Lawnstarter is an app that allowed me to schedule a mowing service. I got an upfront price without someone even having to come out to give the quote because they were familiar with my housing complex. They found workers and even when my regular crew is tied up, they can find someone else to get the job done. I didn't have to do anything except accept the quote, they said they would guarantee the work, and I just pay after the job is done twice a week. It couldn't be more simple! Finding someone to mow my lawn for a good price was as easy as completing some information on an app and hitting "accept."

Been using Lawnstarter since September 2021. Had a couple issues with some crews but Lawnstarter fixed the issues quickly and got us a crew that does a wonderful job!

I used Lawnstarter for about two summers. Just like everyone else leaving a review, I was also repeatedly rescheduled by their crews, or had to complain when crews just didn't bother to show up with no notice. Each year, there would be a period when no one bothered to show up for up to 6 weeks, which meant my grass grew to knee length on these occasions. I didn't realize how lucky I was that I was never charged a long grass fee when this happened. But just recently, I had a credit card that was being used faudulently (not by Lawnstarter) and the company cancelled it and issued me a new one. I didn't think to change the number with LS, and as a result they tried to charge the old number and it was denied. But instead of emailing me to let me know there was a problem, they just cancelled my service. I didn't know anything was wrong until I logged into their website to find out why, ONCE AGAIN, the crew didn't show up when expected. Had I known about the issue, I would have corrected it immediately.

Anyway, I changed the number and got back into their system, and was told a new crew would be out a few days after the July 4th holiday. They sent two poor schmucks with push mowers (all the other crews used riding mowers), who didn't even complete the job correctly, as they were supposed to blow the clippings off the driveway, sidewalks, etc., and didn't, the crap is all still sitting out there turning brown in the sun. And then, they had the AUDACITY to charge me double -- a total of over $100! -- for a long grass fee even though the problem was Lawnstarter's fault!

I have cancelled the service now and DO NOT recommend using these crooks. Their crews clearly put LS customers at the bottom of the list in importance and will find any reason to charge double, even if LS is the party in the wrong. Save your money! Get a real, reputable lawn care company to do your lawn!

Order these online and received great communications prior, during, and before. The lawn was done great. Easy to make changes and very through.

I have been using LawnStarter for the better half of five years and I have had little to no issues with service. Even when there was issues like mother nature and scheduling issues the team would immediately reach out and be proactive about rescheduling services and finding a new crew when it came time to for my bi-weekly service. I have recommended this service to all of my neighbors!

What can I say? JR is very detailed and through. He handles himself very professional and provides excellent lawn service. Definately, a plus to your company!

I was at the end of my rope. I had another national lawn service, but after 4 delays or no shows I knew that I needed someone who could actually do what they advertise. Due to the delays and no shows, my yard had multiple issues: grass that was too high for my neighborhood, hedges that had massive growth spurts and other minor needs. Lawn Starter rep understood my frustration and helped me to determine what I needed and immediately placed a work order. The one thing I really like about Lawn Starter is that they allow you to directly IM your lawn servicer so that everyone is on the same page. I have had 3 service sessions and each has been on time, professional and very courteous. Definitely impressed and very thankful as I no longer get those "looks" from my neighbors.
