I did a separate experiment on air couriers and delivering packages to my father who now lives in Zambales, Philippines. I went to FEDEX, but they cautioned that I would need to handle whatever expenses they may require once the package gets to Philippines, I believe this is the Import tax, Lithium Batteries problems, questionable items, and a load of other custom related questions, which they do have. Although FEDEX was much faster, within 6 days it got to the FEDEX location near Zambales. Although it got there fast, they held it for about 6 more days because of the red tape, and other import, export taxes you may need to pay. However, at LBC, you will need to pay it here, in the United States (where I reside) and they check the items, which may delay your packages from getting to its' destination. The drawback regarding the tracking system of LBC is that it is not in real time, and there's a discrepancy where it will not refresh at all, unless those people at customer service department, here in the U.S., will fix the glitch, and give you updates, you must contact them if you see the glitches on their tracking system. I had to contact them through email, but that doesn't account for much, especially when you complain. They'll put your email in an automatic response, and now, you're communication method with them has decreased. Now, you need to contact them by phone, and explain the situation there. I told them, that the LBC package has not moved in San Francisco at all, and I am worried that it will not get there on time as promised (usually, within 7 - 10 days). Once I did this, my tracking automatically refreshed and it told me that the package was already there in Philippines. Therefore, the question still remains, should you use FEDEX or LBC? My take on this is, watch what you will send to Philippines, especially Lithium Ion batteries, and liquids. Also, do it in small packages instead of huge large boxes when doing air freight. Note, this is only air freight and not through ship cargo. Ship cargo will be another experiment and I will do it some other time. Also, air freight costs more for small packages, around seventeen pounds. This will cost you around $112.00 - $130.00 dollars. Don't forget the insurance, because sometimes the agent at the front desk will mark the box automatically without them asking you. You have to look at it from their perspective, the customs and people handling your package. If they see an insurance amount of 1,500.00$ versus, an insurance that costs 50.00$, then they may look at it, and you'll find some items missing. Just a reminder, if you're going to send it to a place where people can't even find the simple things in life, such as food, and items, you will find things missing. If you place it in a box with an insurance of 50.00$, then customs may only see it as invaluable items such supplements and items which they don't really need, and release it as quickly as possible. Note, this is in theory. My box had perishable stamped on the outside, and the lady who checked it in near Tully, San Jose, California, placed the insurance amount of only 50.00$, which I thought was questionable, but it got to its' destination within 7 days. 7 days! Let that sink in. So, it's up to you and how much you're willing to spend on air freight, and how fast you really need the package to get to Philippines. Overall, I think LBC, and other couriers are all questionable once it leaves the U.S. boundaries, and you have to be always persistent and vigilant regarding where it is, and call them if you feel that it's not going to make it to its' destination on time. So Track it, track it, and track it!
A very disappointing courier to use for in any transactions. It has been 45 days already since they collected the box from UAE. As per the website, the box has reached LBC Naga. It has been 5 days already and still they cannot deliver the box in the designated address. The reason they are giving is that, it is an international parcel they are still waiting for the other boxes to arrived so that they can start the delivery. They even asked my mother to collect it since it is in the warehouse already. I paid for door to door service, why do you even ask to collect it where in fact it is your obligation on your part
Very incompetent company!
LBC is an overall lame business. Its always offline, always no money to give when you are receiving money, it sucks. S U C K S! I have been going to lbc for years now and they never change. Your basically going there in exchange of disappointment.
No updates for my package from Singapore for the past 2 weeks. 5 customer service agents later and constant emails, still no update. You guys are absolutely useless, I will continue to encourage friends and family to boycott you!
Today I just had the worst experience to be treated by LBC driver (HIS NAME IS YUSRI) He collected my box and at the same time deliver a new empty box that I requested. He forced me to pay the $10 deposit for the empty box just because he saw another box in my house WHICH IS NOT MINE. The DRIVER concluded and assume that I am wasting their box and thus, forced me to pay the $10. I've been LBC customer long time and i believed you have the inventory and records of the boxes that i order (you can double-check my record is in your system) I make sure to send out the boxes that i ordered. IT IS WRONG FOR YOUR DRIVER TO PUT THE BLAME ON ME FOR NOT USING THE EMPTY BOX THAT HE SAW AND THUS FORCE ME TO PAY THE $10 DEPOSIT FOR THE NEW EMPTY BOX. HE DON'T EVEN GIVE ME A RECEIPT FOR THE $10!. YUSRI'S ATTITUDE IS THE WORST DELIVERY DRIVER THAT I EXPERIENCED! HE IS RUINING LBC'S Business IMAGE AND REPUTATION! NOT GOOD FOR YOU TO KEEP THIS KIND OF EMPLOYEE! A DRIVER WHO BLAMES AN INNOCENT CUSTOMER!
LBC SUCKS! I sent my balikbayan box on February 4th. Almost 2 months later, its STILL only a 4 hour drive from my house in Chicago! If i could go pick it up now, and send it with a different carrier, I would! This is T
LAST time I EVER send a box with LBC! They are TERRIBLE!
More than 2 months still not receive the items, poor services. Sorry to say but worst shipping company ever.
LBC is not even worth giving a single star. Worst courier service in the Philippines! I entrusted them with an important parcel that was supposed to be delivered within 24-48 hours. 4 days went by and after several calls made to their call center, they still couldn't locate the parcel. They keep on saying that they will make a report and will follow up. They shouldn't give false hopes to the public through their web media stating that their delivery will only take 1 day for NCR and Luzon area. This courier service is careless. If they keep on doing this to their customers perhaps its best for their DTI certificate revoked.
The LBC branch in palawan promised our sender that the package will arrive within 5-7 days but it arrived in16 DAYS. DONT AVAIL THEIR SERVICE. If you want updates, just dm their twitter account, at least they're responsive there.
Worst shipping company ever! When I inquired about shipping an item to a guy named Luis, he suddenly hung up the phone; then, when I redialed the telephone number *******424, they just turned it off.
I do not know what is going on? They do not deserve even 1 star.
If there is a zero, I would give it to them. Contact # is not working, not responding to email. It has bee n a month and the document has not arrived yet, the tracking site does not say anything. I paid 1600 pesos, from Philippines to USA.
I should have never used LBC to ship my balikbayan box from US to the Philippines. I sent out my package in West Covina, CA for shipping on Sept. 3 but until now Nov. 22, it has not reached the recipient in Quezon City. I followed it up with them several times after the box reached the Quezon City warehouse but the customer service people (*******424) kept giving me the same response "I will expedite the shipping of your package." When I called back, I found out there were no responses from the warehouse. Apparently, they were being dishonest because they did not really do anything. They could not even give a date as to when the box will be delivered. Do not be fooled by the sweet voices of the customer reps. I WILL NEVER AGAIN SEND ANY PACKAGE THRU LBC! It is unreliable, disorganized, and unprofessional.
I have a documents sent from philippines to Tunisia, Those documents so important for me and my wife, we need them to do wedding in tunisia,
This service is so slow, we will not make it in time at this rate
Now it's been 5 days the package still in philippines.
I hope they do their job in time,
I tried to reach company support but no reaction,
Seeing the old comments and feedbacks make feel stressed and unlucky
They don't even deserve 1 star. They deserve less than that. Im warning you not to use their service especially their dfa passport delivery service in dfa aseana. They wont inform you about the status and why they failed to deliver. Days will pass in oblivion. As a resort, you as a customer have to do your own investigation about the whereabouts of your parcel. And if you request for a refund since they did not do their part. They will send you an email about closing the said case and won't even apologise for the inconvenience they caused you. Such a disappointing experience. I wont use them anymore in my future transactions. I don't recommend their service at all.
They send me a sms message, my parcel will deliver today. I wait until 8:00pm and still no parcel receive... " i wait it for long time " LBC Express Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines.
My previous review was on Lazada and this one is on their delivery partners LBC.
I contacted LBC to find out why their couriers keep cancelling heavy or large orders I buy off Lazada site, all my orders get delivered to whichever lbc partnered courier services around the Philippines by the sellers then they sit there from a week to a month then the couriers return them to the sellers and all with the same lying reason "unable to fulfil order due to unexpected technical issue" (translation: to lazy to lift a heavy or large parcel) 7 orders in a week in different parts of the Philippines all have the exact same reason and 1 order delivered to the couriers office and told me to come and get it because that is as far as they go except it is a 2 day trip for us to get it?
I have asked the question directly to LBC 4 times now with all the order numbers, "why won't you deliver any large or heavy items?" and as expected from this type of company the response was "sorry but contact Lazada" hahahaha what a joke. There is a problem with the delivery service so call the seller? Both Lazada and LBC have told me to contact each other passing the blame and not answering a single question. 90%of the people in our area refuse to use LBC as their services are so bad it is better to go without and wait until you can buy it directly from a seller on the mainland. I personally have only had 2 items delivered out of many many deliveries that were undamaged, very bad if at all any training for their couriers and absolutely 100% no care taken with any packages. I've seen them roll a heavy box straight off the back of a high truck onto the ground without the slightest concern of lifting it down just push and "Bang". All this has to be stamped out right from the top if they want to be able to have a trustworthy, reliable delivery service. If I was the managing director of Lazada I would dump LBC and its partners as quick as look at them.
DISGUSTING AND NOT ONE OF THEM CARE OR EVER INTEND TO CHANGE.
Our package was half empty. We filed a complaint nothing happen. You cannot even reach a higher management. Dont use them
Reasons why?
See below:
1. Origin branch made a mistake with the address but on the receipt, it is correct.
2. Delivery of the document was sent over a month ago.
3. E-mailed customer service and was told to go to origin branch.
4. E-mailed customer service asking for the current location of the document instead because I could not easily go to origin branch since it is quite far from home.
5. Asked for the branch where the document currently is being held so recipient can pick it up instead.
Customer relations specialists of lbc are unhelpful. I already told them in my e-mail that the document is urgent and I only needed to know the branch where it is held so the recipient can pick it up. They only kept telling me to go to origin branch instead. I've reitirated time and again that I could not go to Tacloban as easily before in this pandemic but they refuse to understand my situation.
I've had bad experiences with LBC starting with the balikbayan boxes I sent from New York to the Philippines. The agent who took my two boxes did not replace them, saying I have to book again for pick up just so he could deliver the replacement boxes to me even if I don't have any for pick up. The 1st of the 2 boxes which was bound for Mindanao arrived after more than 3 months from the date it was taken from my apartment. Worse, the 2nd box which was bound for Cebu City was delivered close to 4 months! And that was after I made about 4 follow up calls to their toll free number! Up to now I still didn't get the replacement boxes as I don't want to make a phony booking just so the agent could deliver my replacement boxes.
My other bad experience directly involves my son through his wife but I was indirectly involved as well since my daughter-in-law asked for my help in following up the box. My son sent some clothes and important documents via LBC the day before he went on training for officers during which they wouldn't be allowed to use communication devices in the course of their training which runs for many months. Allegedly, the box was delivered but the delivery agent claimed he couldn't get hold of the consignee as well as locate the address. As a result, said box was allegedly turned over to LBC Charitable Foundation & could no longer be retrieved. I called the toll free # to complain and after many follow up calls & several days after, LBC was "able" to retrieve the box. The thing is, my daughter-in-law has to pay again another shipping fee of the same amount as the original shipping fee for it to be sent to the consignee. In effect, she was paying twice for that one box! Worse, this time, the box will have to be picked up at the LBC office nearest to the consignee and not delivered. Talk about double hassle, unnecessary additional expenses and inconvenience! If the delivery agent has used due diligence the first time, these could have been avoided. He could have sent an email and text message to the consignee if he couldn't be reached by calls and they could have agreed on the best time to deliver. Also, the consignee said he has received several packages from other couriers and even LBC in the past at the same address so he couldn't understand why the delivery agent said that the address, which was accurately written, did not exist?
When my daughter-in-law tried to follow up at LBC Taguig, she said she was mocked and felt disrespected. I think LBC needs to overhaul and improve their set up and system as well as retrain and periodically evaluate its staff if it wants to stay competitive!
I think your radio station is fantastic. I listen from early morning ( Nick) to super James OBrien, then turn on again at 4 pm. Sat and Sun is the best with Maajid. Best one. BUT your advertisement are TERRIBLE, especially if you are sick in bed and have to listen to them repeatedly, girl with Vodafone and other ads she does, every 20 mins of air time there is 3 mins of dreadful ads. Is it BBC from now on.
Answer: 5 day i think... tsaka kita naman po sa status. Ang tagal ko hinintay sa labas ng bahay. Walang dumating. Pag check ko sa online tracking. Bakit ganyan ang report.? Parang hindi naman nag punta yung delivery man nila
