What a joke! I have been using this service all summer and have ALWAYS requested Walter. Tonight I reordered due to all the rain and as always requested Walter. They are now saying you cannot request a specific mower. Customer services exacts words to me:

What a great idea this is - but really poor execution and dependability. I loved that you could schedule on line and pay through PayPal. But overall this service is average at best. It stared out ok (probably first 3 mows) and then just got unpredictable and sloppy. They either didn't show up at all (and I always tip) or they showed up a week in advance of when you scheduled the mow. You can't depend on it and can never get the service on a schedule. I have contacted customer service more than once, with no response. They always want you to deal with the mowers when in fact, it is their company and customer service should always be a top priority.

For months I have been telling my husband that we need to hire someone to mow our front and back yards. We've had so much rain this year and ended up with some pretty fast-growing grass. He keeps getting really busy and, before you know it, the weekend is gone and the grass gets higher. We hired a neighborhood kid once or twice when it got really bad, but he did a pretty awful sloppy job. Besides that, somebody had to be at home to let him in, get the mower out for him and pay him. What a pain, especially since we both work a lot of hours.

Then my friend, Carrie, told me about a new online service called lawnmowingonline.com. She told me that she had seen an advertisement for it and talked her husband into trying it. She raved about it and said it was quick and easy. She said you could even pay online using Paypal or a major credit card.

So, my husband and I decided to try it. We like the fact that you can set up mowing service online 24/7 and you can even prepay if you want to. We didn't have to be at home when they arrived, which was perfect for us. They did an awesome job and our lawn never looked better. They sent us pictures, too, so we knew how good it looked even before we got home. But, nothing can possibly beat that feeling of driving up in the driveway and seeing a neatly manicured lawn instead of an overgrown ugly one. It was amazing.

How hard can it be?

How hard can it be? Go online, tell them how big your yard is, and let them know what you're willing to pay to get your lawn mowed, schedule a date, and pay up front. I've used them several times and have been very pleased with the services rendered. I'll definitely continue to use them.

I am very happy with this service, maybe I am lucky but I signed up one day and sure enough the next evening my yard was mowed and looking great, I believe it was Walter who did the job. I did place my request with a $7.00 tip, even so it cost me 1/2 of what I used to pay a service. My experience for my first mowing is very positive. I have recommended them to my family members and neighbors.

I’ve used this service a few times now, and it’s just really a convenient and easy way to have a simple job done. The online ordering, low price, and constant updates on my service are great. The contractors are always very professional, and perhaps the best part is that they don’t require a contract or minimum amount of visits. I highly recommend them.

This company started off great for me. Low price and good job but over time it got worse. They started showing up really late or not at all. The last time I paid for them to come out the contractor didn't even cut all the grass and when I notified them of the issue I got no help whatsoever. So as long as the contractor does a good job and comes out when he's supposed to otherwise you basically are screwed out of the money you paid. I will be filing a complaint for such lousy service and will not be using them again!

Sorry the contractor did not arrive in time. He says he was 4 minutes away when this negative review was posted and he has contacted you personally to try and work out a solution. Order has been cancelled and refunded. As for previous problems there was no message to support. If there is a problem with a order first contact the contractor and if they refuse to fix the problem or do not respond then contact support so the order can be reposted and the original contractor is permanently removed from the website.

I don't think that should be a good reason not to post my awful experience with your services. Customers can request a different contractor or request a full refund for any reason. Contractors that cause problems like the one described by Armando are immediately removed from the website. Like any business, we must be made aware of what the contractors are doing otherwise we can not attempt to solve it. Armando has still not contacted the website so we still do not know who this is or if this really happened. Also you are too busy to send one email to support to have a problem fixed, but not too busy to go online and register for other websites and leave multiple negative reviews? This situation makes no sense, if a buyer on Amazon or Ebay has a problem don't they contact the seller to try and resolve it rather than going to another website to complain? All the positive reviews here are real. We have been in business for over 5 years and we have tens of thousands of satisfied customers.

I have successfully used this service and would consider it again. However, I am dubious of all these reviews because they use the same language "contractor" which says to me that they are trying very hard to be sure that we know that this company is in the scheduling business and that they are not responsible for the quality or results. Secondly, they keep mentioning a tip in a specific dollar amount. Hardly subtle.

You said you have successfully used this service and would consider it again, so why do you think positive reviews are "dubious"? The positive reviews are all real, but some of the negative reviews are fake, left by contractors that were removed for taking orders but not finishing them.
