I had an original silk shade on an antique lamp for many yrs. I replaced it with this faux silk shade that is the exact same shape and it looks great. Can't tell the difference

Upon installation of a new fan, my electrician notified me that the fan motor did not work. I notified Lamps Plus and they promptly sent me a new fan, which was then successfully installed.

I stumbled across Lamps Plus while looking for exterior garage lights. Got them and moved on to interior lighting. They have a great selection and reasonable pricing. Shipping is always quick and instructions are easy to follow from the manufacturer. My last purchase was high quality and S is not your box store lighting,. Lamps Plus has a large variety of every kind of light and ceiling fan imaginable!

The lamps is as specified, but the finish of the shade is sloppy. The lamp came packed in a lot of styrofoam, which is a burden to me and to the environment.

I am now "uplighting" two areas in my home where I have tall houseplants. It looks fabulous!
I don't understand why it took so long to to change from a clear PLASTIC insert to to frosted (acrylic) PLASTIC insert. The screws are plastic, the inserts for the screws that anchor it to the post are plastic,which stripped while tightening them enough to keep it stright.

The lamps are nice and heavy duty I was disappointed by the actual color of the glass lampshades-seemed much darker that the picture in the site. Also the shades should be a little longer to hide the glare of the lamp. I was going to return but we had already thrown out the packaging. I have always been pleased with the service and quality from Lamps Plus.
