Don't buy any thing from them they are big scam take 2 weeks to come when arrived half of thing was missing call them email them no return no refund no exchange
Ordered a simple faucet aerator. It came in the wrong color. They want to charge me a restocking fee and have me pay for shipping to return it. They claim it's not their fault since it is a manufacturer error even though I bought it through Katom and not the mfg.
What on earth? Ordered one cheapo thing that I could not find anywhere else as a gift. Got sent to the fraud department, and I had to explain who this purchase was for? Baby, I have been buying things for decades. I should have told them it was none of their goddamn business, but I'm not quick enough. Can't believe they're such jerks to everyone!
Company uses 25% restocking fee to steal from it's customers. I'm a long time, repeat customer who planned to buy over a dozen commercial microwaves from Katom in 2023. Customer service reps fabricated a story that declined a delivery. I worked with Lyndsey Parrott and Hauna Whaley who seemed understanding, but stopped returning calls and emails. The experience has been completely unprofessional and shows them living up to the poor online reputation they rightfully deserve. The deals might be worth it short term, but stay away from this company and save time, money and a hassle in the long run.
Order whole Overshelf,just shipping the a piece of part that cost me 600 bucks include shipping fee and tax.The picture of the order in the website is easily misleading for customer.Bad experience the first time order.
I purchased a commercial oven, plus a set of casters and other accessories, from Katom. They shipped the casters and other items immediately but told me there was a short delay with the oven. I had to continuously call them for updates regarding the ETA of the oven, because they would never provide updates. This went on for 1 YEAR, before they finally said they will never have the oven. So they suggested an alternative model which I settled for because I couldn't wait any longer. At that time they also assured me that the casters I originally bought would work with this new model. I was not actually able to install the casters for a few months after receiving the new oven, but turns out they did NOT fit this model. Customer service refused to exchange them for the right casters because it had been over 30 days. I wasn't even trying to return them, just exchange for another set that was the same cost. And they were unused in original packaging. So in the end, they lost a customer and thousands of dollars of future sales because they refused an exchange of $100 casters. As a business owner, I can't even imagine their reasoning and poor decision making.
The worst service ever, I bought commercial Manitowoc ice maker total of $5,127.80 paid in full on 12/31/2022 I supposed to get it delivered within 4-5 weeks never happened I called them they told me it should be delivered on 2/20/2023.on 2//13/2023 I called to make sure about the delivery date they said no it well take may be another 2 months. They offered me another non brand ice maker which I don't like those. I have the same exact experience about one and a half years ago when I bought an open sandwich cooler end up buying another new cooler have a lot of problems' and cost me more money. I NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, I DONT RECMEND THEM TO ANY BODY.
If they don't get my equipment, I'm going to report them.

Total scam site. I was sold a shopworn (resold) defective item and ghosted thereafter. Shop somewhere else if you don't want to get robbed. (Twice drilled handle scales with botched rivet job.)
I recently purchased a Mo Tak ice machine from Katom for my restaurant. After it was unpacked the plumber came in to run the water lines. Turned on it barely makes any ice, about the size of a bag you get at the grocery store. I called Katom and requested service. I was told they don't handle service or warranty and gave me a # for the "manufacturer". I called and got an answering machine and left a message friday morning. No one returned the call. I googled the manufacturer of Mo Tak and it made by Katom. It is Sat now and I called Katom and was told the same - I need to call the manufacturer and when I pointed out they are the manufacturer and told the rep that I would like to return it. She said I could return it only if it was "unopened, in original packaging". There is no way to tell if it is defective if you cant plug it in. She said she would tell the manufacturer (which is katom) on Monday and someone would get back to me with a phone call, not a repairman. This is unacceptable for a brand new appliance right out of the box. I will purchase a better brand and most likely take them to small claims court for this machine if they dont take it back.

I ordered a reach in freezer and fridge. Mentioned on the order it will take 6-8 weeks to deliver (which was perfect for my situation). I entered shipping address on order, and paid through PayPal. Once I approved PayPal my order was complete. Somehow my PayPal switched delivery addresses. I received confirmation email seconds after approval and noticed it was the wrong address. I tried to contact them through chat (creating a ticket) and email to change the address. (It was after hours) I assumed they would read the chat and or email and switch addresses. I get an email not even 24 hours after my order was placed that the freezer has shipped to the WRONG ADDRESS! I immediately called and they told me they would cancel my order and have the delivery returned. I finally get a refund 3 weeks afterwards and they took almost $300 for delivery and restocking. I called again informing them I was not told by anyone about these fees. I submitted proof of my attempt to contact them and multiple emails/phone calls and almost 5 weeks later-nothing.

Yeah my review is that I've ordered an item for over three weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it and Now I've just received a email from yesterday telling me that it was on back order and I Never knew it until yesterday. And however I was told by a customer support telling me that I won't be able to get the item that I've paid money for until January the 23rd of 2023 how the Hell did this happened? Well it doesn't really matter Now because I'm going to demand my money back and who knows when I get a refund it could be six months from now or probably Never so anyway katom is the worst place to buy equipment especially what I need it for and this is the worst store on this planet today and the customer support sucks and No one knows exactly what they are doing so this website is totally despicable and it's a total waste of time and money and it's garbage and I would never ever do business again with them again.
I called Customer Service and spoke with K. Holloway and she was not only very pleasant on the phone but send me the paid receipts I needed immediately and even stayed on the line with me to make sure the receipts came through. THANKS KAITLYN!
Their "cart" indicates "Usually ships in 1-3 business days". And it has been more than two months from order. Competitors have indicated to me they have it in stock and can ship immediately.
I was ordering all my restaurant equipment from this company when after shipping the stove being out for delivery, they put a hold on all my other orders until I prove I'm an actual business by sending them proof of my business. They already took the money out of my bank account, and also told me that it declined once (because I accidentally went over the $5,000 limit that my bank increased only for a few days to make these orders) so therefore that was another reason everything was on hold. (But my account shows where they already deducted the other stuff I ordered?) When trying to email and calling customer service, I got nothing but the run around, and then told either I sent what they asked for or they would not ship. I was also told they would have the order that already been shipped turned around and sent back so I would not be receiving it.
Really? This is how they do business when I was spending several thousand dollars! When did it matter if I was really a business or shipping to my house, they already have been paid.
I will never deal with company again, and there is a major failure in management somewhere, because the employees answering the phone are only doing what they are told.
If you're not familiar with these glasses; white wine lovers must check them out! I ordered a set of (8), and two arrived shattered. I called customer service and they assured me replacements would be shipped out right away. The factory inadvertently shipped me another box of (8) and when I called to let them know, my customer service person Kaitlyn Holloway assisted me immediately. Rather than ask me to ship the additional (6) glasses back, Kaitlyn told me to just keep all (8). This is what I call first class customer service!

I ordered some supplies for the first time and they sent me the wrong product.
Took me 1 month to get a return label.
Then its taking more then 2 months to get my money back.
Very poor experience and customer service.
The returns department gives you the run around and states that they are waiting on the warehouse to check the return.
When you try to call them you are placed on hold for over 10 minutes and they are still not wanting to return your funds after providing them with tracking number that shows the return was complete over a month ago!
STAY AWAY!
Answer: False, they emailed me promptly. I do not write reviews but because of the people on here misrepresenting the company I almost missed out on a great price with free shipping. The experience was great from start to finish. Why is every company on this site so negative
