I ordered a leather jacket, actually a size up than my regular size. Too small. Had to return it. Cost $10. It also took 3+ weeks to "receive and process" the return. Ridiculous all around. Bad sizing. Some prices appear to be decent but it's worth the hassle.
I gave them another try after buying another leather jacket a couple years ago only to have the snaps/zipper break within the first use. Not good products obviously.

No big deal, i just return it. Oh NO! They want to me to pay 9.99 more to return a jacket that is no way XXL! At best its a Large. But I have to pay for their sizing issue. Pass.
I for one, will no longer do business with Leather-Up. There are so many quality retailers that wouldn't hesitate to take care of a customer. But they took the path of no customer service..

I know there have been an extraordinary amount of 1 star reviews but my recent experience experience with Leather Up went as well as any online shopper could hope for. I ordered Willie & Max Grey Thunder slant saddlebags. Two days after I ordered my shipment was already on it's way with a valid UPS tracking number to watch it's progress. I ordered the item on 06/16/19 and it was delivered to my door on 06/21/19.
I did notice the charge on my PayPal account said SMK International Inc. and not Leather Up although I ordered from the Leather Up website. Maybe new management and better customer service? I don't know, but I do know my order went just fine.
I ordered a jacket for my wife as a surprise almost a month ago, we were told ten days ago that it had shipped, the tracking nnumber we were give is bad so we have no idea where the jacket is. I called the so called customer service and was laughed at because I had the nerve to be upset with the bad customer service. All I can say is do not buy from this company as you will regret it. We still do not have the jacket and still no word from this company. Stay away from them.
This used to be a great company but they have slipped in a big way over the years. I ordered a jacket from them. It took ten days to arrive. There was a bad stitch on the outer layer going over the zipper. I called them and said I wanted an exchange but said I did not want to wait for the return to be processed and then have another jacket sent out. I was assured that as soon as a return label was generated they would send another jacket. I waited seven days and then called them to say I had not received the label. Finally got the label and sent the defective jacket back.In short TWICE the amount of time has passed since I initially ordered the jacket.
You want to be an online store that is better than brick and mortar you have to be on your game with returns and exchanges. If this were a local store I would only have to return the jacket to the store and walk out with the exchanged item. No questions asked.

I have made a couple of purchases through this company in the last 5 years and had zero complaints with quality and delivery. But they have gone rapidly downhill as a company in that time. They screwed up an a recent orders of mine in a way I didn't think possible. I put my shipping address down as 4393. First they put it down as 4394 and then as 4047! Needless to say I didn't get my order. Called customer service the same day which was a Friday and they promised to call me on Monday to rectify situation. They never called. Sent them a scathing email. Tuesday I get an email from them showing that they are shipping me a New pair of boots. Great I say. Then I look down at the shipping address and couldn't believe what I was seeing. They screwed up the shipping address again! Making the exact same mistake as the first time! Sending it to 4394 which probably means it will wind up going to 4047 again! I don't know if everyone there is on drugs or brain damaged or what? But I will never deal with this company again. Good prices or not. Beyond ridiculous.
These people are a complete waste of time if you are looking for help making a purchase. At least if you have a question regarding an item on their site. I should have started with the reviews. The site looks impressive but when it comes to service there in NONE. I tapped on the "chat" button and got no response. I sent an e-mail with a question through their site and have waited over a week without any response. What a complete waste of my time. I found what I was looking for on another site.
This is the biggest no-no as a company. You CAN NOT cancel an order and then just wait for the customer to find out and contact you. Holy mother of pearl... Will NEVER put an order in with this company again.
My first order with this company was a pair of leather overpants for cruiser riding. What they sent me was a pair of skintight leather racing pants as though I was going to be professionally racing my non-existent Ducati at the Nurburgring. By the time I got refunded, the pair I wanted was out of stock. Nearly a year later, after the item comes back in stock, I try to reorder the overpants again. This time I get the appropriate style of leather pants but again they sent me a skin-tight pair of pants at size 30 when I specifically ordered size 36. I think their S&R is high AF. AVOID!
I've purchased several items from this company. I recently bought a pair of rather expensive boots from them. After 2 days of light use the right boot developed a nasty squeak. After notifying their customer service, they responded they weren't willing to help because the boots had been worn. The boots are defective and they choose not to replace them. How the hell do you find out boots squeak unless they've been worn. I think they care more about the profits than they do their customers. They've lost one for sure. Thanks for no help Shelly!
I went to order a helmet bluetoothe combo online but the website was not allowing me to complete my order for the color combo and size I wanted. After calling customer service, they told me the issue would be resolved by tomorrow so just log back on tomorrow to place the order. When tomorrow came, the issue was resolved but the price was surprisingly increased by more than $30 from a steady price I have been watching for almost a year. After calling customer service again, they said they realized a pricing error during yesterdays call and had to correct it. And they refused to honor the pricing I would have purchased it for if placing the order the day before.
I purchased a pair of xelement boots in october 2018, i have worn them a handful of times and the leather is cracking and separating from the boot. I contacted them and they will not do anything about it... 100$ boots didnt even last 10 times being worn.
I bought two helmets good price, and paid $60 for 2-3 day shipping. The order was placed on Jan 1, so they processed it on Wednesday Jan 2. If Fed Ex had the box by Wed Jan 2, I would have had it in hand by Friday, possibly Thursday. The article did not arrive Friday, the 3rd business day, so I checked the Fed Ex website. I needed the helmets for a ride Saturday Jan 5. They had JUST received it as a new package Friday. I then complained and asked for refund after getting the helmets on Monday Jan 7, which was now Wed-Sat then Monday = 5 full shipping days. LeatherUp then lied and said it was shipped on time, then lied again and said it was shipping within 5 days, though I have the screen shot of the order to prove 2-3 days. Jan Management lies to their customers. I now have to ship it back and pay my own shipping to return. Buy from AMAZON where managers cannot lie to customers and steal from them.
Ordered a pair of Chaps for my brother as a surprise for Christmas and received a shipping notification and tracking number. The FedEx number said the package would be delivered on Wednesday. Stayed home from work to intercept the package. No delivery. Checked the number again and the order had been cancelled. Contacted LeatherUp by email since after hours. No response. On Friday, USPS delivered the Chaps and my brother was home and the surprise ruined. On Saturday LeatherUp sent me an email that they had decided to change carriers and the package was confirmed to have been delivered on Friday. Just a bit late? I responded that they had ruined the surprise by 1) saying the package had been shipped when it had not and 2) not sending me the correct tracking number before it had been delivered. The response from LeatherUp, "you may return the item and request a refund."
My confirmed delivery was to arrive November 23 by 3 pm. I still don't have it as of today December 3rd.
I returned my jacket the same day, paid the shipping back myself, they won't give a total refund, deducted 9.99 for label which I never used. My invoice was 139.95 and they gave me a credit for 115. I think they make their money on miscellaneous charges. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS company again.
I ordered the Lexin LX-Max Dual Pack interphone. I recieved a confirmation of purchase and confirmation of delivery for the "Dual Pack". However we recieved the "Single Pack"... with a shipping list stating it is the "Dual Pack" noted in several places and someone even went as far as to initial the shipping list confirming a "Dual Pack." FAIL!

Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
