I couldn't fly on 11th Aug due to the lockdown in my area. Looked for the dates change but they tried to charge for a full ticket price although Qatar airways offer it for free. This's ridiculous. Fortunately, the airlines changed it for me. What's an awful experience

The worst SCAMMERS! They took $1000 from me and the airline tells me no ticket is available for me because Kiwi hasn't forwarded my money to them. Now I'm waiting for a refund but nobody ever responds. I'm going to file a lawsuit against them.
Their refund policy is pretty bad
Their refund policy is really bad. They let you wait over a year. Even when government announced travel restrictions during COVID pandemic and the countries have closed the boarders but they refused to refund me. After chasing them for half year they just issued me 15% refund… be careful! They will take your money and don't give you back even when the flights were cancelled due to pandemic. They'll say they are working on it and give them 6 months but by the time, you won't be able to claim/dispute with credit card company.
Flight ******* with Norwegian air and Ryan air.
In February 2021, I bought a ticket through KIWI. After few days I received an email saying one of the segments from the whole flight has been canceled. I requested a refund on the same day. Since then I have not received my money back. On the top, they are not answering my call or email anymore.
It is my humble humble humble request, please do not buy any tickets on the KIWI platform.
Unfortunately there is no 0 stars and I have put at least 1. Believe me they don't worth it. If only you have a chance to avoid dealing with this company you must to avoid it.
They will double charge you,
Have little or NO communication (you can only talk to a real person 14 days before your trip),
Lackluster customer service,
And they will make changes to your flights itinerary that will make your trip more expensive.

As an update, on contacting them yet again, I was informed that my final refund had been received and was being processed. THREE MONTHS later after more emails and messages I received the final refund minus the £350 booking fees they kept. Also I am unable to claim the airline refund on the vouchers as they were booked with a Kiwi email and reference which I can't obtain from them. I would rather lose the money than put more money in Kiwi bank account.
In January 2020 I booked a two resort holiday using Kiwi.com for the multiple flights (7 through 5 different airlines). Before the pandemic really hit, one flight was cancelled and an alternative (at extra cost) was booked. In total I paid nearly £1,000 for flights. Then the world went crazy and the holiday was cancelled. I requested their no fee refund assistance and understood that it may take some time. I received vouchers from one airline almost immediately as these are of no monetary value to Kiwi.com A year later I am still contacting Kiwi in an attempt to get refunds, They refuse to pass on any information on what has been refunded and by which airline and refuse to pass on booking references so you cannot contact the airline direct. This company should be avoided at all costs

1. I bought an international round trip (2 legs each way) for my family of 4.
2. The third leg flight was cancelled by the airline.
3. Here is where the issues started: the options Kiwi.com gave me to replace the flight were not good for us.
4. They allowed me to deal directly with the airline and I found a solution, by adding one more stop to the return flight (5 legs now). I did on my own what Kiwi's customer service could not do.
5. Unfortunately, when I bought the tickets, I had made a mistake in my son's last name missing one letter.
6. I was able to make the correction directly with the airlines in 4 of the 5 legs. The last one was impossible due to the fact that Kiwi bought the ticket thru a company in Europe.
7. I called Kiwi and paid 30 Euros for them to make the change.
8. I called them twice a day for 5 days before they did anything. They finally admitted they were not able to make the change.
9. I lost the 30 euros and I had to buy a new ticket for my son for the missing leg.
10. Horrible customer service. I will never buy from Kiwi.com ever again.
I would never recommend or use this company again as a mediator for a flight. They don't provide you with most important information, don't take any responsibility for their mistakes, takes them extreme long to answer a request, in my case they needed almost one year to answer my emails, lost a lot of money because of them. What a robbery. Bad customer service! Choose reputable companies and mediators, not Kiwi!
I used them for a ticket and they changed my flight date in the confirmation after payment has been made and refused to pay refund or modify dates. Their system asks for 100 percent fee for replacing the flight so the large sum of money I paid is gone due to these bunch people f scammers even though the date they put in the confirmation is a month away
As the pandemic was beginning to intensify in India, the US state department called for immediate departure. To make things worse, I made the massive mistake of booking my travel home with Kiwi.com. I found myself standing at the ticket counter in Bangaluru with a booking confirmation, but no ticket. Kiwi.com never purchased my tickets home.
I then had to purchase another ticket, obviously not using Kiwi, for an incredible amount of money and then I had to convince the military to let me out of the airport and find a hotel during lockdown. I found a wonderful woman who opened up her entire hotel just for me and had to spend 4 days hoping international flights would remain open. Regardless to say, this was an incredibly expensive ordeal and one of the most stressful weeks of my life.
All because I booked with Kiwi. I have been trying to get a refund for months and haven't received any messages from their customer service. I would not recommend Kiwi.com to anyone and would even entreat you not to book with them.

Please be aware of this scam company in modern days! They deliberately make things tricky so that customer fallen into their trapped.
ZERO STARS ACTUALLY. They booked me on a flight all the way from HRE to MEL as though it were actually possible. (Normally use Flight Centre coz they do all the homework for you). I get to Singapore Air desk in Jburg 28 July 21 and they refused me boarding coz kiwi shouldn't have booked me through NZ according to the lady at the desk (or in the least told me prior so I shouldn't have left). Spoke to an agent from Kiwi, promised to look into rebook... not happening, so returned to HRE after failing to get an alternative route. They flat out refuse to refund me denying all responsibility and now my overnight Singapore layover hotel wont refund me either.
In a nutshell, totally useless, disappointing, unbearable! I used to be certain that travel agents were your go-to people when especially being busy and all. It appears not always! I advise people to book their own flights and skip this scammery/unethical behaviour OR stick with the professionals! If reading small print and going through a multitude of hoops with no advice/direction at all is your cup of latte, then this company ticks all the boxes and more!
I had the worst experience, this is the first time I booked through kiwi, the connecting flight have communications, I was about to miss my connected flights. Forget about the luggage I have to pay for both the airlines for my luggage separately. The airlines don't take any responsibility if you miss the other flight or not.
And you have to get boarding for at the airport again where u landed.

I booked a round trip form Detroit to San Francisco and kiwi just messaged me informing me about a "small change in flight times" and I found out my return flight to Detroit went from 7hrs total flight time to 21hrs 16 minutes flight time. When I asked for a refund the website tells me I can get $11 back total. Their "helplines" just hang up on me because I am not currently traveling. Do not use this site under any means, just go with another site. Saving $30 is not worth the hassle and scam tendencies this company has.
This company is running a fraudulent business. Please stay away. Vacations are supposed to be fun, but this company creates unnecessary added stress that you don't need, especially in times like now with pandemic challenges. We booked a flight a few months back. The first leg of our departure flight was cancelled by the airline. We were notified by Kiwi via email a month prior to our flight, but we weren't able to identify what had changed until a week later by having to maneuver their terrible website with awful customer interface. I would say get a better CX/Product team, but I know you're doing this on purpose to scam people, so I won't say that. We reached out via email several times, and did not receive a response. They also don't allow you to speak with a human being unless you're less than 14 days from your departure day so we sat idle all this time. We were finally able to speak with a customer rep today who told us our only option was to rebook the entire flight on their website. The only options they have on their website is 3X of options available on google flights. They told us there was no option to only book the leg of the flight that was cancelled or to receive a refund for the return flight. (sorry, we don't do partial refunds). They then informed us that we could've gotten a refund if we purchased a Guarantee service that we had to pay extra for. Why would I do that? The only time I should need to purchase a guarantee service is if I, the customer, choose to cancel or change my flight. Why would I purchase a service for something I have no control over? These people are professional scammers. Absolutely disgraceful. I am part of an avid travel group, I'll make sure to let everyone know about these fraudsters, but wanted to post here as well for people who may be looking to book with them for the first time, like we were. Kiwi.com, I can't wait to see you file for bankruptcy soon. Unethical companies like you rarely survive in a customer driven market. Filthy, filthy behavior.
Flights cancelled March 2020 Kept contacting nothing no joy told to contact airline told kiwi have money
Flight canceled without any given reasons, I have been waiting for an answer or a reimbursement for 3 months.
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Kiwi.com are crooks and charlatans. Avoid them. Dispute the charges with your bank if you can, and then spend 30 minutes online piling bad reviews till they are out of business.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
