I signed up for LawnStarter in June for an empty property in midtown Tulsa, mowing only, no trees or shrubs on lot. They claimed to mow it but I didn't see it for 5 days. I told them it didn't looked mowed, but agreed to wait until next mowing. Next mowing was scheduled for July 15th. They pushed to the 16th, then they closed the ticket without mowing. They said it was a mistake and it would be mowed on the 17, on the 18 I texted because it was not mowed. On the 19th I called customer service and they removed my charge, but would do nothing to prioritize getting my lawn mowed and said it would be another 4 days. I asked if it could be sooner and they said they would try to find someone and call me back. I got a text 15 minutes later saying it would be mowed in 5 days. I called them back and I fired them. I don't think they are a scam, just a horribly run company without any understanding of customer service.

Me and my wife sign up for the promotional lawn service. The service was only supposed to be 19.99. But instead they charge full price plus a long grass fee. Then on top of that they charged my wife card after I put my card on the app. When we asked why they said once you give you them your car number that can charge it as much as they please. So disregard at my card and charge my wifes.

First off they require a 3 cut minimum, no problem. They be-ginned by offering me a 19.99 first cut deal no strings. I ended up paying $77 after all the hidden fees and tactics once they got there. My next cut they showed up and had the audacity to say they couldn't cut the back yard because the deck connected to the gate was too high to get the lawn mower through because the lawn mower was too heavy. It was not a problem the first cut through right?… So they did-not cut the front yard either which had no access issues. Should I go on. What a joke of a company. So my next move is to report them to Better Business Bureau. If I care to do it. This is why most mom and pop companies don't make it. Yes you suck bad Lawn starter and Lawn love companies. You are better liars than me when I was a kid 30 yrs ago. Bravo

Services included in regular lawn care, this Company finds ways to make you pay and you don't often get what you pay for. Most people run in and out and do not meet your needs, but they find ways to tack on fees and extra charges. You are best finding someone you can communicate your needs to and is not afraid to invest the work into a potentially long term and consistent relationship with flexibility to adjust to customer needs.

I got my first lawn cut yesterday. They came out almost at 9 at night. They ran over my pool cord. The gentleman offer to replace it. They missed many patches. And their glass all over the place. Nothing was cleaned up. I know it's hard see at night. I work a lot. So it's hard for me to get around to clean up. In past I had company came but stop showing up but cleaned up after service. With having pool in the backyard it's important keep grass cut and clean. I like my property look nice. I'm looking forward to next job they come out and do better job. I had to send photos for my motor for my pool be replace.

I tried to cancel my service, but they wouldn't let me. They said I had to have one cut and they came out today. My grass was taller because of rain, but within reason. The crew cut my grass and left deep gouges in my grass. They left clippings in the street, they left my gate in the backyard open. I went back to the website to make sure my services were cancelled and now they said I can't cancel service because I have to have a three minimum cut. They will not let you get rid of them. At 10:00 pm while I am writing this review I get an email stating I was quoted one price but now it's going to be $100.00. More than double the original quote. The website is marginal at best, there is no telephone number to contact them. First thing tomorrow morning I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals Office of Consumer Fraud. Please save your money and go to a reputable company, this one isn't.

Paid them. First time they did show up...ok job...2nd time...called over and over! Never! Showed up. But, talked to some nice Filipino people who were tasked with their customer service. Not to be trusted! I will cancel bank account tomorrow.

I ordered the service on Monday. It was suppose to be scheduled Wednesday-Friday! I received the "on our way text" Thursday at 2pm. No one showed up. I contacted the company multiple times Friday each time they told me it would be cut by end of day Friday. Apparently the lawn companies are dropping me last minute. Very disorganized;( still waiting day (5) no cut grass.

I was trying to get a lawn care service for my home that I had moved into the past year, and I called everyone around, but no one could get me on their schedule,I looked around and called up lawncare, and they were able to hook me up with a lawn care service. Whenever I had any problems with the crew, the customer service was extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend.

If I could give this place a 0 star review, I most certainly would. Micheal Jarmon and his crew should be ashamed of themselves. They were hired to do a job and instead showed WITHOUT any equipment to even do the job as well as I caught them on camera shouting profanities and stating they don't even want to do it. I was honest in my initial survey explaining that my lawn was over 12 inches high and it was even said that there will be an extra charge for tall grass. So, I'm not sure what their issue was. What's worse, is they were judging the situation and have no right to do so. They have no idea what someone is going through and being recently diagnosed with something serious, out of the blue, has shifted my priorities. Obviously I could have, and should have called sooner, but my life has been turned upside down and getting my lawn done hasn't been on the top of my priorities. I'm appalled by their behavior and even more so for people that are in a worse position than I am. There are way too many companies out there who would gladly take my business and either not judge someone's situation or better yet, keep their comments to themselves. I've lived in my home for more than 10 years and have ALWAYS been able to do my lawn MYSELF...until now. Disgusting behavior. I hope and pray they themselves never end up with anything medically that prevents them from being able to do their day-to-day responsibilities and moreover I hope noone ever judges them for it either. I will NEVER recommend this company, regardless of whether Micheal Jarmon is a true representation of their company or not. I bet not with the fact that it says, "Since June 2023". Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

They came without calling and weed waked my flowerbed to pulp. They didn't have keys to backyard gates because I wasn't home. So I got 3 small front stripes of grass cut and my flowerbed of 13 years was gone. I contacted the BBB and was told by company that Megan would contact me, she never did. Jason offered me 45.00 credit to my account. That doesn't cover 80sq. Ft of garden, which has had planting for 13 years. They also deducted 111.00 from my account for that trip to my house. They are liars, no customer service, say they can't do much because they are remote, however they are based in Austin. A real company would have been here within 3 days and access the damage and replanted the bed. Don't use them. They don't give a rats-$#*!. They pass the buck & lie!

LawnStarter has some great workers like Arthur Grant who work your lawn well and leave your place and the affected areas clean. We also appreciate your customer service who are always ready to help and friendly.
We are only pausing our service to try out another provider and to see the best fit for our budget :) but I would recommend LawnStarter to friends, for sure. Thank you for taking care of us.

Really having a hard time with this service. I have been cancelled and rescheduled on so many times (not by my request) and my grass has become so overgrown because of their unreliability. They usually auto-schedule your next service two weeks after a completed service, and whenever my next service date comes around, the crew almost always cancels and reschedules. At one point, they stuck me with a long grass fee because the grass got so overgrown--I didn't find out until after the technician left. I tipped him, gave him a great review, and then found out they charged me the fee which put me at a total cost of $100 for that one service (I disputed it with them and they did refund the long grass fee after a couple days). I also posted a good review on NextDoor with hopes of getting the $20 credit they advertised, and that didn't happen. I need to move on to a different service. Pic of service history attached.

Constantly not showing up at the scheduled time. Grass would get long and then they would charge more. One guy didn't finish his mow and left and when I tried to get in contact, he dropped my account and I never heard from him.

I would not recommend this business. Landscaper Elijah did great job cutting front yard and some of backyard. He said he would return to finish job the job; and he never came. Weeks passed he never showed up. He had every excuse in the book. They charged me but did a half job.

Answer: This company is a scam, they get your credit card and charge for "extra services you did not request.
Answer: I have spent nearly $200 and my yard still looks like trash. Find someone else to do your yard. These people charge for work they never complete!
