Even though I could use a 105mm portrait lens, I was not actively looking for one. Then there was an email from KEH that highlighted the exact lens that I would be looking for. So I jumped on the purchase, which was well under the normal new retail, ordered it on a Tuesday and had it delivered on Saturday. Unreal. The lens was even in better shape than I expected. Thank you KEH!

From start to finish, experience with KEH was great. Website was easy to navigate & receiving the gear packaged well, I felt confident in the products purchased. So far, the camera & lens are great! Cannot wait to add more lenses to my collection!
My order was processed and shipped in a timely fashion. I have three niggles with my KEH experience as a Canadian.
1) KEH does not offer USPS shipping which is by far the simplest way to send products from US to Canada. The shippers that KEH does offer typically charge brokerage fees and collect import duties whereas USPS shipments "fly under the radar" with no such fees typically charged.
2) My items were dramatically overpackaged, two filters and a manual in a box of almost 600 cubic inches! Despite that, the manual is a bit bigger and would not lay flat so it was deformed on arrival. And, I had the order shipped to a forwarder in the US who WOULD us USPS to ship to me but it cost much more than expected because of the large size of the carton.
3) One item was new and two were used. I agree with the "Excellent" rating on the manual but I think the "Excellent" rating on the used filter was overstated; instead I think the rating should have been "Good".
Overall, it was not a bad experience. It would have been made so much better if KEH would offer USPS delivery to Canada.
