I haven't done the whole course yet but watched the video and immediately saw the benefit of the touch command. We started to train our dog immediately to touch and it's working well. She will now come in from outside to TOUCH when she wouldn't COME before. I also started working on body language to stop jumping up. It worked almost immediately. The third trick I adopted was doing a uturn when she's pulling on the leash. That also worked extremely well. I like many of the ideas presented. Thank you!
I loved it! I found it very informative and easy to follow.
Very informative and well presented. Although my border collie is extremely well behaved he doesn't like cars. I have tried numerous training methods while walking him but haven't had too much success. He still lunges at cars. Would love some help with this. I've used very similar methods to yours with all his other training and have had great success. Body language is key!
I found the tutorial most helpful, more so for me, than Zak. I now know that I need to tweak a few things to keep Zak concentrating on me, and to stay calm. When someone else explains things properly, it makes so much more sense, and easier. Many Thanks for your guidance. Jan.
I watched the free dog training workshop by K9 training institute and it was excellent. Thank you so much for this informative and useful video.
The information provided and its presentation is excellent
I had never been taught how to train a dog so this was very helpful.
I have had 8 puppies during my life and wish that I would have had this training program. Currently I have a emotional support dog and will put these tips and training videos into effect.
I sure do appreciate the K9 Training Institute for sharing their training tips for showing a dog how to be calm. As my mother used to say, "No one likes a child or a dog who misbehaves!"
I am a twenty five year German Shepherd breeder and trainer. However, I have not trained a puppy in twenty years. Basically I joined to get "memory joggers" and new techniques. I have found this training site to be excellent, not only is it bringing tips and tricks that I used years ago back to me, it is giving me tips that I have never seen before. If someone like myself can benefit from this course, a newcomer to dog training must find it absolutely irreplaceable.
This knowledge has helped me so much with training Riggs. He is starting to listen to me better and be a better dog all around!
Well done seminar for a novice in training dogs, I have already seen changes in using the techniques provided.
Enjoyed the webinar, looking forward to learning the steps I need to follow so that I can train my dog to be as obedient as a service dog. (I believe this will be more about training me so that I can understand and work with my dog effectively.
I tried the examples. They worked wonderfully. My dog learned them quickly.
I'm yet to commit to the course. I do find the info presented informative and it ticks the boxes I need. I would like to see a few negative reviews for balance (unless of course there genuinely aren't any). Overall I'm leaning toward giving it a try.
The Video was a real eye opener and the tips were extremely helpful, in training my Deaf Puppy. He looks for cues all the time and now I know how to give them!
The information I received on line were very helpful, A six month old Dobeman male puppy is quite a handful, the
Tips sent to me were a help in calming this bundle of energy down.
Just from the free 4step program I have seen immediate effects on daily walks. Amazing how quickly it works
The class was extremely helpful. Instructions were very clear and the reasoning sound. I quite enjoyed it. Chloe (dog) learned very quickly with the helpful tips.
