Terrible services, I booked a flight with this site and not only did they not follow through with the reservation but they also refused to give me my money back
I have been waiting 6 months for a refund. The airline has confirmed they returned the flight fees to Kiwi, but they refuse to send the money back. Customer service is unresponsive and rude when approached. Their business processes and ethics are practically criminalistic and unacceptable.
My flight was cancelled in February 2020, and one of the staff members promised me that they'll give my money back within 6 months. That $#*!ing 6 months is already gone, and I still haven't receive my money. I checked with the flight company, and I found that Kiwi.com ate my money. IT IS A BULL$#*!. NEVER USE KIWI.COM
My outbound flight got cancelled and I had to rebook the flight paying an additional 150euro. Then the inbound flight Was cancelled and I did not receive any notification. Therefore I lost my money. I definitely do not recommend it!
Whenever I asked for refund they said provide us this, provide us that and I did provide them everything single thing they asked for. Then they said we will take care of this and it will take maximum up to 3 months and after 3 months I started contacting them guess what happened? They said it will take more time. They are playing with me. Stop playing games with me. Just give me my money back please. I am not here to play games with you okay. And telling other people PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS KIWI.COM SCAMMERS. They are all liars and I don't even know how long they are gonna take to get my money back and I don't even know I'm gonna get my money back or not. There are so many online ticket provider and chose them cause KIWI.COM IS FRAUD AND THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
So I was in a hurry to book flight and come back since all the airports were locking down. I found a ticket for 970 euros on kiwi with connecting flights. I was happy I finally found a ticket. I pack my suitcases and wake up very early for the airport. Only to find out there was no such flight. Not even a customer service. I check my account the money has been deducted. The only money in my account is gone and I need to get back. Kiwi. Com are so wicked. How can you book someone on a flight that's not even there. How mean can you be
SCAMMERS, don't ever use kiwi.com. It has been 6 months since I requested refund for my cancelled flight and nothing. Email that I used to communicate with someone is not working anymore and they send you link to their webpage which after signing in doesn't give me option to contact them because I don't have upcoming flights. DO NOT USE KIWI.COM and book directly trough airline.
I arrived at the airport and my friends got an email with a link to get a Qr code for flying to spain. I never got any emails about this, so assumed i would get it on the airplane like the last time when i flew from spain to amsterdam, but when i was just about to board they asked me for it (wizz air) and told me ice cold i couldnt fly without it?! The flight was delayed for 45min already and no one bother to tell anyone about it, if it was so important you could have at least checked this. In this case no good word for Wizz air either. Last minute we made it thanks to my friend who explained he had it because he got an email and we never did, so they guy handed us this so called covid health check form and we quickly filled it in and made it on the airplane, but for me it's unacceptable to out people in these kind of situations because the airline company or kiwi.com can't be bother to send us the necessary forms we need to fly somewhere.
Refused to provide refund for airline cancelled flights despite my purchase of cancellation coverage. Talked with airlines directly and they confirmed their policy provides refunds for these situations.
I like many others should have read the reviews before booking though this company. I booked a set of flights to the countries in Europe allowing American travelers during COVID on October 5th, and 3 days later there were "changes" to the itinerary and was given 48 hrs to choose a new flight, in which the "alternatives cost much more than the originally booking". I'm curious what happens after that 48hrs. Do you forfeit your money along with the flight? I was tempted to wait and see if suddenly the flights were back on and I'd get another notification.
The changes included: cancellations, delays, and rescheduled flights days earlier or later. How would that even work? Instead of a day layover in Ireland which I chose intentionally my option was 34 hrs in DC... which would cause me to miss yet another connecting flight. The alternatives are not true alternatives for one they make you pay extra and then it changes again.
I actually found the same suggested flight in a re-search because I was skeptical and a portion of the original one refunded and booked the cheaper, which ended up getting "changed" too with them again asking for more fees to choose and alternative.
I tried contacting them. Customer service over the phone is non-existent over the phone. You actually get disconnected if you don't have a flight within 24hrs and their chat function? Ha. You get an email auto reply.
I eventually went to my bank because I felt like I'd been played and placed a dispute. As my trip that was scheduled for 2 weeks from now doesn't seem like it's even going to happen because this service is unreliable. Out of the 25 countries and airlines I've traveled through, this agency is the worst. There was no way for me to make accommodations because 4 different flights kept changing layover destinations and days and lengths. It just wasn't worth it, and it's a shame companies like Kayak funnel users to it. In short, it's the cheapest but you don't even get what you paid for.
Heck, some people show up to the airport and the agency never even booked their flight while they pocketed the money.
They Change my booking to a day earlier and 12 hours overnight connection wait. No refund no response to my e-mails. I have to fight my money back!
This is the worst company I have ever encountered. I booked 2 flights - each with one stop. During less than one week they changed my flights, extending my waiting periods in transit airports by 11,5 hours!
And the changes keep coming. It is insane. They do not answer any calls and the help center messaging function, doesn't even open. I have tried everything.
Please, do yourself a favor and never use this dishonest, deciding and double-dealing
Company, as well as it's miserable, non-existent customer service.
They cancel tickets and do not provide any refunds. They say they do provide priority service. But we we purchase their services they don't even care about their customers. Never ever book from kiwi
All sounded professional until we arrived at the airport. To my surprise I was told the email and card details used to book were not matching with mine! It took quite a while to convince the booking was genuine. The airline staff told me to avoid using them in future. They shouldn't be on skyscanner site.
My flights were cancelled due to COVID and I requested a refund in May and I have not received my flight credits yet. Customer service is weak and rude. Customer service told me that I should pay them money to get my money back. Stay a way from this company.
6 months after my travel plans were canceled because of international travel bans because of the worst plague in 100 years, and these scammers have tried everything in the book to keep my money and not give me anything in return. They cower behind the most baffling refund policy I have ever encountered in my life and criminally abysmal customer service, and will tell you that there's nothing that they can do so many times in a row that you will wonder if you are talking to the world's most inept and impotent service team.

They don't care about you at all, they only want to take your money and provide you with as little as possible in return.
The only redeeming thing is that after they still are refusing to give me back my money for half of a calendar year, there is increasing and increasing disgruntled customer support groups that are organizing legal action.
It's really weird that they want to be dragged to court instead of treating their customers fairly.
When bad things happen, you really learn about the character of a company. Kiwi.com happens to be of the scummy variety. They will steal your money while delivering 0 value to the customer
Purchased multiple flights from them prior to the pandemic. After the pandemic hit, the airlines cancelled the flights, not me. Tried to get refunds for all my flights through Kiwi and they failed to get me a single dollar back from any of my flights that got cancelled. Tried to insult their customers by offering weak $12 refunds on their website and it worked
Waited around 3 months for them to get my refund, only to receive an email telling me sorry they failed to get me a refund, with no compensation from them. I ended up paying multiple hundreds of dollars and received nothing in return. What's interesting is that they took their cut but refused to give anything back, even though they delivered absolutely nothing. Terrible
All other companies I requested refunds from delivered, so they really have no excuses. If you have to steal money from your customers in order to stay in business, you're a criminal. Terrible businesses deserve to go out of business. Looking forward to this company going under in the near future
Waiting over 5 months for a refund for flights not taken in July due to COVID. Had no response from them said could take up to 3 months.
Fraudulent Booking website amd biggest thieves in the market. My biggest mistake was to not read reviews about them before booking. If I had then wouldn't have lost my hard earned money. I had to wait for 7 months for refund for The flight which was cancelled by carrier 15 days before departure. And that too 158 dhs received out of 603 dhs paid for booking. Reason? Only this much received from carrier. Another bizarre reason? Because I made a rebooking for one way ticket(In their dreams). And all of these claims without any evidence or document. They say and you are supposed to believe it.
Kiwi is a terrible company they refuse to give me a refund for my flights i paid for 4 flights for July 2nd the flight was cancelled the airline agreed to refund me the cost of the tickets however kiwi are refusing to request a refund from the airline and the airline have said the refund must be requested by kiwi.
After the flights was cancelled when i call kiwi it requests my customer number when i input my customer number it disconnects the call.

Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
