However, customer service experiences reveal a significant concern regarding slow response times and difficulties in handling returns and refunds. While some customers eventually received resolutions, the inconsistency in support has led to frustration. Overall, while the company excels in product offerings, enhancing the efficiency and responsiveness of customer service would greatly improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Good gloves, very comfortable, they seem to be holding up well.
Great fit, good quality and a good finish Nice weight and feel on. Quite flexible allowing for finer movement.
I was pleased with the quality of the glove,,after wearing it a few times it feels like it is part of my skin. The dye residue that gets on your skin is a pain, but after using it a few times the problem disappears. For the price it's alot of bang for the buck
Got them a few days ago and will use them for the first time tomorrow. To solve for the dye that people have found on their hands, I washed them gently in warm water and a little dish detergent, squeezing them in the warm water and then rinsing them well. A ton of dye came out. I wore them for an hour or so to see if that solved the problem and I did not have any trace of dye on my hands. Maybe it'll be different after tomorrow but I hope I solved the problem for myself (and maybe others).
Great product from a great company. These gloves replace some that I purchased from Harley years ago. I was quite satisfied with the Harley gloves but these Xelement XG-879 gloves are superior. They look good, feel good, and seem to be wearing well. There is a slight color seepage with sweaty hands. Highly Recommend this product.
Great gloves and cool on th hands with mesh back. Wish I would have gotten a size smaller for tighter fit.
Bought these gloves to replace my old busted up gloves, ,They fit just right dont feel bulky and , very comfortable actually i can feel the grips on my bikes very soft material ,i might order a second pair for back up, the price is just right , fast delivery as usual from Leather Up ..i order other gear in the past .
Bought these gloves based on positive reviews. Fit was great and gloves very comfortable. Was initially happy with purchase for hot weather riding. Unfortunately, after 3 days of use, stitching on mesh over knuckles on right hand glove began pulling out/separating. Based on my experience, cannot recommend these gloves.
The gloves work for me since I will be wearing them in Spring & Summer. The are liighter weight & fit is good. I ride multiple types of bike they worked out great, from a 250 scooter to a 1000P. Way to go.
I ordered an XL for my chest measurement of 49", and it fits perfectly. Looks good, is (pleasantly) cooler than expected for hot weather riding. Jacket weighs quite a bit. Sometimes have a little trouble getting it unzipped. Good jacket, especially for the money. I would recommend it.
Ordered small, fits well (I'm 5'9 170lbs, 34" waist) except that the arms are a bit long and the armor on the elbows is almost not protecting my elbows). If you are any shorter than me, I don't know if the elbow armor would do anything except protect your forearms.
First one I ordered had the sewn-in liner twisted making in near impossible to put my arm through the sleeve, but leather-up exchanged it for me for a non-defective jacket. Both jackets had awkward zippers. Sometimes they work the first try, but I've struggled (sweating like crazy in the heat) for 10 minutes to get the zipper to start. The trick seems to be applying an outward pressure on the zipper when starting it so that it lifts a tiny burr (not sure if it this is a defect or engineered 'feature', but it existed on both jackets) out of the way and lets the zipper start. The zipper seems to get better with use (or maybe practice).
The jacket keeps me quite cool while moving, and baking when waiting at a red-light. Sweating while at red-lights in Colorado, followed by going up in the mountains (temp dropping 5 degrees, and being in the shadows) actually can make you downright cold even though it's 80 degrees until the sweat finished evaporating. The mesh acts like a nice evaporative cooler.
Quality seems acceptable, and considering the price, I'm happy
Great jacket. No puff up, you don't feel the wind beating on you just a nice breeze thru the jacket. Bad thing is it is black and if not moving it gets hot, I have ordered a silver jacket.
My measurement was around the shoulders not just chest and I got perfect fit.
Great decision to buy this jacket. Fits and looks great. Very comfortable. Can wear this jacket all year round in Pittsburgh. M Betrose, Pgh
I am 5'11, 190lbs, 34" waist. This is a great jacket. It has two removable internal liners (one water proof) that I immediately removed. I also removed the removable armor. The built in armor is oddly placed as other reviewers have mentioned. The mesh is very breathable when moving but as you can imagine gets very hot when stopping for more than about 10 seconds. Pockets are very small so don't plan on carrying anything other than wallet, keys, and phone. The sleeves are a little long but otherwise this jacket is exactly what I wanted and exactly as described. I think it will serve a good 3 season jacket (will probably need the liners and a sweatshirt underneath for fall. For the price I think it's a super purchase.
Purchased a two layer "Xelement Men's CF-626 Armored Race Motorcycle Jacket" a year ago for 79.95. That jacket was warmer than this four layer jacket. Only reason I wanted a new jacket was due to buying a different color bike. The arms are much colder on this jacket. One of the arm strap snaps pulled loose the first time I tried to unsnap it. It did a great job of keeping me dry in the rain though. Should be a good summer bike with the two linings out.
I'm 6', 185lbs. and broad shouldered and went with a Large based on Leather Up's telephone sales person. I ordered on a Friday late morning and the jacket arrived the next afternoon.
The jacket fits me a bit awkwardly compared to a much higher end jacket a friend lent me while I shopped around. It's a little bit big around the middle. The elbow pads everyone complains about seem like they're in the right place for me. The bulk of the pad rides forward of the elbow on the lower part of the upper forearm which is exactly where you want it to be if you take a spill.
I'm in Southern California and recently experienced 90F weather. The shell by itself was really cool and well ventilated and I felt protected by the armor. Temps got into the 60's at night and the quilted interior vest and waterproof layer kept me comfortable. My only pet peeve is that you are unable to use just the jacket and quilted vest. You must use all three layers or just the shell. You can make it work by turning the quilted vest inside out but this seems like a workaround.
All in all I'm very satisfied with Leather Up and my purchase. I would definitely order it again from these guys.
Decent jacket for the price. My wife is currently resewing the liner as it is coming apart at the seams. Also reattaching the loops that hold the liner in the sleeves. Other than that no problems so far. Of course, It's only been a couple of weeks.
Have worn the Jacket in the 80"s and in the 50" and it's very comfortable. Has lots of features and the fit is great. Will wear this jacket well into fall in the northeast but it's not too hot on warm days either.
Purchased as gift... he really likes it, but had a little trouble finding one that fit, which allowed me to experience the no hassle return/exchange process too! Definitely a great place for quality motorcycle gear!
Nice and heavy. The entire jacket is basically all mesh. Has a little vest as well as a waterproof liner. With out the water proof liner the jacket is very breathable. Like not wearing a jacket at all. Very comfortable. But that liner in and it turns into a sauna. No water in, no water out. I took it out. I don't ride in the rain anyhow. I am 5'11" and 230lbs. XL fit very well and my wife even said it makes me look thinner.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
