I LOVE this vest. This is the 4th vest I have bought in a month and a 1/2. Sold one online and returned the other 2. This one is the keeper! The biggest problem I have is I'm a fit guy. 6'-1", 190 lbs, 33" waist, 45" chest. Most vests seem like they are made to accommodate the larger "beer storage" areas of guys. I get you have to make a vest to fit a variety of types to make it work, but when I can smuggle aliens across the border in the lower area because there is SO MUCH room, that's a bit ridiculous. This vest was EXACTLY what I was looking for and with it's adjustable sides, it can ALSO accommodate the wider gentleman. But it also snugs down to my thinner midsection and looks GREAT! I love the style of the vest from the patterns on the shoulders to the peroration on the front and back to the straps on the side giving it the look of a bullet proof vest. Just a great style you don't see around with everyone wearing the usual vest with laced sides and chest pockets. This was the first zippered vest I ordered and I prefer the zippers to the snaps. This one has the two zippered hand warmer pockets and two zippered inside pockets. The zippers are nice and smooth and perform great. The inside mesh liner is nice and soft and also helps in ventilation. I cannot specifically speak of the airflow this is supposed to provide as I ride with a full windshield which blocks all head on wind, also it's not hot in Utah yet, so I don't know how warm it will get, but it feels light enough and hopefully with the perforation it will be cooler than most vests. I'm giving it 5 stars anyway because even if it doesn't vent much, it's no different than all the other solid vests, but the style, fit workmanship is AWESOME! I highly recommend this vest to anyone looking for something different than what everyone else wears. I wasn't excited about it being the 2nd most expensive vest on Leatherup.com, because come on, we come here for the exceptional deals, but this is an exceptional deal even at the higher price. Fit is true to size, if you are short or tall you might have issues, as I ordered a size 34 and I typically wear 34X32. Fit me perfectly. Look good, feels good, and even have a little bit of breathing room in the waist. Only negative is the style at the back of the pant, personally, I bought them for protection, not what they look like, but if I had to pick one feature I hate, its that. Reminded me of chick pants from the 80's, I assume its there for a purpose I just don't know what it is.

I waited just a little bit to write a review. I wanted to use this jacket for warm to hot weather riding. I am very satisfied. I instantly removed the lining since I will never use it. The vents really do work well. Very nice leather is used; not too thick and not too thin. The distressed look is very eye appealing. The jacket is very comfortable. I ordered a 42 and it fits me great. I am 180lbs with a 35 waist. I knew I would be wearing only a tee shirt or a long sleeve shirt.....nothing insulated. It's not the price of the Xelement jackets but you get lots of quality build out of it.

I purchased this item in a Large. I wear medium in most things, but I have long arms and like my jackets to have a bit of room for wearing a sweater or hoodie underneath. It fits perfectly. I'm 5'8" and 140 a 145 and wear a size 8 normally. The medium would have fit as well if I were looking for a like a glove fit without trying to layer underneath, but I have ape arms so the arms might have been slightly on the short side. _x000D_

I love how both the liner as well as the jacket shell have the device pocket on the inside. Clever. The styling is classic. The fit is delightfully feminine, but isn't too short as is often the case with designers making "motorcycle jackets" for women. You can't even really feel or see the armor in the jacket unless you are looking for it. It is comfortable and moves well right out of the box, even with the armor in. Other MC jackets I've owned needed a lot of breaking in to soften up and be more comfortable and less stiff. The leather is a great quality and seems like it will hold up well. I'll update as I've worn it more. These are just my first impressions.

Well made. Nice looking. Put on my Vulcan 900LT. Hoped it would match the stock saddle bags. Close. It is very textured (leather imitation) and my bags are smooth. What you can't really tell from the photo is the studs are very pointy. Mine are smooth. Not a perfect match, but didn't expect it to be. Looks good and is functional for the intended use as a tail bag on the luggage rack. The only disappointing thing was it arrived with the top a bit crushed or maybe that is normal. It could be stiffer to retain its shape better. Overall worth the $$.
