This helmet is awesome. I would go one size up. I didn't and had to send mine back. LeatherUp exchanged with no questions asked. One bad thing is on BOTH helmets, the little padded "U" that snaps in under the chin...was deformed. almost like the snaps are just a little to far apart. This causes the plastic to bow out away from the chin guard and the pad would not secure correctly. One snap just wouldn't snap. Also the helmet is noisy at highway speed for sure. However, the reason you are buying this is the flip all the way back feature and it WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. solid snap when lowering. also nice little snap effect on lowering the clear shield as well.

Due to the characteristics of the helmet, it seems a little bulky in appearance than other helmets that do not have the modular system. However it doesn't weight any more than other helmets that I've tried on and the major reason I bought it was for the modular design features which are awesome if you ask me. I had no problem determining sizing due to shopping locally and finding out what sizes fit me the best. The helmet shipped in pristine condition and I didn't see any distortion problems with the flip down sun shield that other reviewers griped about. It's a nice feature which I'm sure to use frequently. I paid a great price due to the sale promotion and coupon redemption that was available to me. I couldn't have touched it purchasing locally and am very pleased with it's quality and the amount I forked out for it.....

In general, I like the helmet. It fits well, though I do have to remove my glasses before I put it on (not a fan of that). The front shield and visor lift well, thought if you open the top vents, then the visor, there isn't enough clearance and the vent cover gets hit and possibly knocked out. The other issue that I have had is fogging of the visor. the only way that I found to prevent it was to leave the visor opened to the first notch. That leads me to believe that better ventilation in the front would help. Since I am only using this when the temps are below 50 degrees F, I'd like to be able to keep it closed, but its not impossible to live with for me.

I Ride a flat black crusier and have never worn a full face helmet, bought this for cold weather riding and I find myself wearing it even when it is nice out! great fit I went by the size chart and no problems, the flat looks great with my bike and Ive noticed alot more people wear full face helmets on cruisers, so if you are looking for an awesome helmet that is worth way more than the price, get this you won't be disappointed.

I was excited about finding a full face helmet for this price. I have bought 4 other helmets from Leatherup.com and have been very happy with the service and products from them, so I had no worries. The problem with the helmet is not Leatherup.com it is mine. I have only used half helmets and for a short time a 3/4 with no issues. I put the full helmet on and went berzerk! So Claustrophobic! Can't use it, plus with my glasses it was very uncomfortable. I am sure it is just me and not the helmet. So I took the swing chin protector off and use it that way. Works perfect as a 3/4 helmet. I will not return will use..

I bought this bought because of the reviews that I read. I really wanted a modular helmet, plus it looks a lot like the old one I had. Everything is fine with it except for the visor. I don't know what it is made out of but I tried cleaning it with a moist towel to wipe off the little smudge I had and that completely scratched and ruined the visor. Bare in mind, this scratches easily on the inside of the visor. The outside seems to be fine with the moist towel. I had to call Leatherup.com and told them that I needed a replacement. They did get it replaced for free. They also stated that they know that this is a common problem and that there is a defect with the materials used to make the visor - it scratches with any kind of cleaning device.
