The first leg of my trip required a layover and two boarding passes. The second boarding pass had the wrong destination written on it, which cause me to get held up at customs and required going to the airline desk to get the pass reprinted.
When I was traveling back, I attempted to check-in the night before my flight, and the app said that the check in was not supported by the app. I went to the airline website and found out that my flight didn't exist and that I was booked on a flight three days later! I wasn't notified of this change until I called Kiwi myself and told them the flight had been changed. I am convinced that I had never been booked for an earlier flight, that they just took my money and put me on a later flight.

I talked to a representative on the phone who was not helpful and told me that I should have protected my purchase! I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one available. My only options were to go with the later flight or request a refund, which they say may take up to three months to process and they don't guarantee any money back! Additionally, my first flight was moved by three days, but my connecting flight remained the original date I booked it and they said they couldn't help or change my connecting flight...how am I supposed to catch a flight when they moved my first flight by three days?

They are a total scam, unhelpful and not upfront. Book through the airline or a different website.

I hope at least through a negative review the company will pay attention and fulfill its obligations.
I am writing this letter with a request for a full refund of the money that I paid for tickets from St. Petersburg to Chisinau and from Chisinau to St. Petersburg. More than a year ago I requested a return, still have not received a response, this is outrageous. I paid for services that I never used through no fault of my own, but because of the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine. + to everything in my personal account, only one ticket Chisinau - St. Petersburg is indicated, but this is not true, there were two tickets and I requested a return for both tickets. I look forward to an answer.

Dont do it. Just dont Let this company go bankrupt its bad really bad. Look at all the reviews and just say to yourself. Do i want to lose money to and unreliable platform. I lost over 230$. They credit back 15$

They are scammers. The price goes up while booking. I clicked on baggage but it turned out that it wasn't added to the booking, then again I booked baggage for Euro 269.24 (what else could I do) and it turned out that this wasn't added to the booking either, so I had to pay for the baggage at the airport. Complaints and claims only get standard answers that they did the right thing and that I am not entitled to anything, while I have sent the proofs (the booking, which shows no luggage + the proof of payment for the luggage at the airport). They mislead you, charge way too much money for a service they don't provide, they get you in trouble at the airport and then don't give a damn and you can forget about your money. Really, what a nasty club.
Update: a few days after writing this review, I received a reasonable refund.

My flights got cancelled due to an airport strike. I never got back my refund. It's been a year and I'm still waiting. Do not use it unless you are prepared to lose your money.

WARNING DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. They made an error on me and my friend flight and did not try to accommodate us any type of way no credit no refund nothing just had to take a L. DONT purchase with them try bookingbuddy.com for better deals. KIWI is the worst.

One of my worst experiences ever with this kind of travel "agency" or "platform". I had to spend more than 500€ (extra) for my trip because their incompetency and their always referred "policy" and "terms", which are the excuses when they are unable to solve the easiest issue ever. They let you down at the airport and unhelpful. Will never go through this platform and would advice to everyone who has the intention to do so to drop immediately their thoughts. They are unable to solve NOTHING.
I found out that my wife was not checked in by Kiwi.com at the airport with an over cost of 220 $. Amazing! Before I had to buy another ticket because of an dob error (now I doubt if it was mine) with a cost over 400€. Great!

I attempted to book tickets for 4 (myself, my daughter and her two children). After booking my daughter I was required to pay and then was unable to book the rest of us. II tried again, starting with my grandchild and the site refused to accept her booking because she is only 10.

The next day I again attempted to book myself and my two grandchildren. This time I got as far as myself and then I was unable to book my grandchildren. This ticket was finally refunded after a 50% price increase, which I refused.

I tried to straighten all of this out with Kiwi customer service. They failed to call back as promised. I got the usual customer service response: "Sorry, you only booked for one person", which is not what I attempted to do but was only allowed to do.

The company refused to change the name on the first booking, so my daughter could travel with her unbooked children. All in all, as polite as the customer service people were, some of whom were difficult to understand, I did not accomplish any of my goals, they did not take responsibility for their website problems while booking, and I am probably left with loosing the price of the one ticket- a 10 euros refund would not cover come near the cost of the ticket and is unacceptable.

And finally I have consistently requested an email copy of the transcripts recordings of our conversations that they promised to provide, and I have yet to receive them.

I will never use this company again; and I do not recommend using Kiwi.

Respectfully, a completely disgruntled customer

Misleading, deceptive, an organised scam

Kiwi have about the worst refund policy you'll find anywhere. They lead you to believe you can get a refund with statements like "you can cancel your flight up to 48 hours before departure" but they do not disclose that the refund is only 2% of what you paid, which is given to you as flight credit for rebooking. You click on 'refunds and cancellations' on your booking screen, and the popup that comes up is blank, I assume that's where they're meant to state that the refund is only 2% of the fare. Even in the refund terms and conditions it doesn't state refund is only 2%.
Dealing with their customer service is very stressful, they know exactly what they're doing but play dumb, and insist that the customer was 'well informed' of their refund policy.

This by far they worst Booking company in they world, please be aware of these are Indian scammers, they legally Rob people, if You cancel a flight they Will never refound You anything, they Will always win and You Will loose, they Say that they can offer refound but that is not true, they Will never refound You any money at all. Please avoid this company at all costo, Even thought they provide cheap flight it is not worth it, it is vary easy to miss a flight when they are múltiple layovers, i feel sorry for You if You choose this company. Terrible costumer services, You Will have to wait days to get hold onto a manager. You are better off paying more to another company that at least can give You a more decent costumer services, or perchasing a flight thought an airline directly that at least can give youchance of recieving a refound. Be warn, These are profesional criminales.

After our flight was canceled and we tried to contact kiwi for help with rebooking or credit. Where told they had not been informed by airline so they couldn't help at all. 48 hours later still nothing but lies we had to rebook with another airline our selfs, zero customer support,, never again 0/10 for this company

The worst agency ever, they just steal your money, the customer service the very bad and they don't even listen to you. ( they asking me to take the flight after it has landed) I got kiwi guarantee, and they let me alone middle of night. They gave alternative flight with 26 hours including 2 transit and buss, instead of my direct flight. Hahahah and thy refuse to refund my money back, I asked to talk to a supervisor and they also said he is not available. Just swindlers. Not recommended

I wish I could give it -100,000*'s
This company is the worst travel company I have EVER dealt with, don't trust them. I initially had a very hard time getting them to confirm my actual flight with the airline after many attempts to get the correct airline booking # I finally was able to get it directly from the airline until then the airline could not confirm our flight. I had asked Kiwi.com if I could pay for checked bags, they said no their was no checked bags allowed on this flight so when I FINALLY got my confirmation with the airline I paid for checked bags directly with them, the airline charged me $100 for 2 checked bags and informed me that the receipt for this would be sent directly to the booking company I used and to ask them to forward it to me. I did so and their reply was " they would like to inform me that they will check the possibility with airline and charge me a 30 EUR ( I'm in Canada ffs) handling fee to do so" I said I already paid with airline I just need receipt, they then said "we respect your decision that you have contacted the airline to request baggage. In case your flight will be disrupted when you are at the airport, your coverage with us has been voided. Then wouldn't send me my baggage receipt. So of course upon check in at airport they said they didn't see I paid for bags and they needed a receipt which kiwi.com refused to send me so I had to pay a fee of $140 for 2 checked bags I'm now trying to get this refunded from the airline directly, the best part is they contacted me and wanted me to edit my review to a positive one lol, ya right nothing positive comes from booking with kiwi.com don't do it people + they have hidden fees

Absolute scam: Kiwi.com suggested to pay for the sport equipment in advance before the flight, charged $200, at the airport the paid invoice did not work at the check-in and I was asked to pay again for the same thing but $50.

So Kiwi charges 4 times more for the same thing, and this service does not even work.

Of course it takes forever to get a refund.

I booked a flight with Kiwi and they sent me a booking number for Sunwing. I went on Sunwing site to check if I was actually booked and Sunwing told me the booking number is invalid. When I called Kiwi, they said at their end I am booked...whatever that means.
I requested full refund or proof the booking number is valid on Sunwing flight.
The were unable to provide proof and denied the refund.
Total scum!
I do not recommend booking with them.

Scam, theft

Flight was cancelled by on 12/27/2021. I had to purchase tickets with another airline to avoid my son being stuck in a strange airport overnight. Kiwi instructed us to reach out to the airline, Spirit, who referred us back to Kiwi as we had FULLY REFUNDABLE tickets with their "GUARENTEE: through their service and they also would not refund the connecting flight he also missed. This has been an open case since 12/27/2021 and is now 03/27/2023! No communication other than it is still in the process and please allow time as it could take up to 3 months...it's been 5x that! And I have to reach out every couple months just to TRY and get a response. Last communication on 01/09/2023 said we are still processing it, to allow 3 months but do not keep sending in refund requests as this will not making it go any faster. Maybe a lawsuit will expedite the process?

I unfortunately had to make a changes to a round-trip flight I booked 1 day ago that is 3+ months out. I booked with the 'super saver' (or whatever they call it) and my understanding was that included the ability to make changes if necessary. However I was told that because the trip had 'already been ticketed by the airline' there was nothing I could do, I would need to purchase a new round-trip flight. But they would give me a $10 discount. (me rolling my eyes.)

Unless your trip is set in stone and you are somehow getting an amazing deal by using them, please don't give them your money! There are many other companies to chose from!
