Online order nightmare

I placed an order online and 2 items were only available to be picked up at the store and they o the rest of the order was going to be shipped to me which was not a problem. The total order was $105.15 and I used my debit card for the order. 2 days later I just happened to check my bank account and discovered the total payment was deducted from account in 2 parts and I had a pending debit in my account for the full order of $105.15 meaning I was unable to access that amount. I contacted the customer service for Kohls.com and the rep stated that there was a hold for the full order amount on my bank account because I needed to pick up the 2 items from the store first. I expressed my disappointment to the rep but she did not seem to care. When I went to store to pick up my items, the sales clerk said that was not the policy policy and said my bank may have made a mistake. Needless to say it was not the bank's fault and after speaking a supervisor at kohls.com the next I was informed that was the policy to place a hold for the full balance of a order on your account it part or all of your order needs to be picked up at the store. This will be my last time ordering online. I am very disappointed because I really like the clothes for my children.

I placed a wrong order online and wanted a return. It is a simple return request. It took me 3 weeks back and forth messages and calls with customer service. They wasted me so much time and energy. Still they don't have a resolution for me! On going... What a moron company! Why you make it so difficult! They just want me to pick it up and send it back in person to a store. But not everyone live close to a store or have the time to do it. It is a big heavy box! Why is it so hard for you to provide a shipping label and pick up? It is simply STUPIDITY!

We ordered our kids shirts online for school yesterday. Great sales! However, Kohl's decided to deliver our entire package MINUS 1 shirt to our house. This 1 shirt was sent to a store for reasons unbeknownst to us, that's nowhere near where we live. SO... we call customer service. The first guy said to call the store it was shipped to, have them cancel the shirt order. We call the store... they tell us they can't do that and to call customer service. We call customer service again. 2nd person says they have no idea why Kohl's shipped one shirt to a store while the rest is sent to our house. "Blame us", is what was said and to again, call the store and have them cancel it. Sooooo we call the store again and NOPE, they won't. She said wait 5-7 days and the money will be back in our account because after 5 days if nobody comes to pick it up, then it's cancelled anyway. So we call customer service again to see if there's anyway to cancel the shirt now, OR have them ship the shirt to us with the rest of the order. Nooooope. 3rd customer service said they can't do that BUT... we can order the shirt AGAIN, pay in full. Again. Then wait for the money from the original order to be back in our account, and they'd make sure the shirt was delivered to our house. We asked why, if we haven't picked up that shirt, instead of charging us again, why they can't just have the store where the shirt was at ship it to us OR, cancel the shirt right now phone, and once again reminded them this was an error on their end. They said they knew but of course couldn't do anything. So, we won't ever see the original shirt we ordered and are just gonna wait to get our $18 bucks back.

Let me start by saying that I am an avid Kohl's shopper. I frequently go to Kohl's and have not had a bad experience until recently. I was sent a gift from Kohl's.com it was a pair of pajamas and a coffee mug. The package arrived in a plastic envelope bag. I opened the bag and stuck my hand in to see what was inside. I was immediately cut and started bleeding. Since this was a gift I had no idea what was in the package. Whoever packed this for shipment simply wrapped the pajamas around the mug and placed it into the bag. This was completely negligent and there is no way anyone could have thought this was the proper way to ship a ceramic mug! The mug was completely shattered with sharp jagged edges on all sides and the pajamas had holes in them from shifting around the broken ceramic. I called the number on the receipt and I was told how sorry they were and that a manager would call me in 24 hours. 5 days passed and I hadn't heard anything. I called back and was told that I wouldn't be hearing from anyone because they refunded the value of the mug to the purchaser. No mention of the pajamas with holes in them and no mention of the fact that I was physically injured! I kept asking them what about my injuries and they just kept calling my bleeding finger an "inconvenience". I asked to speak with a manager and a very rude representative (Ron) told me that he was the highest person within the company to speak with and that there was nothing he could do then essentially hung up on me. This experience has been the worst experience I have ever encountered with a store/ company. I will never shop here again.

Their online shopping experiences is amazing too, and their reward system is really worth it.

I have been a Kohls customer for years and will continue to shop in the store but will NOT be using the website anymore. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Placed an order and when the shipment had no movement for 10 days I called as I needed the item for vacation by a certain date. I called and I had to Reorder and PAY again for the 2nd item. Customer service said they would refund me once a ticket was issued. Then I get an email that says oh we have changed the date for your shipment and we won't be refunding you. The new date was 3 weeks after the order and the item still isn't here. The 2nd order isn't here either and they promised expedited shipment and it was promised to be here several days ago. They proceeded to tell me I would have to go return the other pair to the store myself in order to get the refund. This was NOT what I was told when I called the first time. I had to speak to 3 supervisors to get them to honor what they had promised. Aside from that, I had a hard time understanding them due to limited English fluency and they tried to blame ME for the issue and suggest that due to MY schedule I wouldn't be able to get the package. So not I still have neither order and my refund hasn't shown up on my account. So very disappointed as Kohls is one of my favorite stores.

I have countless transaction with this company and I cannot say any bad about them before but their customers service is getting worse. I ordered a pair of men shoes last week and I am expecting it to come Monday but it wasn't delivered. I called them, and a customer service representative answered my call and couldn't give me valid reasons why it wasn't delivered when their item tracker says it should be sent that day. The guy and I lasted 30 mins on the phone issues unresolved and I am really disappointed. I hope they improve their customer service because their customers will surely turn away if this get even worse.

I placed an order on a Tuesday... for two pair of childrens shoes. Paid $28 for two day shipping, only to find one pair of shoes arrived. The other pair is estimated to be delivered 9 days from the order date.

Called the less than helpful customer service only to be told this was my error. If you shop on the app, you have to select the delivery method for each item you purchase. They would not refund the exorbitant shipping since I did not catch it at the time of checkout or my email confirmation of the order. No where is it obvious that you check each item for the $28 rush shipping despite what common sense would conclude.

Business will be taken elsewhere and lesson learned. No shoes for an event tomorrow. Sad to see good customer service is a rarity these days.

If you have months to give up to get merchandise that is defective and agree to pay for items you still don't have- then give it a try! There policies are unethical, backwards and should be illegal!

Kohls has some pretty good sale prices. When I don't have any product problems, Kohls.com is adequate. But Beware: the website customer service has been highly unreliable for me. I've talked to reps and mgrs in the Nicaragua call center and it also sounds like they've got an Indian call center. Some English language barriers, and sounds like reps will just read chapter/verse of rules. I've gotten conflicting info from reps, finally had to have their mgr give me the right info. Very confusing and frustrating because often it seems like they don't completely understand what I'm saying. I speak slowly and without an accent. No help. Kohls.com when I review a product prohibits you from saying ANYTHING negative about your cust svc experience with them. I was forced to finally put in my review simply that Kohls won't let me talk about my cust svc purchase/return experience, and only that I bought x product and then I returned it. Yes, the sun rose in the morning and then the sun set in the evening. About same value of their review if you had a problem experience. Long as you had no problem with purchase, then the use of the site is ok. Truly nothing exceptional.

My experience with Kohls has been nothing less than rewarding. After reading some of your customer reviews, I immediately cancelled my account. I will be watching for my refund. I just dont need any of this dishonest business. What a shame!

NO customer service!

I love shopping at Kohl's in Bismarck but have had the worst customer service for my internet order. I ordered a chair and ottoman set on the last day of a Kohl's cash earning period which I would have received $60 and had 2 promo codes saving me almost $150. The next day I receive an email that my order was cancelled. When I called in, they said it was because they needed to do a payment verification since I made 2 payments on my account in the same day... apparently this isn't a good thing to do? Anyways, I spent 30 minutes on the phone and talked to 3 different people, the last one being a customer service supervisor (Ann). They did nothing to rectify the situation because they cannot reproduce the Kohl's cash since it is computer generated. They wouldn't do a price change because they needed a justifiable reason to... really?! What's more justified then you cancelled my order because I'm giving you more money?! If I didn't love my local store, I would absolutely stop shopping with Kohl's because of this. Customer service is no longer a priority with companies today.

Self - Verified Buyer.

I tried to exchange a defective electronic product, that I purchased at a discount over Christmas season, for a non-defective product and they asked me to return it for my money back ($60) and asked me to go online and purchase it again for the undiscounted price of $150. That is 2.5 times what I originally purchased it for when it was THERE store product that was defective. Thanks for the misleading exchange/return policies.

Even the lady next to me was asked to pay the financial difference of her defective product that was purchased at a discount for the non-defective one that was no longer on sale.

Worst Customer Service

Purchased online items. Order sent to incorrect address. Advised Rep by phone and they stated they would correct immediately before box 2,3, and 4 shipped. Called the next day and still not resolved. Box 2 mailed to wrong address. Called and emailed again and advised it would be corrected. Box 3 mailed to incorrect address. Called and emailed again. They advised me to drive 320 miles to the incorrect address and pickup boxes 1-3. They mailed 4th box to incorrect address. Numerous calls to a foreign country where not one representative was helpful. Never received merchandise and never received refund. However, they were sorry about my problem and offered me a 15% discount on a new order. No Thank You. Will never shop at Kohls again!

Calling customer service very slow; difficult to understand. Ordered 4 items dec 30 one delivered in 10 Days. 3 items same order not received as of January 19. Fedex claims address incorrect however the blanket was delivered using the same address.
Products being returned to kohls. They will credit my acct when they receive them. They want me to call back and reorder? Lengthy phone calls to who knows where, taking over 15 minutes and difficult to communicate with CS. Now they reordered it gave 20 discount and 2 day shipping. C s trying to help but kohls has bigger issues. I still wait for the credit but its better than having to call back.

Kohl's does not deserve a fraction of a star. It's almost criminal. If you buy anything here expect the sale to be FINAL. You will not get a refund to save your life. I wait for the day this place finally dies off like Sears.

I would give my local Kohls store a 5. I love to shop there, and I especially love getting Kohls cash. However, their online ordering system is a disaster, and I would give it a 1. Wrong items sent. Items not received. When I went into the store to try and resolve an online problem, I was told that the stores and the online are two different systems and the store cant help me with online problems. So, I will continue shopping at the store but will not order online again.
