup.com to buy. What a great price on top of that. Will be doing more shopping with you soon.
