Not a bad buy... Bought an XL and it is pretty tight compared to my HJC XL... I'd defiantly recommend buying 1 size up on this helmet... Well built but the lens fogs up way too easy but not something an anti-fog spray won't fix... I apparently bought a defect or handling damage item because it has a few gashes on the nose... Defiantly 100% inspect it before removing the tags or throwing the box away!! Would have been 5 stars had it not been damaged... I would recommend that the manufacture invests in some more protective packaging material...

Bought the helmet a few weeks ago using a 10% off promotion code. It came packed well in a box within the shipping box and covered in a felt sack. It feels like a high quality helmet- very solid. It is great being able to switch from full face to an open face helmet. I also like the internal shade visor, though I agree with another commenter that the shade generates a slightly distorted view. I would not use sunglasses along with the shade- keep it one or the other. I have ridden several hundred miles with it, at highway speeds. The fit was true- I am a size small and the fit was perfect. It is supposed to be snug and it is, without undue pressure on any part of my head. My only complaint is with vents. The vents work great open and keep your head nice and cool. However even with all the vents closed, there still seems to be quite a bit of air that comes through- which isn't great in cold weather. This is my first modular helmet- I have a full face helmet that when the vents are closed not much air comes through- but that helmet does not have the vents in the back like this one, so it might be that. In any event, other than that issue, I like the helmet a lot and have gotten several compliments on it and the matte black finish. Overall a nice value for a modular helmet.

Love the helmet. Read many reviews for several other helmets and settled on this one for the positive comments and what you get for your money. Solid helmet, modular, sun shade, and quality. My only complaint would be the ease with which the clear lense seems to get scratches. The helmet does a fine job of keeping the head cool, ventilation is good, easy to get on and off due to it's modular design, and the strap is easy to manipulate even without an EZ connect adapter. Perhaps should think about providing an additional clear lense with the purchase of this helmet. As for wind noise, I cannot comment as I do not have experience with other helmets at this time; however, wind noise is only naturally noticeable on highways and expressways. I would be very surprised if there is a helmet in the market that can elminate wind noise going 70 mph. Don't you want to hear cars that are along your side or sirens for that matter?

Size was right and overall the helmet was comfortable. Just got home from 1900 mile six day road trip and no problems. For the price this helmet is well worth it, I also checked out some helmets at the store and found this helmet comparable to higher priced items. The padding and chinstrap were good quality , also I never had a modular type helmet before if you are thinking of getting one it is a good choice. The conveniance of the flip up front is great and makes it easy to communicate with your rideing partners.

The best helmet! I have an HJC half helmet and this one. I don't know if I'll use my HJC now. This is exactly what is was looking for. Love the easy transition from full to 3/4. The sun visor is easy to access with gloves. I wear prescription glasses and the sun visor is exactly what I needed. During the hot days i removed the lower chin guard and the helmet allows plenty of air to circulate. If you are on the fence, as i was before this purchase, just get it...... You won't regret it.

Very nice helmet. I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews of it running tight and the sun visor being cheap and it disrupting vision. Yeah it is a little weird putting on at first, but you get used to the proper way pretty quick. The sun visor isn't really all that anoint imo. Yeah it doesn't have UV protection, but it does block the sun enough to where I dont have to wear my sunglasses and switch back and forth. Very nice helmet with a lot of cool features.

I bought this helmet about a year ago. I was impressed by it on the website because of all the features. As with everyone else it was a little tight at first, it has loosened up over time and is now quite comfortable. The flip up and ride function has been really nice on hot days around town or when talking with someone. It doesn't have any unusual drag I have noticed when flipped to the back. When in fullface mode I think it is a little noisey. The ventilation is fantastic. Fit and finish is good. I am thinking of buy 2 of the Blue-Tooth models for next year!

Love this helmet! Its my first "full-face" helmet, and being able to lift the front is awesome!

The only issue I have had is once, when I raised the face shield it somehow caught on one ot the top vent cover and popped it off, but it snapped back on....seems to be OK now.

the sun visor is great too! Such a great helmet for the price. It did seem tight at first, and I got the XL....based on the measuring chart....but now I know to just spread it a bit at the ears when putting it on and tada! it fits! nice and snug. The improvement I would make/request is a quick connect chin strap, instead of the standard rings...or whatever is called.
