I trust KEH completely for any used photo gear I need and always check them first. I've bought both 35mm and medium format film equipment and accessories from them and have always been pleased with the way it's represented online, shipping cost and speed, and the condition of the gear I receive.

This is a first-class company, and I recommend them wholeheartedly for anything you need that they have in stock - especially instead of an auction where you never know quite what you'll get.

I used to like KEH more. I still like them, but their marketing team has gone a little overboard in my opinion. Promo deals all of the time on stuff that, most of the time, you would never buy, and always timed to get you to buy now now now, while you might have just bought something yesterday for a higher price. It's starting to feel - from a marketing standpoint - like a used car operation. Now it's like you don't want to buy anything from them when you need it because you feel like you should wait to see what tomorrow's sale is, but it's never for what you're hoping.

I wish it would just go back to straightforward pricing and leave the loud and constant marketing mumbo jumbo at home. I'm already on their email list, and every time I go to the site I am prompted to join their email list. Quite frustrating.

Other than that, usually pretty serviceable used camera equipment at fair enough prices that I have happily patronized for years, but I tend to forget about that these days because of the marketing blitz. I'm sure next time I need used gear I will, like usual, compare to what's on ebay and if necessary purchase from KEH. I'll usually pay a little more from KEH because the reliability is generally there, but I won't pay way more than ebay prices.

Return Policy - I have always received good service from KEH, especially with returns. I have returned several items, not because there was a problem with the product I bought, but because I misinterpreted the system compatability. The only thing I can think of thqt I thought was below expectations was what you offered when I wanted to sell items to you. But that is the way of the marketplace - supply and demand wins out.

Now with new website of them thy make it from bad to worse i make an order in it and there is no bank transfer option ohh let me use there classic website classic.keh.com and make the order and wire the total amount of money and what? The money return back to my account my bank told me that there is no bank found that you try to wire with or its scam i try to contact KEH with no answer along week or so.

At Keh cameras they will not give you top dollar for your used camera equipment and you can get more for your gear on craigslist or ebay. It seems to be about 20-40% more if you sell it on your own. When I lived in NYC, it was much better to just sell my camera equipment on craigslist and I could easily sell it within days. Now living in a smaller town I do not have any buyers off of craigslist and ebay isn't working for me and it taking much too much time to sell my old canon DSLR.
