I booked a flight 1 stop flight with a short layover. About 2 weeks after I paid I received an email saying my flight had changed, log in to see. All I could do was acknowledge the change. Turns out because I acknowledged the change, I'm locked into the 6 hour delay. Paid to leave in the afternoon, shirt layover arrive home in the evening. Now we leave at 8 in the morning! And board the same afternoon flight, to arrive home in the evening. Kiwi is not helping. The airline is Wyzz Air. I've booked with Kiwi before, no layover. I won't use them again. Dishonesty at its finest.
It has been 9 MONTHs since they have not refund my money. More than 5 months ago the team confirmed that Kiwi.com company received the money from the airline. Still, I have not received a dollar refund. It is FRAUD. The company is FRAUD
Booking Reference: *******... KIWI.com are the absolute "WORST" flight booking company EVER!. Book with these people and you are throwing your money down the drain!... I paid £230 extra for disruption insurance, and it isn't worth the paper it's written on!... My outbound flight was delayed by 2 hours causing a ripple effect to all my connecting Flights, Car Rental and Hotel. All KIWI did was re-schedule my flights to get me there a day later. They told me the only way to change my return dates and preserve the length of my Holiday was to enter a claim after I return to the UK an then they could re-book my return flights. This would clearly involve the use of a time machine and as such is impossible. I argued with them and begged them to change my return flights during my call 3 days before the return flights, but they refused and kept saying I had to follow the procedure and make the claim after I returned. Upon returning to the UK, I followed their advice and have just been told by their customer service team "I should have requested a change before my return flight", Which is exactly What I DID do, but miraculously they have lost all records of that conversation!. I cannot put into words just how angry that statement made me!.
During 35 years of booking flights around the World. KIWI.com are the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Please do not use this company!. They are a complete bunch of cowboys and have no professionalism at all!.
Save youself. Never ever book on kiwi. They delay the refund process deliberately and make customer chase after them. They do not have the proper follow uo on refund process as different agents would respond thru the helpdesk messages.The helpdesk agents do not know the details, updates of refund. This online booking kiwi is the worst cursed booking site.DO NOT. NEVER EVER BOOK WITH THEM. BOGUS ONLINE BOOKING.
When searching for flights, third party companies pop up where you can purchase your flights for cheaper, instead of purchasing from the actual airlines site. Looks like a deal but the small print basically says under no circumstances once you book, there is no refund, no changing any names, no changing flights, no adjusting your dates no full credits or anything even if it's the third party site fault. I was on their site for roundtrip tickets and clearly chose my dates correct and the wrong dates generated AFTER I finalized my booking! I immediately tried calling customer service, sending an email, trying the online chat option, and even reached out to my bank right away. It wasn't until the next day I got someone on the line with KIWI and they said the flights have already been approved by the airline, there was nothing they could do at all but refund me $11 out of $350, really. My bank issued me a credit but later took it back due to what ever KIWI sent them which was probably the small print. However this was no fault of mine. Anyway just beware when online read, read, read and try NOT to be cheap and DO NOT use third party sites for travel.
I been trying to contact kiwi and get a manager to call me back o have no success, I need to reschedule a flight with a waver provided by the airline but because I bought my ticket with Kiwi I have to do it thru them it seems that I one is familiar with this situation or no one wants to help me and they are all giving me the round around method… please don't ever use Kiwi to buy or book your flight worse place ever…
When COVID started, my flight and my husband's flight were cancelled. My husband had his money back but not me. After nearly 3 years the company refund me 19£ when I paid 124£. During these 3 years I didn't stop sending messages but not answer. Because I haven't accepted the refund they have put it as a balance...
Embarrassing
My credit card information was stolen after using it on the Kiwi website. I use this card only for booking the tickets and abroad. I haven't used it for a while and noticed two fraudulent transactions right after purchasing tickets with Kiwi. I notified Bank of America and reported this company as a scam.
What a joke of a company. Awful experience from the beginning where they charge extra for email support and you can pay extra for shorter wait times on the phone.
Booked a fight for $250. Less than a week after booking, the first leg of my return was cancelled and rerouted through another city. My "new" flight now landed 10 minutes before my connecting flight departed and I was forced to rebook. The alternative options they offered were going to cost anywhere from $300-$500 more and leaving at totally different times than my initial flight.
I requested a refund and they told me that my trip was non-refundable.
It's my own fault for looking at the cheapest possible option. Tried this one time and I'll never be back again.

I would like to share my experience of cooperation with the Kiwi company through which air tickets are purchased.
To begin with, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND the KIWI company if you want to save your nerves, time and money!
Next, I will describe the situation that happened to my family.
We bought tickets 2 weeks before departure from Krakow to Bogota (with a transfer in Amsterdam) and from Bogota to Tijuana. On the day of departure (less than 24 hours in advance) I receive a notification that the Kiwi company simply canceled our tickets for the flight from Krakow to Bogota, WITHOUT any reason. And they are not interested that we need to fly, since we had tickets purchased further from Bogota to Tijuana and which we could not reschedule.
The next day the money was returned to us, but NOT the full amount (without $ 40).
Due to the current situation, we urgently buy new expensive tickets with departure half a day earlier and with three transfers, but in order to arrive in Amsterdam on time. And then we were waiting for another surprise from the Kiwi company, at the check-in desk we are informed that tickets from Krakow to Germany for tomorrow, despite the fact that tickets from Germany to Italy and from Italy to Amsterdam for today.
Just a complete misunderstanding, incompetence and indifference of the Kiwi company to customers.

I ordered multiple trip flights and they canceled it, stating that it was on the carrier's fault. They said that they will refund me once the carrier will pay them for the canceled flight. It's been more than 9 months since and I didn't get a penny. They "Offered" me a miserable $48 refund for a $1,100 payment. I have tried to contact them hundreds of times and I haven't got any reasonable answer. All they do is redirect you to their website, where you cannot do anything. Please, don't use their service, you will not just lose your money, but also your innocence and the trust of man kind
The rating refers to the company, not the application! They don't care about their customers. Don't work with them! Support ignored me! This can happen to you too!
HEY GUYS DO NOT EVER EVER EVER USE Kiwi.com I purchased a trip to Costa Rica for my cousins wedding and withing the week they were already switching my schedule when I picked those times because I have two jobs. I then decided to cancel and they told me
I couldnt do anything until i was two weeks away from my actual travel date
They then told me that my entire flight is non refundable
And when I absolutely lost it they said to me that even if i were to get a refund I wouldn't receive it until THREE MONTHS FROM NOW!
After having purchased the travel insurance along with my flight. I now had to purchase another round of tickets. Thank you JetBlue I cant wait to fly with your airlines.
kiwi.com is a fraud company, i booked with them 2 years back, after booking they cancelled the flights and till now no solution. I am still waiting for a solution but i dont think that they will help. From past two years they are not replying and i loose hope now. I already filed a case in consumer court, lets see what will happen there. But one thing is very important that government should ban this website and put the culprits in the prison. But government is also not helping their citizens. We r fully hopeless now.
Kiwi.com is a fraud company. They will theft your money.
They just book flights and from then they don't care about customers if flight cancelled or delayed.

I wish there was customer service, there literally is no customer service to call. After confirming our flights we've been told three different separate times now that the flight previously confirmed was no longer available and that we would have to pay additional amount for a different flight. When asked for a refund we were given some crap explanation that a refund couldn't be guaranteed. You can't call and talk to anyone, how is this possible in 2022?
I booked a 1 hour long flight between an island and mainland when I was travelling with my husband. After I paid for the flight tickets I got a confirmation email... Only for it to say they were still processing my booking? Weird. Checked my credit card, yup, the money was taken out.
The next morning I check the status of my booking again and see that it says "cancelled by carrier". What the heck? Ok. I want my money back! I get an email saying I can try for a full refund. I click the link. Goes to the Kiwi.com website then a page pops up saying it can no longer find my booking. I read a bunch of the small print and it says if I don't respond or take any action they will refund me in full on the same card I used to buy the tickets within 10 business days. Ugh. Ok.
I wait 11 business days and nothing get refunded. I contact Kiwi.com through their online messaging bot. I find out that I was refunded but in Kiwi credit. When I explain that is not what I wanted and I want my real mo ey back, they simply said that Kiwi credit is IMPOSSIBLE to turn back into actual money to give me my refund. This sucks. I lost $467. For a flight that would only last 1 hour. So because I had to rebook somewhere else, I ended up dropping over $600 for a plane ride that lasted 47 minutes.
I don't know if I even want to use my credits for how unreliable and badly rated Kiwi is.
If your flight is not within 14 days it is impossible to speak to a service rep directly. You are force to 'chat' with a service staff which cannot understand or simply does not read the chat messages. Finally, when within 14 days of my flight I was permitted to talk to a service staff on the phone and twice the phone line was disconnected forcing me to repeat the problem. I offered to email the chat exchange to the service rep. When I emailed my concerns and a transcript of the failed 'chat' exchange to the email address provided I received an automated response email that said this address is no longer supported. Phew, 10 hours of 'chat' and phone calls and I am done. Say good by to my $245 Euros.
My flight was cancelled by the carrier and over 3 months later I have not gotten any money back (I am owed almost a thousand pounds) and kiwi has ignored all my attempts to contact them. They make it extremely difficult to contact them in the first place by leaving no email or phone number which suggests to me they are purposefully trying to avoid speaking with customers - because they know that most of us are extremely unhappy.

They cancel flight reservation with NO NOTICE.
You cannot manage your flight on the airline's websites and the customer service does not help you.
Flights will be "cancelled by airlines" even though you see the flight still running on the airline's website.
You cannot get a refund for one flight if you have numerous connections.
I have wasted hundred of dollars and hours because of them!
Answer: I have reserved 7 flight through Kiwi with Spirit Airlines. Within 24 h I realised that I made a mistake on the flight date. I made a change and saw that Kiwi wanted to charge for both flights. When I told them I thought I could be reimbursed, they told me to go through the refund process on their website. I did. Just to make sure, I called Spirit and explained the issue. They said that they would fully reimburse Kiwi because the change was make within 24 h and it was an american law. Today, I received the answer for my refund request and Kiwi said they could not get reimbursement from the airline and I would have to pay double. When I tried to reach them to tell them there had to be another way, all of their contact information on their website was 'temporarily unavailable'. I feel like they have stolen from me.

Answer: Kiwi makes money from air flight cancellations and mistakes they make because They will refund nothing! I even bought add on insurance. That doesn't prevent them from dismissing it will all sorts of unreasonable misdirection. They have no right to operate and be so big... at the expense of poor unfortunate customers who spend their hard earned money to travel. The give the aviation industry a really bad name.

If you want to get your money back, then email the US Department of Transportation (douglas dot e dot davis at dot.gov) and CC the CEO of Kiwi.com (oliver dot dlouhy at kiwi.com), the Vice-President of Customer Services (Petra dot Reiter at kiwi.com), and the head of customer servcies for the EU (anna dot cavazzini at europarl.europa.eu) Good luck and do not use them again.

Answer: Yes call them threat them that you will sue them and also tell your credit card company that they made a mistake and are not owning to it. Get screenshots of everything including your calls to kiwi. Ask them for a voucher and on other hand contact your credit card to file a dispute.
