I have a small computer tech business. From time to time customers laptop screens get broken and I have to replace them. I have used laptopscreen.com 4 or 5 times and it has been fairly uneventful. I get on the site, find the correct screen, and order it. Several days later the screen shows up.
I can't speak to any of the negative reviews I see here but I can say all my transactions have been positive.
I have to be honest that I went out on a limb by ordering at this website because I know nothing about laptop screens and much less where to purchase them. I went to a few computer fix-it stores and the charge to fix my screen was roughly around 300-400 dollars. Anyway, I paid about 90 dollars (including shipping) by purchasing through laptopscreen.com and I received my toshiba screen in about a week packaged safely in plastic film and bubble wrap and a cardboard box.
When I received my screen, the "how-to" videos on the website were extremely helpful because I had no idea what the first step to changing the screen would be. Well, to say the least I successfully changed the screen on my toshiba and my laptop is as good as new. If I ever need to purchase another laptop screen this is the place where I will be buying and I'll be the one to change the screen myself. Why pay someone else to do it when you can do it yourself in about 15-20 minutes?
And for the record, I am a female and this means that all females shouldn't be scared to change their own screens.
Kudos to laptopscreen.com!
An amazing company. I don't work for them or anything like that. I was a bit unsure at first but I would recomend them to anyone. Here's why...
Very easy to find the screen I was looking for.
Toshiba wanted $391 to replace the screen, laptopscreen.com wanted $115 including shipping.
My order was trackable through the delivery company. I think it was UPS.
The screen arrived in about a week and was well packaged.
I just gave the entire box to the repair tech at futureshop and within 24 hrs, I had a new screen installed and I can use my laptop again.
I am very impressed with the simplicity of the whole process. I did not really know if I could trust the company but I figured for the 100 bucks, why not. I couldn't find a screen anywhere else so I went for it.
The take home message is... If you need a screen, use this company. It is not too good to be true. It works and works very well.
My wife's netbook screen cracked. I pulled it out of the laptop so I'd know the model number and then went shopping on the web. These guys had the lowest price by $20, and good reviews, so I went with them. They sent emails when they processed the order and when they shipped. The new screen matched the old one exactly, and has been working fine for the past month.
I'm sorry to read reviews from the disgruntled customers, but they treated me wonderfully.
I had a good experience with the website and the netbook screen that I ordered. My family has four identical netbooks. I am going to have to order another screen as another family member managed to bust theirs. I usually read reviews prior to purchasing, but was in a hurry, the price was right as well as the shipping. Overall, everything was A. O. K!
Not getting into the fray here. My one experience with them was just fine: I was able to correctly identify the type of screen I needed to replace my Dell Inspiron screen (after is was dropped) using the site's info guide; I found the price reasonable after comparing their rpice with another on-line dealer and Office Depot's "estimate"; the screen arrived when promised; the "How to" video was right on the money; and the screen worked perfectly right away.
IMHO, if this is the way they do business they don't need to invent positive reviews. ~ Daniel K, Dallas, TX
Faster than expected delivery, exactly what I ordered, easy replacement instructions, every thing about the order exceeded my expections. Would definitely order again if the need arises.
I got the screen in a great amount of time replacing it was very easy I will so use this site again
Pros: Fast service, Cheapest place to buy LCD laptop screen, good quality product, have used the screen for more than 1 month now. No issues, works good, will definitely recommend friends and others.
Cons: None so far.
My Acer netbook screen got stepped on, and cracked it; (not hard mind you, I will never buy another netbook, that is another story), but less than 6 months old, I ordered a new screen from laptopscreen.com
Isn't Screencountry the same company, I don't know? Came from Canada in a timely manner, my son installed it, so far, perfect! These knock off screens will never match exactly your original, however note that my son has installed several from this co. For friends etc and so far so good.
Great guide to pick out the right screen and absolutely fast shipping. Made for an easy transaction.
I broke my screen while traveling overseas. While looking for a replacement screen, I came across laptopscreen.com. I was a little hesitant at first given that the price was $20 below most of what I'd seen on other sites. However, decided to give it a shot. I would've given them 5 stars, but the processing took over a week to get the laptop screen shipped out. However, it arrived wrapped a couple times in bubble wrap, big "FRAGILE" tape, and intact. A quick search on the internet showed me how to change the screen on my HP dm4 in no time. Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend this site to others.
I received my lap top screen from this company a few weeks ago and my pc is up and running again, the only issue I had is that I paid for 3 day shipping and the package didn't arrive for like 5 days, which wasn't really laptopscreen. Coms fault, they shipped it when they were suppose to. All and all, the screen was new, I had no issues installing and I am satisfied. Hopefully they stand behind their warranty and this will be an awesome find!
I found these guys while doing a casual search for a laptop screen i was replacing for a friend's computer. I searched the usual suspects, EbaY, and all over Asia and the United States expecting to have to settle or find a screen in used condition or have to pay a ton of money in shipping and brokerage fees. You can imagine how happy i was to find a company within Canada and for a decent price no less!
These guys had several pay options and, once the full amount was received, they sent me a bulletin informing me of what was transpiring... with a tracking number no less. Once i was informed of the tracking number, it was easy to plug it into the FedEx site and find out EXACTLY where my package was.
I experienced ZERO B. S. and the screen arrived when they said it would and almost to the hour (that has never happened to me). Once i received my package, i opened it (if you ask me it was OVER-packed very carefully) and the EXACT order i had placed was in my hands, no screwing around, no missing mounting hardware or wrong plug-in's for the CCFL tube etc. It literally took me about 15 minutes to replace the broken screen and i was on my way.
I do a lot of computer repairs and i can tell you, the next day i was recommending these guys to friends all over the place.
I don't know how many people here gave a bad review, but it must have been the exception to the rule.
Thank you sincerely
Brian

Great website i have bought some screens here no problems great site
I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a discrete video card and the original 17" screen developed vertical lines down the display. There was an unpublished replacement program for the screens and Dell replaced it free of charge about three or four years ago. (The laptop was purchased around 2000 or 2001.) Then about two months ago the screen went dead completely. I was able to use the laptop by connecting it to an external monitor for my desktop so I lived with that until I found laptopscreen.com. There were other sellers on eBay that had prices a few dollars cheaper but I made the correct decision to go with laptopscreen.com. Yes, there was an international transaction fee but it was only 94 cents. Big deal. The screen I selected was delivered in a couple days and installation went without a hitch. There were no dead pixels and I, like others, appreciate the longer warranty. The screen delivered was exactly what I selected as a replacement, the original was matte, the shipped screen was matte. I've had no issues whatsoever and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. They will be my first choice. I personally recommend them if you need a replacement screen at a very good price. Just make sure you know which screen you need. I'm a computer professional with over 30 years in the industry so I know what I'm doing. For someone without the necessary skills I heartily recommend giving them a call first to make sure you get the right replacement.
Ordered a new screen for my wife, her Toshiba Portege M800 screen was damaged and too expensive to repair.
Bought a screen from these folks at about 1/3 the price, and installed it myself. Seems to be working just fine so far with no problems. Knock on wood.
Ordered from the website, fairly straightforward to order and good instructions on how to properly match the screen. Chose the cheapest UPS shipping option, and it arrived in less than a week (Vancouver to Halifax ground). Arrived undamaged, good packaging, and so far no dead pixels.
All in all, a pleasant ordering and shipping experience, website is comprehensive and had no problems at all. Excellent efficiency.
Perfect experience... I have very quickly found the corresponding lcd... I have ordered and, naturally paid, and after alone four days I have received the package with my order... I am a lot, very satisfied. Thanks
THEY CLAIM IN BIG LETTERS ON THEIR SITE TO SELL ONLY OEM PARTS. NOT SO. ORDERED A REPLACEMENT LAPTOP SCREEN FOR A DELL COMPUTER EXPECTING TO GET THE SAME LG SCREEN. I DID NOT AND JUST GOT A COMPATIBLE. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOW THIS, I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ON EBAY FOR $20 LESS.
OEM stands for ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. Dell's shipped with LG, Samsung, AUO and ChiMei screens.
If you received any of those brands, then you have received an OEM screen. However if you do insist on the exact model,
We do allow for that to be specified in the order notes, while placing the order, and we will do our best to pick one out for you,
Or give you call-back stating that the exact model is not available.
Just ordered, received, and replaced my broken Dell Inspiron screen - the price was great, the product was exactly what I wanted and needed (don't leave a laptop on an exercise bike while your four young boys are running around), and there was absolutely no dissatisfaction with my purchase and product received.

Replacement LCD screens for Laptops, Tablets and Phones

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your time!
There are only a few major LCD manufacturers in the world
(i. E. Samsung, LG, AUO)
LCD screens require a tremendous investment and
Technological base to manufacture.
Laptop manufacturers (vendors) like HP, Dell, Acer e. T. c.
Do not manufacture their own screens -
They use available screens from the above producers.
Quite frequently the same laptop model was shipped with various screens.
When you order a screen from us you will receive a screen from a reputable
Manufacturer, which was used during the production of your laptop by your vendor.
