The company has garnered a solid reputation for product quality and value, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their purchases, particularly in terms of craftsmanship and timely delivery. However, customer service experiences reveal a significant concern regarding slow response times and difficulties in handling returns and refunds. While some customers eventually received resolutions, the inconsistency in support has led to frustration. Overall, while the company excels in product offerings, enhancing the efficiency and responsiveness of customer service would greatly improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Recieved helmet today, its just as shiney as my Deuce. Great looking helmet. I was skeptical about the size, but I followed the sizing chart, and it was dead on, perfect fit. Wore it on a short ride to work, and I almost forgot it was on when I arrived. Thanks leatherup for another great purchase and price.
Really takes the heat off your head when you are going to spend a lot of time in direct sunlight. Tested this fact at Rolling Thunder 2012 and rode 400 miles to Virginia Beach and back in nothing but direct, hot sunlight. Makes sense, black helmets absorb light=heat, white helmet better, chrome helmet best at reflecting light/heat.
The drop down visor is very nice when you are riding before sunrise with clear lenses and the sunrise finds you. Visor lets you keep your clear glasses on underneath but the tab is a little difficult to grab with gloves on as you ride into the sunrise. On mine, the nose notch doesn't line up perfectly with my nose. I've considered the possibility that my head is crooked but the internal lining also doesn't seem to be lined up (oriented) correctly with the shell. That being said, it still works and my nose does still fit under the misalignment of the visor.
The padded "V" strap over each ear is very wide in case you are concerned about the size of your cheek tan lines. The strap stays put at the tention you select and there is an end strap button to secure the loose end.
Sizing: I applied the rule of going one size smaller than my full face helmet size and the helmet fit fine. Very comfortable with a lot of padding inside.
I wanted a black helmet but they were out of stock and had to choose the chrome one. But I'm glad that I went with the chrome one. A lot of people liked the look of the chrome helmet when I showed it to them and I think it gives me a Mad Max, Judas Priest sort of a look, so I really dig this helmet! Chrome is awesome!
Very comfortable, easy to fasten, and true to size. Plus, I LOVE the drop down smoke shield!
Though I prefer a 3/4 helmet for safety, this helmet is DOT approved and great for hot weather riding.
First, I'll say I was skeptical about ordering a 'large' for my fat head, but according to the measurement chart, that was what was suggested. It fits as if it had been molded to my skull! I wear eyeglasses and the the visor is awesome! I do wish they'd come out with a polarized version, though. The chrome finish is superb and is far cooler on hot days than the flat black I'd been wearing. It's showing a few tiny nicks here and there from road grit, but at the price, I can see ordering a new one every season as long as they don't change anything about it. Even the strap was well thought out with no need to completely disconnect it from the D-rings. The light weight of it is a relief, too. Shipping was mind-blowing fast! Customer for life!
The Good: Looks great, keeps me cool, pretty lightweight. The Bad: Runs a bit smaller than stated in sizing guide. Chin strap rings have squared edges, making it difficult to tighten (and loosen). Visor is great for sunny days, and not so dark that you couldn't use it evenings, however it does direct the air under and into your eves. Suggest buying goggles, and only using visor for low speed riding... anything over 40, and your eyes will water so bad you won't be able to see... For the price it's not bad, but knowing that the visor is pretty worthless I would have bought the Bell Chrome Half Helmet for $25 (Item: #Bandito-Chrome).
Helmet was just as advertised. Since my size was between the M and L I opt for the M. Probably should have gone with the L, my mistake.
Helmet fits good but the drop down shield is distorted right in the middle of my field of view. If I were a reptile It would not be a problem. A little buffeting but not a real issue on a goldwing.
This is my third helmet and is great for summer riding! The chrome reflects the sun off the helmet and it stays cooler than my dark helmets which are superb for cooler weather. Great helmet at a great price!
Looks good and well made not had a chance to use it much yet Bike being worked on so not much riding in but so far so good and i hate helmets.
This is one snazzy helmet. I wasn't too thrilled with having to do the responsible thing and sport a hat, but honestly, I forget that it's on. The chrome look is sharp and wipes clean after each ride. It doesn't sit real high on your head and it's comfortable. The visor is worthless but I don't use it anyway. The "removable" stickers were a bear to get off and I needed goo gone, but that part's over now. The red snap I colored with a black sharpie so I don't have to see that either. It's a great price.
Great quality, very comfortable and very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a chrome helmet this is the one to get, period.
Nice helmet. Very stylish. Love the dark in-built visor. Looks cool and fits well.
Thanks for a wonderful product at a great price Leatherup.
Bought two of these, one for my wife, one for me. Since I'm folically challenged I figured I might as well represent my "chrome dome" while riding! Great price and I like that others see me! The drop down shield is a bit stiff to pull down with gloves but it works great - took a large bug off the lense the other day with no impact. Lots of compliments from other riders.
The fit of this helmet is perfect and I love the visor! It's dark enough for daytime use, but not so dark that you can't use it during night rides. I wear script glasses and it's nice to not have to always put my contacts in to wear another pair of glasses to ride. I love the visibility it gives me. I'm a photographer and the added bonus is that you can take some incredible shots into the helmet. I've gotten many compliments from other riders.
Bought one for the wife and myself. The fit is perfect and the visor is the bomb. If you wear glasses then this is for you. I would definately recomend you buy this helmet. The wife likes the chrome because she can see behind her looking at the back of my helmet. Must have!
would give this 5 stars but the drop down sunscreen is hard to operate with gloves on. The size chart was correct and the shipping was pretty fast. This is a nice lightweight helmet and goes over my perscription glasses very easily.
It's shiny. Fit's well but the visor is stiff, OK, it's new. The visor also hit's my glasses when putting on, I can pull it down over the glassesand no other problems.
It seems to help me very much. I was having trouble wih the glare of the sun and needed something to help me see without holding my hand over my eyes. It works better than the sunglasses I had and the visor really helps.
I'm a fan. The helmet arrived in excellent condition; boxed and packaged to protect and ensure flawless condition; and delivered amazingly FAST. I questioned the sizing guide, but followed it anyway, and the fit is perfect. The retractable shield works great, especially early mornings and evenings when heading right into the sun. It adds the little extra sun protection to be safe.
Love, Love,Love it.. Drop down visor was the deciding feature for me. Other brands of "chrome domes" just didn't cut it. This one feels substantial and yet not heavy at the same time. The chin straps are much better than another one I bought (and returned) from another company. Ride everyday rain or shine -the drop down visor is a great rain shield for keeping my eyeglasses "dry".
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
