Just received my "chrome dome". It looks awesome. I we torn between ordering a M or a L because my head measured just over 58. I went with the Med after reading reviews and it fits perfect. Glad I didn't go with the Lg.

This helmet is pretty and great for hot-weather riding. The drop-down shield is nice, but doesn't reach very far down. I've found that the strap is way too long and the D-ring system is difficult to thread. So I have to leave it "ringed up" and slip it over my head to save time (because when the riding bug bites, I gotta go fast!). The snap for the long strap is cheap plastic.
I ordered a medium (which is what my two HJC helmets are), and now that it's broken in a bit it's a little loose so I have to strap it tight. So probably size down if you are in between sizes.
I received my helmet yesterday and it fit perfectly. I noticed the helmet liner does not fit the helmet properly; it looks like they have used a liner for an XL helmet in a L helmet. The result is about 1/2 inch fold in the fabric near the right ear cup. This doesn't cause any fit or function issues; so, what the hell? The drop down visor started to malfunction after I cycled it up and down about 4 times. I can see this will be an issue, and I am debating whether or not to send the helmet back. Normally, I would, but I would have to pay shipping on the item, and it will probably be roughly 50% of the cost of the helmet; so, I think I'll keep the helmet. The chin strap does not pull smoothly through the D rings, and it is difficult to get a snug fit. Not the end of the world, but another little thing to deal with. On the up side, the helmet looks great, especially with the airfoil goggles; so, all is not lost.
The helmet fit small when I first used it but fits better now. Chin strap is a joke. You cannot use the drop down smoke shield if you wear glasses. Nice finish on chrome and is not as hot as my black helmet. If you wear glasses I would not recommend buying this helmet
I'm a perfectionist. I love it when I find products from people who care ... Chrome look helmet is like polished glass, only real metal chrome could beat the look. Do not know why they state "ALL STICKERS NON REMOVABLE" when they easily come off under a stream of hot water. Outlaw helmets all seem to share one problem however as other outlaws i've owned all do the same thing ... the D rings are sharp rather than rounded off so the edges bite into the strap as you try to tighten it under your chin ... impossible unless you kind of space the rings apart as you pull the strap between both of them ... round them off with a Dremyl or similar rotary tool to make the strap slide through easier.
Very good looking and easy to use. The snaps positions are adjustable making it more likely to fit most 3 snappers.
Helmet arrive in perfect condition as expected, fit is right, overall a good buy.
I like it. Looks awesome! Tends to want to "wander up" if your haulin' but down here in the Keys top speed limit technically is 55... so I don't really know how I'd know that.... May want to add some clear or amber glasses underneath. Great deal though! Thanks Leatherup!
The only problem I had was with the shipping. The post office took 14 days to deliver a first class delivery. I will never have the post office deliver another pa mage coming g through the Los Angeles

I had this on a 2200 mile trip and it was a great feature in the sun and rain. However, as others have stated after repeated use it doesn't stay down at high speeds. Got to be a pain moving around until i created my own detent for it. then loved it again. I would still recommend additional eye protection at high speed due to winds wipping around shield. but most importantly, do not leave up while riding: acts as a speed brake and pulls head back

The shield works great on blocking the sun, like the 3 snaps adjustment. One thing I found out is that at high rate of speed the shield doesn't stay down, you need to put something on the visor as that the shield snaps on it, so it won't flip up. That's speeds above 45 mph.

I bought these because I have forward controls and of coarse the wind would push my pants up. Not any more!! The fit is great and they look great!! On colder days they keep the colder out more so than with out.
Fits right on my GMax. No problem at 70 -75 MPH riding with a "sport wind screen" (level with my chin. i.e. The product does not tend to be caught by the wind and be lifted off the indent..
Keep the sun out of your eyes and night time Glair out, And bugs and dirt and wind and move up and down..
Shield looks amazing on a 3 snap helmet. But, from past experience, you'll be replacing it with another one if it drops accidentally.
Great quality for the money. Pendant is heavy and elastic seems like it will last a wile. Only had a them a few weeks but it solves the problem of my pant leg riding up when I use my highway pegs.
The pant bungees perform very well. My pants would ride up just over my boot when using the cruiser pegs & I'd be bending down to wiggle the pant cuff back down. Not the safest act. The bungees are the perfect answer to the problem. Great grip & quick & easy to put on & take off. Not sure just yet how long they'll last , but seem to be made well. I'll be buying another pair for sure!
