This post is made on behalf of my dearest friend who is now beside herself and unable to make this comment due to her distress.
I booked a flight for the 29th July 2019 but the email confirmation came through as the 29th August 2019...
I called the "help desk" within 10 minutes of making the booking to inform them of this error and try to correct it. The "help desk" kindly informed me that I could not amend the flight date and had to get a refund which would take 90 DAYS (which is not guaranteed!). They then told me that I could get an instant refund of a whopping £40 instead... What a joke!
So, thanks to this ludicrous fiasco I cannot proceed with our fertility treatment as the additional flights I had to book have left us short for the treatment costs. Thank you so much for your fantastic support during this incredibly stressful time of our lives and for preventing our last chance of having a family (100% sarcasm, just in case it was not clear).
To anyone thinking about using this provider, if you have any sense at all, DO NOT USE KIWI.COM! They have left us devastated.
Please do yourself a favor and do not use them. KIWI IS A SCAM! You may think you are getting a good deal but they neglect to tell you connecting flights must claim bag and go thru the entire check in process. If you miss your connect their so called "guarantee" is bs they come with excuses to make it your fault. I just missed a flight that was almost impossible to catch due to a delay and the customer service reps did not help me at all. They are rude & simply dont care. I had to purchase another flight & pay for hotel in Denmark where I was suppose to connect. The most terrible experience I ever had flying. Also they dont tell you to after you book that you have to claim luggage at all your connects which can make it impossible to catch your next flight. Each flight has a separate airline so you have to pay for luggage and check the weight allowance. It ends up being more expensive and a difficult way to travel. I have never felt more duped and frustrating. I cant even get a refund for the 2nd flight of my trip even though it is kiwis fault!

I booked a flight with Kiwi, and when I went to check out their site or my phone had an issue and failed to load. I assumed that the booking failed. I promptly rebooked with another company.
Shortly thereafter Kiwi sent me an e-mail confirming the flight. I tried to cancel, but it was too late. After notifying the company they waited a month to say they couldn't refund.
Painful lesson. Don't trust these BS flight booking sights. Learn from my mistake. Stay away!
My son was in Kyiv, and needed to make an urgent trip to Mink. He called me on his way to the airport, and I made his reservation with kiwi on a flight departing in a few hours. After waiting over an hour and only seeing that the booking was "processing" and a travel document would be sent "soon," I called Kiwi's help line (a toll call). The person who answered the phone was difficult to understand due to her accent, and made no attempt whatever to help. She simply parroted the party line that it could take four hours to "process" a booking. The fact that the flight was leaving in a few hours made no difference whatever. If I chose to cancel the Kiwi booking and book the travel elsewhere in order to get the travel document before the flight left, I should fill out a webform, but it would be a "voluntary cancellation" and thus subject to a fee. In the end, my son got his travel document shortly before the flight left, but Kiwi made a stressful situation exponentially worse.
Make sure you call them before you leave the online check-in up to them. One time they check you online without your knowledge, the other time they do not check you online at all and you are required to pay airport processing fee which could amount the half of the ticket price.
Kiwi has horrible customer service. I had an international reservation and incredibly I was never given an opportunity to view a seating chart to select a seat, much less receive a seat assignment. This has never happened to me. It took 48 hours to request one or the other to kiwi.com. Their return email said SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE. What? I also asked if there was food service or whether we would bring our own food. My contact didn't know. These people are beyond belief. I called KLM and they gave me a seat assignment in a heartbeat; what if I hadn't? KIWI is scary; I'm stuck with them for now, but use them at your own risk.
It is horrible! Please do not buy tickets through this company. It is a ghost company. There is no support whatsoever.
I called a number from kiwi and seconds after someone called stating it was kiwi and wanted me to buy a refund card on some sort in order for me to receive a refund (DO NOT FALL FOR THIS). After contacting my credit card company to sort out the payment they manage to access my account after giving them verifications. Then after minutes the said refund was then gone from my account and then when I called kiwi again they stated that it was no longer there and coulnt give me an explaination. DO NOT TRUST KIWI!
I ordered a flight from Kiwi.com. When they sent the confirmation code from the airline, it did not work! When I asked for a cancellation, they did not refund me the whole amount. This was even within 24hrs!
I had to buy a plane ticket from the airline itself and then the amount that Kiwi kept.

The customer service is horrible, they can not speak English. We canceled our flight after 1 hour they charged $690 dollars. They don't even listen to you. But let me tell all of you please call your your credit card company and cancel the transaction. Please note: do not over 24 hours to call them. Thanks to my credit company.
I bought a duplicate ticket because the site did not confirm the first purchase. Days after the purchase and well before the flight I realized the duplicity of charge on my card and I contacted them. Of the more than 20 emails that I exchanged with them, they gave me ONLY 29.92 euros of the 536.63 expenses.

We had two easyjet flights - luggage was not checked through and first plane was delayed (without getting any notification by the staff) and no change to get the connection flight. No support, no refund whatsoever from Kiwi

And then, even after they scammed me after I cancelled a flight within 24 hours and they refused to refund the money, they keep sending me advertisements about my trip. It was cancelled you idiots. If you ever see a KIWI.com search, book directly with the airlines involved and you will save tons of money.
Prenoto volo madrid-bogota, mi defalcano 600 dal conto bancario e dopo tre ore mi scrivono che il biglietto è aumentato da 600 a 2600. A me la scelta: pagare la differenza o essere rimborsato. E pazienza se ho già prenotato altri voli in coincidenza + l'albergo. Affari miei! Scelgo il rimborso tramite paypal fruibile in 24h. Le 24h sono passate, il rimborso non è arrivato. Decido comunque fiducioso di effettuare una seconda prenotazione cambiando i giorni del volo. Stavolta mi vengono sottratti 650. Mi arriva un messaggio dopo due ore. La compagnia ha cambiato i prezzi: aggiungi 4000 (si, 4000) o cancella la prenotazione. Morale: 1250 in meno nel mio account, nessun biglietto ed una merdadi email automatica come unica indicazione sul da farsi.

I am extremely unhappy with my Kiwi experience. 3 days before my flight, I received an email that part of my trip had been cancelled. Mind you, this was a 32-hour trip taking me from Thailand to Ohio.
This part might be on me, but only slightly, as I did not see the email within the ridiculously low 24-hour window they allow for free rebooking. This cancellation caused me to miss a connection in San Francisco, forcing me to buy a whole extra ticket costing $600, on top of the original $700 I had paid.
I even bought the insurance, "Travel Basic." One might assume that such an instance would be covered by this insurance, because why wouldn't it be? Well, if you haven't figured it out yet... this was not covered. Apparently this total scam of a "Trip Cancellation" insurance only covers cancellations caused by medical emergencies.
Another cost was incurred due to this websites incompetence, as I had to call and spend close to 1-hour arguing with 2 different departments trying to make the situation right. Since my cancellation left me stranded in the Philippines without cell service, my only option was to use the hotel phone and pay their long distance charges.
At the end of the day, I bought a ticket to get me from point A to point B, and the company let me down and left me stranded in a foreign country. I will never use Kiwi again and will do my part to make sure none of my friends or family are burned by this website in the future.
Before we book the ticket, we asked is it possible to fly with a puppy and they said yes, it is totally possible so we bought a ticket and they said we can't bring a puppy... this is a Scam! We asked the cancellation, and of course they said, we have to wait for 30 days and it is not guaranteed that we will get the refund... What is wrong with them? Never ever again!
This is a horrible company. I google searched flights and found a flight from kiwi.com and bought my ticket. When I got to the airport, I was told I didn't have a seat. Kiwi.com would not give me my refund! They gave me the run around over and over again.
So many changes to our flights and layovers, very uncomfortable. I hope that they improve these issues in the future
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
