It has now been 3 months and there isn't a resolution on this matter, I lost my money and I am having to send my son to school without a laptop... DON'T BUY IT, IT IS RUBBISH!
Worst Customer service
Iam finding it so hard to deal with Kogan! I don't even have a parcel that I paid for as it been lost in the TOLL Courier. They've put me on to "Costway" who doesn't even understand english or what the hell I'm requesting. This has been the worst experience. I just want to talk to someone in Australia. I basically need them to contact Toll and give permission to leave my parcel without signature as requested by TOLL... TOLL has lost my package Anyways which is another thing I need help with. I'm about to tell them to send it back (where ever it is) and never deal With kogan ever ever EVER again. Customer service all round has been terrible. And I still dont have a product I paid for. OH and they can't even find my order details. Bad service all round indeed
Absolute nightmare trying to contact kogan. My first ever purchase from this horrible compatibility states that as a first time customer my postage is free. For the next two months they continued to take money out of my bank! I cannot contact them even though I had my password to my account. Absolutely crooked company. I have had to cancel my bank card to stop payments to them! NEVER AGAIN. BEWARE!
Told to be at home between 8am and 6pm for my delivery. This was confirmed by text. Took the day off work in today's difficult job situation and consignment had not arrived, no one can give me and answer and all I get is we will investigate and deliver to a new address... wtf I want me purchase and payment for a days loss of wages BUT... they use an offshore call

Lol. They also charged me for 1 month of membership that I didn't want, but you subscribe when you buy something.
I know is cheap stuff, but they simply don't work.

Bought a cabinet, arrived broken. There is no number to call, only email. I emailed and requested a replacement and I sent them photos. They refused to replace, only refund. I know they have stock, as i emailed them from a third party email asking them so. I have now one week later requested a refund, and no answer. They do not answer emails, they do not call customers on request, there is no customer service, no values or morals *** BUYER BE AWARE*** IF YOUR SMART YOU WILL BUY ELSEWHERE. Somewhere that value repeat customers

Purchased a Smart TV from Kogan in 2016 with 5 years extended warranty. Started having issues in March. Given many patches to install but never back to original condition. A few weeks back we couldn't use any of the smart features apart from NetFlix. Kogan sent us a could of patches and nothing worked. They then sent a new patch and then even Netflix would not work.
They then advised they would arrange pick up within 3 days. 10 days later TV still not picked up nor even scheduled for pick up.
Communication with Kogan is nigh impossible. It is all done via email and promises are made and routinely broken. There appears to be no escalation process. The sales team say they dont have access to the service issues.
Presently we have a Smart TV in name only. As I am writing this review I have no idea when/if the TV will be fixed.
Purchased a tv from this company and it is no longer working have trying to get it replaced for weeks only getting the run around. I'll not buy anything from this company again and strongly recommend that none deals with them either

We had a Kogan air fryer for close to 2 years and during that time it appeared to perform well. Upon cleaning it I found small metal fragments throughout the top fan section. I removed the fan cover and was astonished to find them throughout the fan area. We have never cleaned the machine with a metal scourer so the shavings were coming off the machine itself.
Worried for the health of my family I stopped using the machine and made contact with kogan.com to inform them about the faulty product. To put it simply they couldn't care less. They responded by saying it was normal wear and tear and that they product was no longer under warranty. I explained to them that I was not requesting a warranty claim of any kind and was simply informing them out of concern for others who may be hurt from such a faulty machine.
I could not believe Kogan's response and will never buy another appliance from Kogan again. You think they would want to inspect the machine in case a recall was required. I have reported the unsafe product to the www.productsafety.gov.au website and hope to god our one is the only faulty machine out there.
Took my money - still waiting - 3 months!
I ordered and paid for a Xiaomi M365 500W PRO electric scooter in July 2020. I was told it had been despatched. When it didnt turn up they told me they were out of stock. I was promised a delivery in July – nothing, then promised delivery in August – nothing, next promise was end of September - nothing, now they are saying another 6 weeks and I may not get the brand I ordered but a copy? That is complete nonsense. KOGAN & their partner T&R Sports are unreliable, make promises they don't honour, so DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KOGAN OR T&R SPORTS - you will be kept waiting while they use YOUR money.
Bought a new laptop from Kogan, where the product images clearly show a CD drive on the side of the laptop. When arrived, the laptop was the correct laptop with all the other specs and product number correct, but did not have a CD drive as per the product images.
The laptop was bought for immediate use in a medical and dental clinic, and had already been integrated into the existing hardware and software (eg. Xray units). After having multiple back-and-forth emails with customer service (Ron), explaining the situation, each email stated the same thing - that they could only "assess" the laptop once it was returned/sent back before going deciding on the appropriate course of action. Photos of the product and serial number etc were submitted, and various suggestions were offered in lieu of going through the timely process of return, assessment, and refund/redelivery as that would mean part of the clinic would be unable to function entirely.
In the end, as per Consumer Affairs Victoria, I offered to retain the product and instead accept compensation for loss in value of the product, so I could just buy a USB CD drive to plug in. However, Ron was still insistent it needed to be returned to be "assessed" prior to any other action. Disappointing customer service and will not be using Kogan ever again.
Buyer beware - False advertising on their product images
I had to return an unopened phone to Kogan. No phone support, no chat. Had to use email where I was mislead about my refund. In the end I only received 80% store credit, had to return the phone out of my pocket. They charged me over $500 to return a brand new unopened phone. Do not buy from Kogan.
I ordered a pair of 5Kg dumbbells through Kogan but to my surprise they are 2.5kg each. I am pretty sure I ordered 5kg each.
Then I went back and checked my order, it says 5kg Dumbbell set. Then I realized that its trick wording that Kogan uses to trick their customers into buying products like this.
Very disappointed with this. I got the order delivered late plus its incorrect.
Be warned. You CANNOT ring Kogan with a problem about your product. You have to go via it's "helpdesk" (haha) which simply refers you, again and again, to the product manual.
I spent $377 (including postage) on a bicycle that never arrived. I emailed customer service and they told me the delay was due to industrial action at Port Botany. They refunded my money within a few days so overall they did well in a bad situation.
Bought a treadmill about 3 weeks ago. Made it up and two of the screws were missing, so called them up, have to send them emails, send about 3 emails and they said they would send out them out. Three weeks later, still waiting. Won't be buying anything from these guys again, absolute joke
Paid for Lenoxx Cd & Record Player Home Entertainment Centre on 30 July. My first "purchase" with them. Took my money. Heard nothing for 3 weeks. Then delivered to wrong address. No phone no. To ring. Emails by me mostly ignored. Initiated for refund through Paypal. Kogan asked me for my address (again!) which I sent and they haven't responded to after 4 days! 7 weeks has elapsed now! They still have delivered NOTHING and have my money! Avoid this company. They have 43% of their reviews at the lowest possible rating in one consumer rating review that I read, and apparently heaps of matters referred to Consumer Affairs. They continue to bombard me with unwanted advertising material too. Deal with JB HiFi. A reputable business, rather than this mob.
Purchased a tripod for my PIQO projector, after a few days I asked what is happening with my purchase, they said it was out of stock...? I asked why did they take my money KNOWING that their merchandise is still in CHINA? They gave me silly answers... DO NOT BUY! SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND FRUSTRATION!
