The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

I am still working with my puppy, Charleston Phins, on his training to be my PSA dog. He is doing very well; he's very smart.
Having two Goldendoodles, I have read and observed many dog training tips. I have also attended a dog training program with the larger dog. My smaller dog has always had issues with meeting people. She gets very excited and jumps. Otherwise, I consider her well trained. I have yet to find a good solution for this issue. However, I did find the k9 video informative and helpful.
Good presentation. Excellent examples. Already working for me and my dog. K9 TI willing to share helpful information without yet registering for the program. That's generous and says a lot about this company.
Copper is slowly but surely improving. But a good amount of his reactivity comes while being woken from a sleep
I have been doing the watch and touch with Buddy and he is very good and the watch but selective with touch but I have such good tools now to get the best results with Buddy now. Work in progress
The free course was so informative and targeted exactly the issues I needed to hear about. No special equipment or e-collars required. It makes sense. I have been using it with my dogs now with much success. Looking forward to more after mastering what I have learned in this course.
I was searching for help, as a new dog mommy, and found this video, fairly easily. After watching it once, I was able to start that day with a more efficient training regimen, and it started working that day. Katie is well on her way to sitting when asked to every time, and we have begun puppy pad training as well. When I need further help, I plan to reach out to K9 Training Institute.
Very easy to navigate site and thier follow up has been very kind not pushy.
I think they seem to know what they are talking about..
I have only watched the 1st video, and am impressed with the information
I just watched the free video and am going to start implementing these tips immediately. If successful I will enroll in the master class.
I am happy with them so far but haven't started the master class. I am excited to start it because I've always wanted a well-behaved dog like the service dogs.
The workshop is great. I know a professional trainer and she uses their method to train setvice dogs and highly recommends it. If it wasn't for me already studying positive training books, it would be worth the investment.
I have been following the tips for a better experience with my dog Doogie. It is so informative and easy to follow.
It has been many years since I needed to train a young (and "damaged") dog from scratch. The Training Workshop really brought home the importance of eye contact and body language as well as treats.
Ladybug's doing so much better. Behaving, less barking, and understanding commands. I've even gotten her 2 brothers into the planning and training. All are doing very well.
I found this free online training session to be very informative. I have taken my dog to trainers and I've read other books about dog training yet I was still surprised by tactics they had in here that I hadn't heard of. I actually had my dog scheduled with an obedience veterinarian. After watching this class. I canceled my session with the doctor because my dog was starting to improve immensely.
I watched the Three Step training video. One day later, my 9 year old dog was no longer pulling on her leash. Next, when someone came to the door, she was sniffing and licking them to death, I gave her a job... and the behavior stopped in just a couple of visitors. Last but no least, she would jump on everyone and beg for a treat anytime anyone was near the treat box. I started leaning into her jumps and looking away... a week later, no more issues! Thank you so much for sharing these instructions!
My biggest take away was to use physical gestures in training your dog. I did not realize that was the best way of training in addition to verbal communication. I have also been practicing the "walking next to me" techniques.
