Took liners out for Florida fall. Comfortable and cool! buttons and straps a little getting use too, but great comments about look!
Pretty good, a little on the heavy side. The liners work but are a real pain to deal with, sleeves a little long and I wish they were tighter around the wrist. If I ever fall off I'll let you know how it goes.
I'm 5'8'' about 185lbs 36" waist got the LARGE, medium wouldn't have worked with the liners.
I am very happy with this jacket. I wore it for the first time in 90 degree weather and it performed as expected. It kept the sun off of me while still keeping me cool. I thought because it was a black jacket I would be roasting, but quite the contrary. Even when the temperature got to 94 degrees and I was not moving and just sitting there at time, I was comfortable.
I am 5'11", 165lbs with a 40 inch chest and ordered a large. With all the layers on, this jacket fit perfectly, but with all of the layers off, it was kind of on the large side. It does work awesome as a summer jacket though. The airflow is amazing and the jacket is pretty durable. It is definitely a nice choice when you want to stay cool during summer, but are looking for more coverage and protection.
Ordered a 2XL according to the size chart and it was WAY to small. My chest measures 50 inches and I could barely get this jacket zipped. Sent it back to get a 3XL but they are O/S. Exchanged for a Joe Rocket 4.0 2XL as my other jacket is that brand and it has a correct size chart.
This is another nice jacket I have purchased from LetherUp. I wanted a mesh jacket for warmer weather riding that had armor. This fits the bill. It also comes with a liner vest and an inner rain proof jacket . Both of those are removeable and for warmer weather you won't want them in the jacket. I usually take an XL but with this jacket and the two liners that was a little snug. So if you intend to use the liners get a size larger to be comfy. The outer mesh jacket alone has no inside pockets and I whish it did but you still have the side pockets. The rainproof inner jacket has nice pockets, one would be fine for concealed-carry. But all I really wanted was a mesh jacket that lets a lot of air flow through it and it has the shoulder, elbows and back armor to help you in a fall so it's doing the job. The price is very reasonable and the fit and finish is very good. It's a great summer jacket.
Fantastic jacket , I look like a movie star every time I go for a ride , what a handsome jacket , fits perfect . I am 5'-7'' and I ordered a medium size , delivery was super fast , great site . WHAT A HANDSOME JACKET !!!
Jim B. from Green Bay,WI. Good quality for price. I'm 5ft. 10in. and 245lbs. 38in. waist 50in. gut and 52in. chest. I ordered a 4xl and it has a great fit. I only ordered this for hot weather. With all layers in ,.the jacket would be tight if bulky sweatshirt was worn also .Armor is comfortable and back of jacket is long enough when riding my ZX14R. Would recommend for temps over 65.
I live in the Northwest. Ordered Jacket on Friday. Received on Monday.
I am 5'8". 200 lbs with a 46" chest. The XL fits with and without the liners, and removing the back pad. If I had wanted to use the back pad. I would need a XXL.
Great three season jacket for the NW. Outer mesh shell for hot summers. Water repellent layer for the rain we get up here. I won't be using the vest liner. I prefer thermals or a thin sweatshirt.
There are plenty of buttons, snaps and zippers to hold it together but. I have found it easier to use the layers individually, as needed.
Jacket appears to be well made, I am 6-2 and about 215 and 36 waist. Jacket XL fits snug but not uncomfortable with liner in. No chance to ride with it for a while since I live in north central Midwest.
I purchased this item for my daughter, who isn't a bike rider, and she absolutely loves it. I highly recommend this item.
Good quality at an affordable price. The only drawback is the sizing. If you're built stocky like me, the fit can be snug. I wear a 44 size coat. Purchased an XL. With the lining, fit's way too snug. But an XXL would be too long in the sleeves. It also is a bit short in the torso. Since I'm fairly warm blooded, I'll ride w/o the lining 80% percent of the time. The ventilation is outstanding. And the weight of this jacket is very comfortable. At this price it's not that big of a deal. I plan on purchasing a leather jacket for cooler weather anyway.
Very impressed with the quality of the jacket. The weight of it alone proves that it's the real deal! Fits great! The armor is not obtrusive, maybe the elbows when you put it on, but once on, it's great. Zippers are very effecient providing loose wrists, good air flow, and storage for cell phones in lined pockets. The liner comes out easily and makes the jacket cool enough for summer riding. It is very warm with a sweatshirt underneath...I ride some days to work and back when it's 30 degrees outside! And this keeps me nice and warm. Nice leather area on the back to put patches without hurting the armor areas.
I would certainly recommend this jacket to anyone that rides cruisers or sport bikes...very cool product!
I am a returning Leatherup customer. I previously ordered a different leather jacket, it was a little small and had some seams come loose. I returned it with no problems, then they discontinued it. So, I ordered this jacket, and I am glad I did! Great jacket! I am 5' 9" and 175 and I ordered a Large and it fits nice. Thick leather, under armor, vents, and a removable liner. Looks great with a sport bike or cruiser.
They mailed me the wrong coat and refused to exchange it! The zipper broke on the first coat, and the coat they sent back was the wrong model. If you want a coat to last, get a Schott, or something better quality. The zippers are not good, and I don't expect them to last more than a season. They sent me b4520, ok coat, but the pulls are dumb, but still not the coat I ordered.
the coat is such a great what we see on the image but even more beautiful in real life and high quality leather is not too soft or too hard
I bought for my boyfriend and he loves it very much, I am a satisfied customer
Soooooo I'm not exactly sure who they're basing these sizes upon - Leprechauns perhaps...I wear a 48L suit jacket and therefore fit into things that are regularly "2X" fairly comfortably (6'1" - 258 lBs) so I was anticipating getting the 3XL based on someone else's rating... glad I went with my gut and order the 4XL (which is STILL an inch too small in the chest - but I'll bare it)... the jacket has layers upon layers and as absolutely as "manly beautiful" in person as it is in the pics. DEFINITELY the BEST purchase out of all the riding jackets I've owned at this point, especially for the money!!! t...I've fortunately not had thee pleasure of crashing in it yet to convince you it's safe and hopefully never will but the level three armor feels very "durable"... the material seems rather durable as well and this jacket is seemingly "under-priced" so with that being said - If you're anywhere near my size do no less than the 4XL order you'll be returning it!!! HAPPY AND SAFE RIDING ALL!!!
Great jacket for the price. Its kept me warm while riding in NY with 45 degree weather so far. i have not been able to try wearing this in summer weather yet, however for winter alone i am satisfied. i found the large to fit me just fine, and I am 5' 10, 185 pounds. I would definitely recommend this product
Awesome Jacket!! Very soft out of the box. Armor is a bit bulky but it gives you confidence that if worst comes to worst, you will be protected. My only complaint is the lining inside the pockets. It feels like a fabric softener sheet. Overall very happy with the purchase. Received it in 2 days. Leatherup is my first choice for any riding gear.
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!! This is a great jacket, leather quality is superb, great AirFlow, looks incredible. Armor is not annoying as with others I have owned, you feel safe, but without the discomfort I've had with other Armored Jackets. LeatherUp delivered the goods with a quickness, like they always do. I recommend LeatherUp to everyone I know that rides because they provide Great Service and Great Product every single time.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
