This was the worst experience ive ever encountered when booking a flight through Kiwi.com. When I purchased the ticket from Kiwi.com it was clearly mentioned direct flight from Washington to Istanbul. Additionally, I've Kiwi's written confirmation that this is the direct flight to Istanbul, but when I arrived at the airport, Turkish airline informed me that this ticket has a connecting flight to Italy and US citizens are not allowed to travel to Italy due to Covid-19 restrictions. Also, Turkish airline told me that this website is deceiving people and your ticket is not valid. However, I called Kiwi.com customer service again and again to resolve this issue or refund my money, but they said sorry we can't do anything to help you. You need to buy another ticket. As a result, I lost my money and missed the flight. Kiwi.com is a scam. People should never purchase their tickets from this website.
Booked a flight back in February and my flight was cancelled due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Kiwi's contact number is absolutely useless, they only prioritize phone calls for those who are about to travel, so as soon as my flight was cancelled, I couldn't contact Kiwi. I messaged Kiwi and was told my refund would be given; 8 months have passed and I tried reaching out again and was told that I do not get a refund. They blamed it on Contour Airlines and to which I contacted Contour was was told that Kiwi is a third party that has my money and should have requested to waive my fee because I did not travel for this flight. Terrible customer service and terrible experience and to top it off, I did not receive any money back from this trip. SCAM!
The worst online booking company! Liars, fraudsters and thieves! They will absolutely not help you in anything. All the time, they will tell you that there is nothing they can do for you! Even if you cancel the flight a month in advance. Their application is made to easily deceive you. There is a possibility to refound for 10 euros, which looks like a cancellation fee, but this information is misleading, they will return only 10 euros to you, even if you pay them 230 euros! Never, ever, ever buy anything through them! Absolutely inhuman approach, they will just invent and lie just so they don't have to return anything to you! If you don't care about problems and don't want to lose money. Avoid this company.
kiwi.com, I thought will be with European moral and ethic, but found out (1) they were selling tickets of the airlines which do not have permission to fly during lock down, (2) later the airlines cancel the flights, and (3) kiwi.com do not refund in proper way. For me it is now 5 months, still yet did not receive the refund. Also I will probably loose around 200-300 euro, where everything was kiwi's scam. Technically my life became problematic with lose of money. "Never Ever Buy or Suggest Anyone to Buy Tickets from KiWI.com"
Don't buy a ticket from them! I bought a ticket this summer. Kiwi took money from my card, sent me a plane ticket. When I came to board the plane, the airline said that my ticket was not valid. Kiwi took money from my card, but did not transfer it to the airline. For more than 3 months, the Kiwi company has been ignoring me, the money has not been returned.
Terrible company and rubbish customer service. I booked flights for me and my dad and when i tried to change flights no one got back to me through the help desk even when i sent lots of messages. When i could finally call and get through 14 day before i could fly again not every helpful looks like i won't get my money back now. I definitely won't be booking with them again and will book my own flights next time! I would advise not to book with this company and do some research and book your own flights and hotels.
Is been over 6 months and still nothing on there part, if I don't write to them there's no follow up on there part, there said it would take 3 months to resolve the refund from my cancel flights in may 2nd, yet here we are, nothing yet and all they responded to me was a genetic email with same excuse. Stay away from Kiwi.com go with Expidia.com or Booking.com way better customer service and they handle all there returns on time. You have been warned stay away from Kiwi.com!
When I bought a one way ticket, I did mistake on the date. So I canceled this ticket and booked another one, same passenger, same destination but different date of departure. What happen with the first one? I lost it because they refused to refund it. Only few hours between the first ticket and the second one. Less than 24 hours transaction and they don't do anything. They just steal me 2300$ from my pocket. Easy money for them. Don't buy anymore from Kiwi.com. Very dangerous and thief company.
I booked two flights with Kiwi that canceled due to covid, paid kiwi additional money to expedite my refund and never received a penny back! Customer service is the worst!
Since 8 months my flights have been cancelled by the airlines for a trip that I (unfortunately) booked via Kiwi.com. Since 8 months, I'm in contact with Kiwi.com. Trying to call them, sending them endless emails and endless messages on their live chat. Only ca. 2% of my calls even go through to their "customer service", the rest just bounces off. None of my emails and none of my inquiries on their live chats get answered. IF I get through on the phone, the "customer service" tells me to be patience and relax... It's been 8 months and I'm still waiting to hear back from the airlines or Kiwi.com. This company left me completely alone in this whole process and just showed me how unreliable they are as a business partner. They completely ignored my case from day 1. It just shows how much they really value their customers. It's one thing to grow as a company. But in moments like this, the character of a company really shows. And the face that Kiwi.com has shown in this pandemic is ugly and disgusting. I lost out on a lot of money because of Kiwi.com. Money, that people don't have during a pandemic. Kiwi.com should understand this and their customers. They shouldn't just ignore all their customers and hope that everyone accepts just losing money. Enough is enough, my patience has come to an end. This was definitely my very last booking with them. Truly dishonest and unprofessional company that takes profit out of other people's misery... Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Everyone who reads this: Please avoid this company!
Kiwi sold me a trip for 277 eur consisting in 4 flights, for which I paid the flexi option.
A flight was cancelled and kiwi offered me a totally different and uncomfortable time for another flight and I accepted the change and I had to pay Kiwi additional 54 eur (already you can see how this company works, exploiting the situation).
Another flight was cancelled and kiwi offered a trip flight consisting in 2 flights adding to my trip 20 hours of travel! And in addition requested me to pay 80 euro.
I tried to call kiwi but nobody answer to the phone and nobody answer to the messages. I checked on various websites and I saw there are available direct flights to buy as new tickets for prices lower than what Kiwi wants me to add to what I already paid for their 20 hours trip!
Booked tickets to fly to LA unfortunately due to COVID we could not fly due to the restrictions, both Virgin and kiwi let us know flights could be rebooked for a later date, kiwi proceeded to forgot to contact Virgin as our agent and since have refused to rebook our flights for different dates so far no refund and no flights
Please, do yourself a favor and never book something on kiwi.com. You will never see your money again. Every reply from them is a lie and they try everthing to keep your money even if the airline made a full refund.

Norwegian airlines refunded them our fare and they have kept it 4 months later they now wont take calls unless you have a new booking reference

Kiwi.com is a total scam. My flights were cancelled and refused to give me any refund back, despite multiple rounds of requests and discussions with them! Would never use them again and advise everyone else against getting anywhere near close them.
Companies like Kiwi.com should go out of business immediately and face legal repercussions.
Kiwi.com and his *******@OliverDlouhy are stealing thousand of people's money in silence and impunity! Personally, they cancelled my flight the next day I booked it! (Probably did they sell me a flight that was not even valid!) They asked me to pay for my dog's ticket within the 24hours without guarantee (more expensive than my own ticket!), even though they could not confirm me that the dog was allowed on the plane! SwissAir now confirmed me that the dog was not allowed, and that Kiwi never paid this money to them. They still have it + they received a full monetary refund from SwissAir for my own ticket, AND STILL KEEP THEIR F* SILENCE! Now, they "offer me generously" a voucher of less than 30% value of what I paid. I'm so f* furious! Keep you f* voucher and REFUND ME ENTIRELY NOW!

I have been stuck in another state because of kiwi. Their system picked and completely different flight and had me at 4 checked bags. I only had 1 bag. They stand by their policy and do not care about their customers at all. My niece died and my son was in danger in Chicago. Mind you I asked to change the flight so they can keep the money they wanted more money to do that from their error. Dont book with them PERIOD
So kiwi have told me they can't refund me my flight until Delta airlines have refunded them! GUESS WHAT? I contacted Delta Airlines directly and they said they don't receive the money until the flight has been taken and because my flight never went ahead they never received the money, therefore Kiwi have my money and need to issue the refund! Not answering calls and can't get through because my flight number is no longer recognised. Messages go unread... Absolutely disgusting. I have kids to feed! 21 weeks ago I applied for this refund!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
