Great app for these times. Everything is done online, and all you have to do is inspect the yard when its done. Prices are fair... with a great introductory price... and so far the work has been top notch. You can do one time or setup recurring service. I got the Bi-Weekly plan... and every time I think to myself, my lawn needs grooming, I get a pop up notification "Your LawnStarter appointment is coming up!". So I just have to sit back til its done.

I've had two services (lawn mowing) with Lawn Starter and really appreciate the great service they provide and the customer-first approach they take. I come from a state in the South so the lawns here seemed pretty tiny. I understand that everything here is pricey and through the roof but I was expecting to be charged around the same (maybe slightly higher) given that the lot sizes here are only 1/4-1/5 what they were back in my old town (and the environmental conditions are much more brutal with 90-100 degrees back there). There are several things I love about the company: 1) they mean it when they say they put customers first (I was charged more than I was expecting from my first service so I emailed to complain about the extra charge the contractor put without my knowledge--Lawn Starter quickly got back to me and corrected the issue on the spot); 2) they allow you to stay in control of when you want services rather than lock you in to a strict and expensive bi-weekly schedule (I can ask to push back the next service date with a simple click in the app; conversely, I can request to push up the service and within minutes I get confirmation on the app--very simple, fast, and convenient and by customer need); 3) they have very reasonable prices (other companies charge ridiculously high prices for mowing relatively small lawns here in the Bay Area); and 4) their contractors are skilled and hard working (although the first contractor was not as honest or forthcoming). I am so happy I found Lawn Starter as I was almost about to give up and do the mowing myself given the ridiculous service charges and rigid service terms that were not customer-friendly. I hope such quality, affordable service continues into the future.

These guys went above an beyond to make our yard look nice. They really did a great job with edging! Our yard is only 3/4 of an acre but has a lot of breaks and pieces. Really appreciate the hard work
