I loved it. I learned how to talk to jazzy without getting upset because he wasn't listening. I wasn't sure that this would be helpful and I have been struggling with my dog. He's slowly learning. Just have to keep at it so that he will be a good dog. Thanks for the help!

You had me at Watch and Touch. Because Sit works, but stay has failed over and over. Your introduction to your program email and video tease was very informative. Enough for even me, someone who just paid 2500.00 to Bark Busters for someone to come to our house for 3 hours one time and give us all this information one time in one night and expected us to remember everything and practice it all and only call on them and read their email and practice everyday everything for 15 min a day. Very unrealistic expectations for two dogs, and two humans with bad memories. I was just about to hit sign up now link to pay the 297.00 for your CD's because the JUMPING VIDEO and the PULLING VIDEO and especially the BARKING at the Doorbell Video are what we are having the most trouble with. I think your training session would give everyone the peace of mind they need to enjoy the full potential of their pets.

Postive reenforcement
March 28, 2023

I have watched the free lesson with the K9 Training Institute, It was totally amazing. I learned just so much in a short amount of time. The tips you gave were very easy and I am going to try them on my doggies right away. I know I have done some things right, but others I need work on.

If I had the time and money I would try your class, however at this time, I am limited with what I can do, but thank you for the free workshop.I admire the work you do.
Sincerely, M. Fleming

Fair and dog friendly
March 28, 2023

Every dog needs a job. I can see the importance of this approach. It really makes a difference if your dog commits himself to a task. She will become less moody and more self confident. This approach is well elaborated. Clear steps to follow how to establish and deepen the bond between a dog and his person. Most important is to communicate via eye contact and body language.

Excellent tips
March 28, 2023

The workshop was very insightful. As a kid, I grew up with a dog and I was practicing those same old tricks with my current dog. I had no idea I was doing it all wrong. For example, anytime someone would come into the house my dog would jump all over them, including me. This was very bad because i would be forced to lock him up. The workshop gave great tips on how to stop my dog from doing this. I tried the recommended technique, and I can honestly say, it worked! I was amazed how my dog does not do that anymore. He still gets excited anytime someone comes through the door, but he does not pounce/jump on them. Work in progress!

After investing in a six week in-person dog training, Bella was not making any progress In important behavioral issues such as recall and barking when someone is at the door. Now she is on her way to learning how to be a valuable member of our family regardless of what distractions are at hand! I am so happy!

Best workshop ever
March 27, 2023

Honestly the workshop was great. The few things I Learned, I've been teaching Lulu and I've definitely seen the difference. I'm actually waiting until my next paycheck to purchase the whole thing. My dog is super energetic and undisciplined due to her previous owner but thank for you I'm able to turn things around. Thank you so much.

Great reminder
March 27, 2023

As an experienced dog owner and trainer I always try to keep up with new ideas and methods. The train8ng reminders and ideas from K9 Training Institute were a great consolidation of various techniques and methods I have heard of / used over the years. They would be ideal for someone new to dog training as well as for a more experienced dog owner or trainer. Anything that adds to your toolbox of ideas can only benefit your relationship with your dog.

All my neighbors comment on how well trained my dog seems to be. I reply that controlling my dog's behavior is always a work in progress. I am a former trainer and "Training Director" for a major state agency (retired). Good training has always been the result of focusing on desired performance outcomes and helping the trainee to desire to meet or exceed those performance outcomes. The two go hand in hand. The same goes for my pup. A rescue, she was a one-year-old terrier/schnauzer mix. Weighing in at 24 lb. I was told she would not get much bigger. After having her for just three weeks my wife and I brought her to a dog park and we were traumatized by her attempted viciousness toward a mother and her two children. Securely leashed at the time I never expected to be able to trust her around children or strangers. Four years later and now grown to 56 lbs. she is a pleasure to walk and I even get her to fetch my neighbor's newspapers and set them near their doors. The K9 Training Institute methods have reinforced and validated my training techniques. The Institute has helped me to understand what I have done right, what I can improve on, and what I needed to stop doing immediately. I subconsciously knew that my dog recognized my body language but I never understood to what level. For the first time I consciously recognized the hand signals I often used with verbal commands were key parts of my body language. I also learned the importance of positive corrective behaviors. My goal now is to train my dog to alert me when a visitor is at my door instead of going into frenzied barking and running to the door. I had no idea how to begin to correct this behavior until I was introduced to the philosophy and techniques of the K9 Training Institute. I could not have trained my dog to this level without first training myself.
