very nice pair of pants, looks great, fits perfect. to make it even better, make it available for lenght choice as well.
These are a good buy. A few things though...the knee pads ride low and these jeans fit tight in the thighs so order big.
I was not overly impressed with the pants. They are lightwieght, fit well, and would feel cool on a summer day. The only protection is in the knee area. You get what you paid for.
Ok, this is the second Xelement item that I have ordered (returned the first item) and to sum it up, Leather Up is great to deal with, but Xelement clothing has a really strange fit. Pants are not long enough for sport or touring riding (I'm 6ft and wear a 36/38 pant with a 32 inseam) and should be at least 1" longer if not more. If you have a 29-31" inseam they would be about right. Also they are a low rise pant, which is weird for bike appearal. Stylish but not practical unless you like airflow down the back of your pants while riding. Honestly I would rather pay twice as much for a longer inseam and higher rise.
Great pants for the money, good fit, fast.delivery
Thanks Leather Up for keeping me stocked and happy. Hawk in. Angleton Texas
Fit, style and functionality are very good. The only drawback for me was the pockets at the knees to hold armor pads. They are so loose that there is no way the armor would stay in place during a fall, which is imperative in order to provide protection. Your toes also catch in the pockets when your putting them on, somewhat of an irritation. After trying them on the first time I cut the knee armor pockets out. Which, in my case, doesn't deter from their usefulness since I ware independent knee/shin armor, which fits nicely under the pants. Other than this one shortfall, I am happy with the pants. The price is also very reasonable compared to others on the market.
a little short in fit. Also, only padding is in knees, and jeans aren't any heavier than any other jeans. Frankly, i was a little disappointed. Price is good though and looks good.
My husband likes these pants so much that I bought him 2 more pairs for Christmas. The rise is high enough that his back isn't exposed when he leans forward. There is plenty of room for adding additional armour in the knees and hips. The panel at the knees makes them very comfortable for riding long periods of time. And yet when he gets off the bike, he is very comfortable walking around in these jeans. A great product!
I bought this pants a few months ago and I am please with them. I am 6 feet 2 inches and 300 plus. Few things though, be careful when you are putting your legs in, your foot will get stuck at the knee protection pocket and if you are doing it too fast you will rip it from pants. I also bought a pair of denim don't know why but fitting was sooo different I sent them back for exchange.
good pants for the money, not too heavy, fast delivery, comfortable to use.
I got 2 pairs..1 black,1 blue...Very good quality..they looked weird on the knees at first but after wearing them a few time they fit great all over.
Fit nice, just wish the pockets for the padding was sewn to the pants better. not sewn at all towards the top of the sides.
The thing I like most about these pants is the absence of a crotch seam. It helps tremendously on long rides.
pants are not true to fit, have been waiting for these to come back in stock, they must have changed their manufacture. i ordered a 34 and they are a 30-32 at best. good thing i have 30 days for an exchange.
Really wide at bottom had to tailor fit them cost more than bargained for.but now good riding pants.
I want to love these pants but they're just ok. The denim on them is actually thinner than a sturdy pair of jeans and the pads really aren't that significant. They're just foam that isn't very contoured at all. So, you guessed it, they don't naturally wrap around your knee or stay in place very well. With time I'm sure the pads may shape to my knee. But I wonder about the effectiveness of padding that is pliable enough to bend/turn and be formed over time.
Great value, comfortable and great length. I would recommend these to anyone
Of all the items I've bought from Leather Up, this was the only one I wasn't completely satisfied with, and it was probably my fault. I'm 6'3 and a biscuit over 220 lbs. I wear a 36x38 shrink to fit 501's, and the 32" inseam was just too short, they looked like Capri pants and I just can't pull off that look. I have a riding buddy that they will fit so he gets em. If they ever get them in a longer length I'm down for a pair. The stretch knees and groin are an awesome feature.
These jeans are a good fit. I usually wear a 31 in the waist, but the 32 fit perfect. I like the padding in the knees not only for motorcycle safety, but for working pants. I also like the stretch material in the crotch for the motorcycle use and for work use. I wish they had these jeans in carpenter style because I like to use the side pocket for my cell, but these will have to do. I think the price is a little high. If it was lower and they were carpenter pants, I probably would buy more of them.
Love the pants! Wear size 32 and ordered 32. Fit was perfect and shipping fast. Was gonna order another pair but they are out of the 32. Wait til they stock back up. Best pants I own now, the stretching in crotch area is awesome.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
