Kohl's is doing it right: good prices, great sales. Promos for buying quantity (Kohl's Cash) & rewards for smaller purchases over time (yes to you rewards). Adequate, friendly staff in almost all locations (have been to multiple locations in several states).
I have had problems ordering they made it seem like it was in stock when it was not. They never shipped or sent email to let me know. Had to call and asked what happened

The shipping department is as bad as it can get. The cardboard boxes are always falling apart and they use so little tape that they are usually partly open. I have had things stolen because the products are so easily accessible.
I BOUGHT A $375 BLENDER AND THEY SENT UP A BEAT-UP OPENED BOX WHICH LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN ON A CLEARANCE TABLE. WE COULDN'T EVEN PICK IT UP WITHOUT IT FALLING APART. THIS WAS INEXCUSABLE.
If you have a problem online and need to telephone--beware. They have changed my orders many times--changing quantities or eliminating items completely.
If you hate to return things--DO NOT USE KOHLS ONLINE. Thank goodness that they have such a great return policy.
I love the arrangements they do with designers for that high low designer partnership. Great customer service department online and in store. You have to watch out for sales... they give the stuff away!
For some reason, I had the impression that Kohl's was a discount type store. I bought a pair of Levi's there and found out that I paid way more than I could have gotten online. I also bought a navy blazer there with one of their store brand names attached to it. It was horrible quality and I returned it... again finding a much nicer, Ralph Lauren jacket for about the same price. I don't even go into this store any more. Check out prices of things in store and then online.
I needed help work an order that was processed too many times. No help was given. An email was sesecret days after with no help given. A phone call was made by myself immediately [5 minutes] after the problem occurred however there was no one to take said phone call. Poor customer assistance.
I can't ever seem to be able to order online without snafus. I have spent hours trying to place an order without success. Customer service is great, very helpful. I'll just call from now on.

I buy dress shirts and shoes at Kohl's. Some of their apt 8 clothing and marc Anthony. Everything else is crap. Don't really like the fake sales, but prices are good on the right days.

The Kohls in new milford ct is a shame. I've been a customer for so long and needless to say that while checking out the associates ringing out other customers and asking for credit cards is too much! I once was behind a old lady who could just barley walk I believe it was her son with her, anyway the cashier asked the both of them if they had a kohl's card the son said yes and the older lady said no. So the cashier started to sell up the credit card. She kept telling the cashier no, I'm good, until finally the son snapped and told the cashier no. Also, I had another time where I was paying and in the next register over, a young lady was buying some items, got asked for a credit card and she was explaining to the cashier the she has enough credit cards and that she doesn't need another and how she's in collage and lives on campus and doesn't shop at kohl's so much. So let me get this straight your taking advantage of older people who cant care for themselves and a collage student who has enough credit cards? I get you have to sell up the cards but that was unprofessional, and rude! They obviously don't care who they sign up whether it ruins their credit or taking advantage of a person who doesn't understand and just wants to pay and get out. This is beyond ridiculous and this isn't the first thing like this about this kohls! I'm upset that it had to come to this because I never write reviews and I hope no one has to get per pressured in to this.

I like shopping with Kohl's on-line and at their stores. They have good stuff that I get right away and if anything doesn't work out or doesn't fit, I can easily return at one of their walk in stores.
Every time I go here, I walk out of the store with more savings in my pocket than what I actually spent in-store. Wonderful name brand clothing at low prices. They carry my favorite brand of jeans - fit like a glove. I am also addicted to rings and they never fail to have a new, beautiful one for me to add to my collection.
I can't even tell you how many times I have ran into the store for an emergency dress for a wedding or other event. I always find something to fit the need. If you can't, a salesperson will be there to help you in a minutes time.

I've only gone in a Kohl's one time and enjoyed the experience but to me its just another J. C. Penny's. Good selection of some items, but less of others.
Their products are as good as say walmarts or pretty much anywhere else you buy general merchandise. Kohls jacks the prices up and then gives you Kohls cash to spend the next time you come in to shop. It is really your money they are giving back to you, to entice you to spend more the next time you shop there. I will say it is ingenious I wish I would have thought of it first... lol
Love my Vera and always a lot of selection there.
The jewelry department is great, break it and they have replaced it for me.
The staff is always so helpful and friendly.
Answer: Don't know about Canada, but NO THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! They can't even figure out to send a glass picture frame in a box instead of a plastic bag. TWICE! And forget about a refund. Shop elsewhere, anywhere else.
