Through an inadvertent mistake I was using a female fitting room. The fitting rooms are between men's clothing and women's clothing. The fitting rooms are not marked for women only. Store customer traffic was very light. Hardly anyone shopping. No other people were using fitting rooms. So I couldn't see that women were also using the same fitting rooms. There was a female attendant who was rehanging the shirts I tried on and rejected. She did not notify me that I was using a women's only fitting room. As I was in and out of the room I was using, trying on different shirts, a father and 2 daughters arrived. I was told this by a store manager after I came back to discuss the incident the day after it occurred. I never saw the girls. I saw a man standing outside the fitting rooms using his phone. He apparently complained about me using the fitting rooms while his daughters were. Again, I never saw any young girls or women while I was in and out of the fitting rooms. I finally found a suitable shirt. I started looking at ties. I had the shirt on one arm and hand around a hanging tie that I was examining and thinking of buying. A security guard accosted me. He told me I had to leave. I asked why? He said some customers complained about me. This was very surprising since I hadn't any interactions with other customers or attendants. I attempted to get him to explain the issue. He insisted that I leave the store without any explanation of why. I didn't argue with him. I just walked out as he followed me out! I must admit that I am not very happy. I am a Vietnam Veteran and this happened on the store's "Military Appreciation Day". I don't feel very appreciated. I am requesting an apology, that the women's fitting rooms be clearly marked "For Women Only", and that the rude security guard be fired or at least reprimanded and provided customer interaction training. If the guard had simply explained that I was using the wrong fitting rooms and told me where the Men's fitting rooms are, I would have gladly complied. I would also now be more forgiving. Again, when the guard accosted me, I had already finished using the fitting rooms!

Once upon a time, I loved shopping for clothes at Kohl's. Ah yes, back in the day before the hideous clothing industry reared its ugly head. But businesses like Kohl's ran out to eagerly greet them and welcome their drug-induced clown clothing into the fold. "Dress the ladies like color-blind morons with no taste and money to burn!" the evil clothing industry exclaimed. And the Kohl's leadership followed suit.
3/27/2023 I call customer service to change my due date from the 22nd to 28th of each month. And was told that it couldn't be done per agent and supervisor. I'm not behind just payed March 22. It is when I get payed the 28th. Ridiculous. They said the system want let them.
Frederick MD store was worse than Goodwill in appearance... stuff thrown around, untidy shelved merchandise, racks of cloths stuffed on racks... horrible oresentation.
I made a double payment for my Kohl's charge in error, so I called and requested a refund. The refund was mailed 1/27/2023 and was initially advised to wait 7-10 bus days for receipt. Never came. I called again requesting to have it reissued, but was advised up to 14 bus days. Never came. I called again requesting to have it reissued, speaking with a supervisor & was advised can take up to 4 weeks. Never came. I called again requesting to have it reissued, and was then advised to wait until 2/27/23 since it was mailed on 1/27/23. Never came. I called again today, 2/27/23, and requested to have it reissued. The rep said it was reissued and said 14 bus days for receipt / entire process of reissue, etc;. Now I am waiting until 3/17/23 and I will have to call back again, I am sure of it. Oh and I tried to contact Kohl's corporate office and the number goes to a recording advising the number is not monitored and to call back another time. WOW, is all I can say and I will be cancelling my Kohl's charge card and never shop there again. Horrible service and they refuse to overnight it, expedite it, put it back on my account even to use so I do not have to live the nightmare for a refund. I am disgusted by the way Kohl's treats their VIP customers. It is a disgrace and anyone who shops here or has a card, must be ignorant and they will learn like I did after all these years. Additionally they often don't supply shipping cost - letting the cosumer assume shipping is free above a certain amount purchased. Then charge exuberant cost for shipping! This was recently done to me when i had a cookware set in my card and again no shipping charge or option to pick up at store. I got suspicious so I only submitted a card which had about $30 + above the actual cost ( presuming shipping) and apparently they needed more for shipping this $50 item!
If you like shopping at this store like I do, please go to the actual store in your mall. Shopping online at Kohl's is not treated well at all. I was sent the wrong size shoes and the package arrived not at a good state. It has been replaced of course, but I don't like the experience.
Kohl's used to be a great place to shop but not anymore, the prices are off the wall (summer pajamas for women $52.00?). Everywhere I look items are "buy one get one 50%" which is just a gimick to get you to buy 2 but it isn't working. Most items you couldn't possibly want 2 of. Inventory in stores is very low and you can't uses % off on toys (which are already higher than other retail stores). I would also love to have my instore purchase visible on the web site like Walmart & Target have. I can see why they are having probelems but the high prices are not going to help them since store turnout is low.

By the 23rd-- the item was still not here. The tracking said the company sent a pre expectation shipper but no merchandise. That is the way it stayed. Kohls, of course, says it could be the shipping company instead of taking responsibility. So I spoke with a woman about overnighting the item for me since it is Kohls fault. She starts arguing that we dont know its Kohls fault. Could be the shipper. No more Kohls for me. I am done with them. 2nd time with shipping issue.
I ordered a $200 leather coat on Dec. 18th as a Christmas gift for my mother from Kohls.com, I paid an extra shipping fee for expedited delivery before Dec. 25. The morning after ordering I received an e-mail stating my order had been shipped and would be delivered on Dec. 21. I took that e-mail at face value. Fast forward to Dec. 21 and my delivery never showed up, so after checking the tracking I find that my order was never even picked up by UPS. I then call Kohls customer support and I am told that my order was not shipped because it was out of stock. I never received any notification prior to this that my order was not on its way. I ask to cancel the order and be refunded in order to try to rush out and buy a gift at the last minute. I am told by the Kohls representative that it will take 6 days before I am able to cancel the order and I will have to call back in order to do so, then after that it will take 7 days to process the refund. Basically Kohls sold me an item under false pretenses as they never had the inventory that they charged me for and now they are holding my $200 and it will be at least 3 weeks from the day that I made my purchase before I can get my money back. At this point I'm not even sure that I will get a refund. This is company that engages in fraudulent practices. I have a feeling that they do this intentionally as means to falsify revenue reports as they are holding customers money for inventory that they do not have nor intend to ship. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES!
I cancelled a pick up order that costs $48.99 and instead of refunding the total amount they gave me only $20 back due to their scamof kohls cash. This place is robbing customers do not shop there. I have the whole transcript too saved.

Poor online ordering experience. Couldn't log into my account because the system was down, so I had to check out as a guest. Then they sent the wrong color and am given only option to return it online. No option to communicate with someone online to fix it so I had to go out to the store (Jackson, MI). Once at the store there was no clear directions to returns so I went up to the checkouts right by the front door. They were not busy 1 customer at check out and one just getting into line. As I walked through the door a cashier greeted me. I walked around the maze to get to checkout. There had been 3 employees discussing something and one checking out someone. I thought ah cool, np I will be in and out in no time. I was wrong. 1 of the 3 other employees that has been disusing something came over and opened a second line. BOTH cashiers were painfully slow and both started having issues with items ringing properly. It was only after standing 15-20 minutes waiting for them to finish at least 1 order, a manager came up to help them. As she came though glancing over at me with my package with shipping info on it she told me returns were in the back. So I go back to returns and the only thing they can do is return the item and reorder the right one since it isn't in stock at the store. Would be fine except it was a sale item and I have to pay full price for the reorder and if I want the price difference back I would have to wait for the full priced shoes to come in, then take them back to the store again for a refund and re-ring. I live 15 minuets from the store there is no way I am wasting all that gas because you couldn't send me the right shoes in the first place. I returned the shoes and wont be shopping there anymore.
My part of my order is lost and now the items are not available. They totally ruin my family picture. I tried to get the kohls cash and money I spend back and is a disaster. This is the second online orden I having issues with. I'm not going to trust them again. Don't buy online.
Don't order from Kohl's for Christmas they will not gift wrap and boxes reveal what's inside...very disappointed with customer service they said sorry happy holidays!
If I went in store I would have gotten my kohls cash. Online nope! I spent $381 which $10 for every $50 spent should be $70. Well I got $20, when I talked with associates Arlene she says website is wrong I can only have $5 for every $50 spent which is still shorting me. But she won't help me she said too bad basically. So their website is wrong she says. Don't trust kohls they don't care if they don't have to deal with u in person online is a scam!
Ordered two candles and a toy. 2 GLASS candles. They were shipped in a large box 2 glass candles and a toy...NO PROTECTIVE WRAPPING- no bubbles, no crushed paper, NOTHING. The candles arrived shattered, obviously, and because of that damaged the toy ads well. They did give me a refund but couldn't explain the shipping and when I asked for a supervisor I was given a voice mail and still have not gotten a call back 5 days later. I WILL NEVER USE KOHLS.COM again!
My daughter and I went to Kohl's this afternoon to drop off an Amazon return. My teenage daughter was itching to have me buy her something with that $5 Kohl's cash incentive we got for the Amazon return. I told her I would consider getting her a useful item of clothing like pj pants or a sweater/shirt. We searched the entire store and could not even find a pair of pj pants other than knit middle/old age lady ones. Not a pair of flannel pj pants to be found! Seriously? Not even 1 shirt in the young ladies area did she even consider trying on. There was nothing remotely attractive in the entire area. But walking through the store on our way OUT, we saw racks and racks of the most hideous clearance clothing I've seen in ages. Wow, can't believe no one wants to buy that vinyl, vomit green Moto jacket. Or the rectangle shaped beige dress/Ace bandage. Hard to tell which it was…Need some Granny panties or cheap shapewear? Then you're luck. Huge supplies of them. I am their target age range but I didn't see anything in that store that I wanted except a pair of black yoga type pants and of course they only had them in a size XXL. That's it, no other sizes. But if I wanted Capri length tight athletic/yoga pants at the end of November I would have had my choice of options. Regular length? Who would want those? Kohl's Corporate Buyers must be idiots. Seriously very brain cell limited narcissists who can't just ask the shoppers in the local stores what merchandise they feel is needed in their area. I guarantee not 1 person in my area would be voting for that vinyl vomit-green motorcycle jacket. You guys are killing your own stores. Wake up.
I ordered a pair of boots from Kohl's. I received the boots and wrapped them for my daughter in law as a Christmas gift. They drive in from Alabama and wanted to exchange gifts since they won't be able to make it here for Christmas. When she opened the box, the boots were a size 7 and the box was labeled 8.5. I ordered 8.5. Kohl's is 2 hours away from my house so I couldn't just drive to exchange them. I tried to report the boots and the link brought my to a blank page. There is no way I can find to make a complaint.
I purchased earrings on line, I got a email said my order is ready to pick up. I didn't pick up this order. They don't know where this order is, and dont care, the customer care did care about me or my order. All she was want to refund my money back on these earrings from your store, and your mess up, someone stole my earrings. This is bad business for khol store. I think they need to do better job for their customers, we keep them in business.
Answer: Don't know about Canada, but NO THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! They can't even figure out to send a glass picture frame in a box instead of a plastic bag. TWICE! And forget about a refund. Shop elsewhere, anywhere else.
