Brilliant jacket with 3 layers: outside (wish it had more reflective piping), waterproof/mesh (a bit constrictive in the sleeves, but phenom overall), quilted inner vest (needs more quilting for insulation). Great adjustability, proper body armour, not too heavy, plenty of pockets. You'll want to wear a reflective vest on dark nights, since this is lacking a bit (thought the white stitching around the shoulders was reflective but it's not). Michael's review was spot-on -- you'll need a heated vest during colder winter days especially since the quilted inner is thin.
Overall, I'm still rating this 5-stars because of the overall quality, adjustability, functionality and price of this jacket.
This is a good jacket for the price but the quality isn't outstanding. The loops in the sleeves that hold in the lining are weak - one broke the first time I took the jacket off - so be careful putting in on and taking it off. It's light but with the lining in it's surprisingly warm. I'm a comfortable XL so that's what I ordered. It fits a little snug but an XXL would be too big for me. Overall the jacket is well worth the money but it is more for the casual rider vs. the enthusiast.
I was a bit torn between rating it a 3 and a 4. Overall I like the jacket, but I have had issues with the mesh on the inside tearing. Also, I ordered an XL and I usually wear L in street clothes and it was still a bit small. It fit well and snug when I had it on, but it was short, so when I rode my supersport bike it would ride up my back and expose my lower back, even after adjusting the straps quite a bit. I really liked the armor and the reflective piping. The liner did not stay very well in the jacket and made it difficult to get in and out of. The straps that hold the arms in place inside the jacket broke within a week of wearing it. The rain liner works well since I made a few trips in some wet weather. Most of the time I took out the elbow armor because it became uncomfortable. All the armor is held in place inside the mesh liner (not removable) with velcro closure. Another thing that bothered me was the liner was mesh and it was somewhat irritating on my arms. I would have preferred a cloth, lightweight liner instead. Overall, its a good jacket and it holds up, just a few issues with the liner and the length. Be sure to order larger than what you wear in street clothes.
I love the jacket. My only complaint is that the zipper is shoddily sewn into the rain liner - the stitching pulled away and the zipper literally came away from the liner with only gentle handling. I took the rain liner out and threw it away, because the reason I got the jacket in the first place was to have a lightweight, breathable riding jacket. I only wear the outer shell, and I love it. The shell alone is worth the price of the jacket.
ordered jacket on Jan 21 got it on Jan 26 really great shipping for boondocks of Montana. actually tried it out on snowmobile and felt great should work SUPER for motorcycle season. I ordered an exelement vest as well and love it just wish they would have let it be integerated with jacket as well ie: buttons and snaps and zippers. Love both of them just wish they worked together better. The jacket really keeps all liners in place so would be nice to keep the vest in place as well even if not part of jacket. This is a great comany and I will DEFINETLY but from them again. My only issue were with Exellement but do still love there products as well. Looking at buying an exellement rain suit soon

My chest is a 38 with a sweatshirt on so I got the medium and it fits great. The padding is in a needed places. I tried it out as soon as I got, it was in the low 40's and underneath all I had was a t shirt and I stayed warm. Great jacket. I would buy it again.
This is my first armored jacket and I expected it to come with better protection. I guess it will protect you the same way a leather jacket will. Without the linings it feels like you're not wearing anything! So far I've used it on 90"F and it feels great.

This is a great Jacket. Made of great quality material and fits awesome. I have been wearing it in TN in 95 degree weather and still am able to remail cool. Breathes very well. I don't use any of the liners that it came with right now so don't know how it will hold up once winter gets here. Shipping was very fast. I love this web site!!
My first jacket, and after reading some of the other reviews, I went for it, wore it to the MSF, and got a great feel for it. Fits great and has nice ventilation and sits nice and warm. I took the waterproof lining out, just because it was slightly too hot, but hopefully if I get my bike soon, it's easy enough to put back in, then I'll be set for if it starts sprinkling or raining. Fits good, I'm 5'9 and a good 175lbs lean.

Good quality. Inner lining are just as described. The mesh outer jacket allows for great air flow. It was out of stock for a long time but I did use it for a few rides later in the summer and with the protection removed still provided a secure feeling along with good ventilation

This is not a bad jacket, but I would probably not buy again due to the complexity of the thing. Three liners is just too many zippers to fool with. The jacket is nice for summer with all the liners out. Air flow is pretty good and it's not a bad looking jacket.
This jacket has a good design for riding and adds pectoral girth. I enjoy how water resistant the jacket is and how well it is designed for dealing with excessive wind. The zippers are on the cheaper side in my opinion and unteeth a little to easily. The armour is nice just note that there is no armour on the direct side of your lower arm.
Nice fit and look. I removed the liner and it stays nice and cool all day. Great on morning rides. I ride about equally day or night so the reflective stripes are very useful. It's very comfortable because it looks heavier than it is.
Great jacket!! My first riding jacket but really love the versatility. I'm a person that tends to be more warm than most people so this jacket works great without the liners on cool evenings. The added liner has also worked greatly on more brisk days. Not uncomfortable at all. I normally take an XL and bought the XL and with the added liners fits a little snug but I'm ok with that. Without the liners, fits perfect. Thank you!!
