Overall for the price you arent going to do much better that this. A few notes of interest.

These boots are seriously tall!

Typically I go with an 8 inch height and didn't think the extra 2.5" would make much difference but MAN these things go up as high! Not a bad thing, just not what I thought.

They run big.

I saw other reviews that said these are size accurate, but these were huge on my feet despite my ordering down a size. I rode into work and had a hell of a time getting my toe under the shifter and was really disappointed because I felt like I was fighting with it the whole time when trying to change gears. I got a pair of thick gel inserts and tightened the straps a bit and it got things back in order.

Overall I like the boots. I was pretty shocked at how expensive MC boots were when I started looking and once you drop below $100 the pickings start getting slim so these were a welcomed option. These seem pretty well built. At $90 they are a great deal.

I rated 3 stars because of the fitment (I normally wear a 9.5- 10 shoe so I ordered a 9. These fit like an 11) and the toe having a pretty good sized scuff on it. Maybe that is being picky but I bought brand new boots and it kind of sucks they weren't in perfect shape. I polished them up and it did help a bit but the scuff is still pretty obvious. I really don't want to go through the whole returns process so I'll live with it as is.

I ordered on Sunday night and the boots arrived mid-day Wednesday - incredible! I've only been able to ride in them a few times, but they seem to be very well-made. They fit fine, a little large, like other reviewers have mentioned, but not enough to need the next smaller size - thick socks do the trick. I like my boots to fit high on my calf, and these fit the bill. The straps also allow me to adjust the fit without having to unlace them. If they hold up, they'll be the best value I've ever gotten in a boot.

Pros: I'm short and hate laces. So, the big heel and long side zipper were what appealed to me with this boot. It met my expectations on those fronts. Easy on and off. Other boots have zippers that aren't long enough where you still have to mess with the laces to get your foot out. Decent price for what you get. Styling is super cool!

Cons: The leather is thinner than I expected compared to my Icon 1000 Elsinore boots. But, the Icons $250. There is no ankle protection, just thin leather. The metal emblem on the side gets caught on the mesh liner of my overpants when gearing up for my rides. The soles leave scuffs all over my office floors, so they have been banned at work. :-)

I absolutely love these boots. They are very high, which I like a lot. I normally some dr schols slim extra padding in all my shoes. With that said I normally have to get a 10 and a half to accommodate the padding. I ordered a 10 and it fits perfectly with them; so, they do run slightly big.

By far these are my favorite motorcycle boots I've gotten, and I have been riding since 1994.

The only improvement would be if the skull badge were removable. I may paint that black but other than that very minor note they are perfect.

I plan on ordering another pair in a week or so. That's how much I like them!

I recently burned my leg on my Harley exhaust and needed a taller pair of boots. These are great because they are 10.5 inches above my heel, have laces so I can tighten them for ankle support, yet have zippers so I can get them off and on in a hurry. I have arthritis and neuropathy in my feet, so these help support yet are not too heavy or clumsy while operating controls. The toe is soft yet thick leather and the design and skull with pistons is a nice touch. I priced boots that were similar but not any better built by Harley and they cost four times as much. I took a two hundred mile trip with these on my Ultra Classic and they were comfortable, strong, heavy duty but light weight, and kept the heat off my leg. I recommend them to anyone. I ordered my regular shoe size and they have plenty of room for heavy thick socks, yet are comfortable with light weight diabetic socks, so whether your foot roams around a little or is in tight these are very comfortable without being broken in. Love them and as always Leatherup got them to me fast, Xelement products are quality leather and the soles of these boots are very good on wet asphalt with a light coating of oil.
