KEH was reccommended to me by a good friend. Was a little apprehensive while considering my first purchase because the item I had picked to buy seemed to be priced pretty low, even though it was listed as an item at 70-79% of new quality. After receiving my lens I was surprised and happy with the quality. It looked and performed great. I have purchased other items since then including a Nikon D90 body and have had no regrets. Happy to have found you guys!

I've bought 5 or 6 items from Keh.com and I can't thank them enough for bringing quality used lens within reach of my pocket. I've literally saved hundreds of dollars and grown my photography by leaps and bounds. Every lens I buy from KEH exceeds my expectations so absolutely I have never had a regret buying here.

Having said that I've never sold a lens through KEH (maybe cuz all of mine are keepers) so can't speak to that side of the business. Now photographic art is never about the equipment but let me tell you why I think KEH helped my work. Each lens gave me a somewhat different perspective of my world and a new learning curve, forcing me each time to adapt my camera settings, how I approached a scene, composed it and processed it afterwards. In effect each KEH lens expanded my world and my photographic vision.

I am not pro just a keen enthusiast. Not great but better today than I was yesterday. If you haven't yet, give them a try!

Happy Hour doesn't really work well since most of us are either commuting from work or are busy at work. Evenings or weekends are best to do these sort of sales. Also, I am a little confused about the offerings on ebay at kehoutlet.com vs. your regular sales. It is hard to view the entire inventory and it seems to give an impression of two different stores rather than one unified vendor. Delivery times are spot on (excellent) and you guys (and gals?) excel in that service. But when I call to find out about the condition of a lens, the customer service person on the phone tells me that the actual item is at the warehouse and they cannot look at a camera or a lens and go into any sort of detail about it because the merchandise is kept in a different location. Unfortunately, that is not a good thing. The Keh website itself doesn't have enough photos of items, too many times there is a dark black image with a descriptor rather than a photo...why? You are photo people, right? Gets a bit annoying, even if some of these items are mere accessories. OK, I will get off of my soapbox. But please take these comments of mine in stride and I hope that some improvements will be made along the way. Good luck. Jay

I am a repeat customer at KEH. The grading system used at KEH is a benchmark for used items: I trust KEH from actual experience. I see and read the grading from sellers on auction sites, and often wonder if the auction site seller has any knowledge, e.g., a camera with a ding was graded as Excellent. The items sold by KEH are superb in their quality, tested, and graded so conservatively. KEH customer service is superb - again from actual experience. I would very much prefer to purchase from KEH compared to other auction sites.

I live in the Atlanta Metro Area and have been doing business with KEH for longer than I can remember. NOt only have I purchased cameras from them, I have had them repair and restore cameras damaged by extreme heat and other nasty events. If anything, their rating system is extremely conservative, I have purchased bargain lenses only to discover that they were optically perfect, mechanically smooth, but the paint was a bit blemished. They ship FedEx, which here in Atlanta is OK, but I've found that FedEx is an unreliable carrier for shipments to other locations. FedEx will not deliver to our condo in Alexandria Virginia, even when instructed to do so. Other than FedEx, I would rate KEH as close to being perfect customer friendly company as humanly possible.
