A seemingly well done online agent just until you buy your ticket - but turns into a stupid rip off right in the next minute with embarrassingly stupid, automated responses, basically zero customer care. They call an additional 20 hours overlay a "minor schedule change". Honestly I do not understand how these burglars are allowed to operate on the market, avoid them at any cost!
Kiwi sent a voucher for TAP but they say it has no monetary value. It's impossible to contact them, they don't reply to mails or recognise the booking no. I've received a refund for the return flight from easyJet.
Kiwi.com is a scam. I cannot control nature and they are inflexible with any changes. They will not help you if something comes up. Save your money, as they will take it and leave you stranded.
I booked flights through Kiwi with Ryanair, my co-worker booked directly. She got to check-in early and got a free seat choice. Kiwi won't check me in, or let me choose the seat for free. Turns out they have problems checking in with Ryanair and might be that I won't be able to check-in on-line at all, will have to pay and ask Kiwi for a refund. My colleague has none of these problems, and an aisle seat - guess which seat I will get when checking in at the airport. AVOID KIWI.
EXPOSING Kiwi.com - READ THIS
2 years ago, my wife and I were planning a trip to Australia. We booked our flight before the pandemic and as the world shut down in March, we were not able to go. We booked our tickets through 2 websites... Kiwi.com for the way there and Gotogate for the return.
A few months after the shut down, I contacted both websites to get my refunds. Gotogate processed a full refund in July 2020. However it's now been 2 years and I will haven't got anything from Kiwi.com yet.
I followed up regularly, and I have been told that Hawaiian Airlines rejected the refund request, and that they haven't heard back from Delta Airlines.
I eventually filed a complaint on the Department of Transporting website to sort this out as I wasn't getting anywhere on my own.
The DOT contacted the airlines, and they both got back to me directly.
I found out Delta refunded Kiwi.com in November 2020, and Hawaiian Airlines refunded them in February 2021. Kiwi.com fed me lies for 2 years when they had MY MONEY on their account.
After complaining to them, they are offering me a partial refund as a credit of their website. What a joke, how can they expect me to use their horrible service ever again.
I have screenshots of all the messages... I will share only a couple here to show I'm telling the truth.

I was under impression that kiwi representative never heard of it. Eventually I called the airline and canceled the flight.
FRAUD! I booked a ticket to flight in June worth £2000, they cancelled 2 weeks after booking and they won't refund the ticket, my advice do not book to this site, no customer service you can speak to.
Kiwi.com is a complete scam! They canceled my flights, forced me to pay another $400 to change those flights, and when I rejected they said I can get a $50 kiwi credit or no refund at all! They connected me to India to talk to customer reps that repeated the same scripts no matter how many solutions I offered the. I am now going through a transaction dispute process through my bank. I paid $550 in total. I wish I'd read the reviews before. I can't believe Skyscanner still directs to this site.
This is the worst 3rd party to buy your ticket from.

I picked kiwi.com from the list of options when I found my flight through Google Flights. They changed my flight from a direct 3 hour flight to a 27 hour flight. They said the airline rescheduled it and that it was a "minor change" and that there was nothing they could do. In what world is a 3 to 27 hour flight change a "minor change"?
In addition, they claimed that I clicked that I had accepted the flight change. I very specifically did NOT - when I checked the flight change I saw that there was a button for me to accept it and was very careful not to click it. When I messaged them, the first message I got back from them they said "We see you haven't accepted the change yet, here are your options blah blah blah", when I accused them of fraud their next response said "We see you have accepted the change", I hadn't even been back on the website, so someone on their end accepted it on me, this company is completely fraudulent.
There's a lot of shady companies out there but the issue here is GOOGLE - get this ***** company off your listings, what are you doing suggesting them through Google Flights! This company is completely fraudulent! I am still working with CC company to fight these charges.
As a customer with all the environmental changes that can happen at any time I'm upset. It state I could add insurance after the purchase as long as it was in time before the flight which was not the case apparently. I booked my flight 3 months in advance and the mandates changed in the country I was flying to so I can now no longer go there. Kiwi.com won't issue me a refund and I'm fine with that but you should at least offer full credit of my purchase to use within the year to change to use toward another trip. I refund of 10 euros is disrespectful when it is uncontrollable when a country isn't allowing foreigners into a country for any reason. On top of that they have changed my itinerary multiple times of arrival and departure far out of my means returning for work. I will never use this platform again the trip still hasn't occurred and haven't heard back since I last chatted with their bot service.
I would like to say so many things about this horrible company that I would not have space to write it. They are thieves, scammers, who take advantage of people, and then hide behind a farce facade, I still don't understand why they haven't closed the business to these scammers. For those who read this message, I advise you not to buy tickets through a company because if you end up canceling the tickets, as happened to me, cancel the tickets an hour after making the reservation and on the website it said that the refund was going to be total and it never was. I made the claim with my bank and even so they deign to make the refund. This is a bitter experience and I would not want it to happen to someone else.
First of all, I am extremely disappointed in your service. I have paid and booked my flights with your company, however not only my flights where not booked, I have lost over £800 in expenses.
For the first time I called to change my flight date, your employee haven't even done their job putting data in the system. To which I had to call again in order to confirm, however I been told that there's nothing in the record.
Once my flight dates where changed I was not informed about the change in price, not that the flights have not been booked. Two days before my flight I have called your company on three different occasions to confirm the check in. On all those three occasions I have been told not to worry, that whiting an hour or two I will hear back from the company. I have audio recording of conversation with your employee, which proves that not once it has been mentioned that my booking has not been processed. I have traveled to the airport, paid for a whole week worth of parking for my car. Your system have informed me that I will need to do check in at the airport which was not processed, once I went to Ryanair stand I was told that my name was not even in the system. I am utterly disgusted how I have been treated and the fact that I have been refused a refund. You have no right to call yourself a company and I truly wish no one will ever get scammed by this company like I have been
As the title says, they used fraudulent practices to book my flight with frontier. Frontier would not let me check into my flight, and when I attempted to, a message popped up stating that I had used a third-party agency to book my flights, which had used fraudulent practices, and therefore my ticket had been forfeited. They claimed this person also used a weird name and frontier airline credits somehow. I had to be on the phone for over two hours with kiwi, with frontier, back-and-forth trying to get this resolved. Long story short, I had to buy a ticket directly from frontier.
I have booked a flight from HKG to ICN around 2 months ago, and I did check my email and through the Kiwi app for many time, and there were so normal. Till yesterday I arrived airport there was no any notification that telling me the plane has been canceled. After I arrived, I went to ask the staffs in airport, they told me that the plane was canceled long ago. I was so helpless because the CS of Kiwi, were talking like that is none of their business. They refuse to refund and just keep telling me that they did send me the message which was I never received, and telling me due to the 'IT problem' the message didn't send out. It is so ridiculous because they have many way to contact me, phone number, email or though the app, and the funniest past is, it shows I have traveled.
KIWI WAS NOT ABLE TO RESOLVE MY REQUESTS BUT I PAID FOR THEM ALREADY. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME KIWI.COM DOES NOT GIVE WHAT THEY OFFERED ME. I WILL NEVER BUY WITH YKIWI.COM AGAIN. I ASKED FOR A REFUND AND KIWI.COM JUST TOLD ME THEY CANNOT WARRANTY IT, IT'S MORE THAN $3K. THE OTHER DAY THEY TOLD ME THAT WE CANNOT SIT TOGETHER, WE ARE FIVE, A FAMILY. IT'S INSANE. If you care for money never go for this service. I booked frontier from LAS to SEA, after boarding the flight the fligt was cancelled. Stupid frontier airlines did refund just the tickets leaving us stranded at the airport. No hotel, no flight costed us 1k to get back our expense. The refund to Kiwi happened then and there and Kiwi Customer care takes 3 months to refund back the amount they say. Airlines refunded them and they take soo long to get us back our money after so much inconvenience we have learned not to run for cheap airlines and 3 rd party websites.
If you have any other option, including adding more money to book with a different website, do it. Kiwi.com has one goal and it is to scare the passenger to paying more money on unnecessary thins, like extra insurences etc...
If you are not fast enough with their awful UI they will increase the price of your flight while booking it.
My flight has been changed six times within two months. Airports, arrival times, departure times, and an added 28 hour layover in Nashville! Customer service is non existing. Money lost. Do not use Kiwi.com!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
