I am always leery of buying footwear over the internet, especially boots. But, since I've got mangled ankles these boots looked like what I was looking for. I bit the bullet and order a pair and they were spot-on size-wise and after some break-in (a much shorter period than my Durango's of 20 years ago) are quite comfortable. I've yet to get my first scuff on them, so I can't comment on their longevity, but so far, I really like them.

What a great find!! First, these are true heavy BLACK DENIM jeans. They are NOT black "TWILL" which all black jeans seem to be. They have the "salt & pepper look like true denim SHOULD have! Second? Not only is the fit true, it is also consistent. Ordered 2 pairs by mistake, but they both fit the same. Very unusual for jeans these days. Third? The fit is made for riding, these are Motorcycle jeans. Fourth? The price! These are HEAVY DENIM WITH ARMOR!! and are less expensive than the last pair of "regular" jeans I bought.

The pants are Great, I own 6 pairs, they wear Very Nice , just like jeans, to wash you just take out knee pads which I normally dont put back in...

To compare to the Icons, I own 2 pair, they are heavier and bulkier which I dont like and they button up unlike these Xelements which zip up like a regular pair of jeans , the Icon Jeans do not get wore any longer since I purchased these jeans... you can buy close to 3 pair of Xelements to 1 pair of the other brand... You cannot get a better pair of riding pants or more comfortable pair than these jeans at leather up , and the cost is incredible... I cant say enough about these jeans...

These pants have a 32 inch inseam only so for me they were too short. They are small cut, compared to Levi's regular cut jeans which I wear a 36 x 34. I am 6' 3" 190Lbs. I ordered the 36 and could barely button them up. They are also hip huggers, the zipper is really short. I wish they fit though as the stretch panels in the crotch and knee area is a nice soft material and the jeans are good quality over all. I would rate higher if they made them in other lengths as not everyone wears a 32 inch inseam.

Really nice pair of pants. However, the knee pads seem to ride toward the inside of the leg vs where they should ride...over the knees. I honestly doubt I will wear them with the knee pad in them...they look great without them. I normally wear a 34-35 waist, so I ordered up to the 36. Good thing I did because had I ordered the 34s, I would not have been able to fasten them. The 36s fasten more like a 35. Overall, I really like them...they would have gotten 5 Stars had the knee pads rode over my knees.

Initial impressions: Look well made from outside and were comfortable first time I rode in them. I live in TX so heat and sweat usually cause problems but placement of seams in butt and crotch area mitigated most problem with pressure points. However; when I removed armour to wash them, was concerned about how pocket for armour was sewn into jeans, doesnt seem very secure or durable for long-time wear, armour kind of thin, but for price I think I can live with these issues. Minor issue, the way the pocket for the armour is sewn in makes it tricky to put pants on - sometimes the pocket would be shoved behind my foot instead of the front. So when putting on pants had to make sure to ease my foot behind the pocket, now that I know the reason why, if I am not careful I believe that one day I will rip pocket from where its attached to jeans. Will submit future review for long-term use.
