A hell of a nice leather vest at this price. It is of both robust weight leather as well as having a nice grain to it. No doubt we Americans eat a much more calorie rich diet than the Pakistanis who manufactured these vests. I'm a 46-48 chest (jacket); but my waist(belly) is more like a 50-52. The clever zippers on the vest's sides for tailoring the vest don't afford enough leeway for my 2x-larg vest to be buttoned closed; but around my chest and arms it fits very nicely. Rather than returning it for a 3x-large(or larger) I'm simply going to have a local leather tailor 'expand' on the "clever zippers". That way I can button it closed when desired; but tailor it down so it doesn't flap in the breeze like a flag when UN-buttoned.
As far as LeatherUp's service is concerned it is First Rate! I ordered late on a Monday afternoon and the FED-X truck was at my door Wednesday morning!

Wow! Unbeleivably good heavy quality leather! Nice stitching. I ordered the largest one they make 5XXX and it fit perfect. Not that fat but I am glad I go the 5X as it will be worn usually outside my leather jacket until summer!
Wow! ordered on wednesdy ,got it tuesday AM. I am 190 lbs. 5'10 38" waist and the large fit perfect. has more pockets than one could expect at three times the price, also my little 380 personal protection gun fit in the front pocket without showing. leather was also soft , as was my jacket recieved last fall. I had a previous vest from Leather-Up for a couple of years and wanted another vest. I had it narrowed down between this vest and another (out of stock). I am 5'10', 180, 36-38w. My belly a bit bigger than my chest. I wear L or XL depending on the clothing. I ordered a L but it was too tight around the belly. Exchanged for XL, and that works. The leather is very heavy but supple. The abundance of pockets (8) is unreal. Love this vest.

This jacket performed great on my motorcycle ride up the northern coast of California. It rained quite a bit and I was warm and dry. This jacket is lightweight, but performs like a heavy weight. Best buy I've made in a while.

I don't see how Leatherup made any money at this price. I was super surprised at the weight and quality. Thin but very warm. As warm as my down ski jacket. And I love the high neck . Good for riding.

you have done it again. the size quoted was correct. fit is excellent. same top customer as when I bought my xelement jacket. storm creek would not even give info on sizing unless I opened and account with all my personal info.

This is a perfect jacket for casual or business casual wear. It is made very well and looks like a top end leather blazer because it really is. I love the attention to detail where the stitching is excellent, the leather is soft and supple, and the overall look of how the jacket hangs is truly high quality. This is the best leather jacket I have purchases and I've purchases some very expensive leather jackets in the past. Keep up the great work LeatherUp! I will definitely be purchasing another jacket.
