They took 360.00 and will noy refund with just seconds of my purchase and realized that is was the wrong date. They will not help or reason. My first and last with these guys.
I currently purchased 3 tickets from them worth $1600, the airlines cancelled 1 of the trip. We are given an option to pay 1000+ additional due to the cancellation or refund. We chose to refund, they said that it is a 3 month processing. I just did the refund today 3/23/22.
I bought tickets with Kiwi.com in Feb 2020. Airline cancelled the flight. I contacted them for refund. Kiwi said they use their credit card not mine to book, so they will get the refund, asked me to pay more to process, I paid, now it is 2022, I got an email that now I have KIWI credit for only 70% of the amount. I called they want booking #, this does not work because it is 2020 reservation, there is no agent option. I sent messages but no response. I feel helpless. I need to file a complaint. Please do not buy with them
They steal your money and then say screw you! Just read their reviews. Unfortunately my daughter didn't before she spent money for her and 4 kids to go to a cheer competition in FL.

They cancelled our reservation 16 days after booked, confirmed by Kiwi and fully paid. This was 2 days before the flight. Airline still had seats available at 50% more of course. They must have hoped prices would go down and when they didn't, they simply cancelled us and refused to book the flight.
I bought a ticket from Madrid to Tel Aviv going through Turkey. The arrival and departure on Turkey was on the same airport. A couple of weeks after buying the ticket I got an email from Kiwi informing me 'the airline' changed the tickets this time arriving to a different airport (70 km away) from the one the flight departs from. Since the connection is 2 hours long, of course I will not be able to make it if I need to change airports. When I received the email I was half asleep and apparently clicked on 'accept' when reading about the great news. Now this, according to kiwi, holds me liable and if I want to get the flight which I originally purchased, I must pay an extra $300. So now this discount airline provider will become more expensive to me than having bought from a normal place to begin with. Their customer service is useless, I got no solution from them. Do not buy there, they will deceive you so they can charge you more money in the end. If I could place 0 stars I would!
This is the second time I tried booking with Kiwi and the second time it's been a horrible experience. Stay away.
I've been waiting for my refund for flights that were cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19 for almost 2 years! And Kiwi is just blaming the airline, but I know Turkish Airlines has great customer service and they have refunded people that booked with them directly, so I'm sure the problem is with Kiwi.com.

I booked a flight from Tijuana through Mexico City and San Salvador to Managua. These unprofessional and incompetent people created one Kiwi Reservation, but with three airline reservation codes. They made separate booking codes for the two connecting Avianca flights. Avianca then at check in were not able to tag the bags all the way to Managua. The bags had to be collected in San Salvador, and then rechecked, except there was only a 50 minute layover so we missed the flight to Managua. NEVER BOOK WITH THESE FOOLS AGAIN
I booked a ticket online with United nonstop. The next day they emailed me saying the flight with United is not available even though it was two months away, and that we would have to use an alternative flight such as Spirit which is cheaper and has two stops with a different airport. I got suspicious looked online and the United airlines flight WAS AVAILABLE on the United Airlines website! SHAME ON THEM! I tried to call but only automated and advise to go online. This is not a LEGITIMATE BUSINESS!
Kiwi has cancelled my flight with United Airlines without notice. They had offered a cheaper ticket with a fictive return flight (only needed a one way). The return flight got cancelled so they cancelled my whole trip, while the on flight (the only one I needed) was still on. The flight was not only not cancelled, it had still plenty of seats, as confirmed by United Airlines. Had to buy a whole new ticket and had to spend 1300 EUR due to that. The cancellation insurance will not cover, since the flight was NOT cancelle. Helpdesk at Kiwi kept on insisting the flight was cancelled. Nevertheless I was on it the next day, only had to pay the 1300 EUR more. Kiwi.com is simply a scam. You should not use this booking provider.
They do not do what they promise: at first everything seems to be working, but during the journey they didn't check- us in for return trip-so we had to pay huge airport fees. Never again going to use it!
It is worth spending a bit more off the bat to book direct with your airline. This is a scam & a nightmare if anything goes wrong w/ your flight
My flight was cancelled due to covid. I was told that I would get a refund but it's been 7 months now. It's not a small amount of money. I have to file a claim to DOT hopefully they will help. The worst website. Do not buy tickets from them. Ridiculous! Thief's!
This company is awful, the service is awful, think twice about using them. Booked family vacation along with hotel car rentals tours a few days prior canceled. The Internal Revenue Service has better help then these folks. They tell you the might get you some of your money back in 90 days. So you pay thousands for your ticket and they might get you a few hundred if your LUCKY modern day theives. I paid for a product I did not get the product through no fault of my own and they want to KEEP AS MUCH OF YOUR MONEY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. This company has no moral compass has no problem doing the wrong thing because they are a foreign company and can get away with things the american companies would never be able to do. I would highly recommend everyone who has a problem with this crazy people to contact KAYAK, SKYSCANNER and the other airline sites letting them know of your problems and helping others as well. If you are an American I would highly recommend you NOT BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY if you ever want to see your vacation or your money again. See the name Kiwi.com - RUN RUN RUN THE OTHER WAY
Bought a ticket for his wife and two children, booking number ******* on 25.02.2020, but due to the war in Ukraine, all flights were canceled, money Rainier returned to Kiwi.com, but they do not return, they say that the money is to their detriment, and they you can use for two years for a service, why then I paid for insurance for 2000 UAH, a refund in case of unpredictable situations, the mail is not answered, calls, too, how to deal with people, the worst service ever I met, swindlers, as for the return of money they take money, but in fact no one returns. Do not use their services, look for another search engine. I do not understand one airline returned the money and kiwi is not, just a paradox, SCAMMERS.

So I last minute booked a flight to Malmö, Sweden, initially thinking how great it was to find such cheap fares for me and my partner. When we reached the page for seat selection, I was told it would be an additional $38 per seat (the same price as both tickets!) Seeing as I'm not picky about seating I skipped this option as I didnt wanna pay so much just to select my seats. I made a joke to my partner as I was doing this "watch them not book our seats together." Can you guess what happened? I'm in the front of the plane, she's in the back. Who in their right mind would buy multiple tickets for a flight if they didn't want to sit with the person(s) they are traveling with? Now I get to take the chance that either the airline can fix this at the counter, or a person sitting next to one of us will be nice enough to switch so we can sit together. Definitely gonna fork up the extra cash next time I book a short trip just to avoid this company and their "service".
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.
Answer: There is no doubt that Kiwi.com is a scam. If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
